Why The Owner chose Seattle

I chose to purchase this home from my father's estate to use as a second home for myself, as I live and work in Central Washington and so enjoy getting away to enjoy the many delights of Seattle. When I am not there, I like to make it available for guests to enjoy the comforts of home during their stay in Seattle.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This place is so wonderful - peaceful, quiet, beautiful, a joy to stay here. Better than any 5 star - 5 diamond hotel I have ever stayed in. On future trips to visit my son here I will definitely try to stay here. Will be recommending to all my friends and family.

A very positive first experience of VRBO at Magnolia Memories.

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience with VRBO accommodation.

We had traveled from Australia to meet our 2 daughters in Seattle for 4 days. I found the booking, payment and entry to the property to be very well explained. The house and garden were every thing we expected and more. The home owner Debra provided additional information via email prior to our arrival, for example how unusually hot it would be at the time of our visit and some helpful hints to overcome this. I have no hesitation in recommending Magnolia Memories, particularly for a quiet family get together in suburbia. ( PS A short walk to grocery store, cafes and pub)

Short but nice stay

  • 4 of 5

This property was very nice and clean. The owners definitely cared about making the renters as comfortable as possible. It was a very short stay so we can't really comment on the kitchen but it appeared to be well equipped. We had planned on using the grill one night but discovered it required charcoal which we didn't get so we decided against that plan. The beds were comfortable. The over the counter sinks in the bathroom were nice but the added height made it difficult for a short person like me to use.

It was really easy to communicate with the owner. The area is beautiful although a bit further from greenwood where my daughter lives. I would recommend this property to others.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind words! We have attempted to provide comfort, very excellent and aesthetic accommodations, including ease of use as a priority at Magnolia Memories. The height of sinks in the Master Bath was an installation oversight on our part for shorter guests! When it comes time to replace those sinks, we will make sure they are more user-friendly for our shorter guests!

Magnificent Magnolia Memories!

  • 5 of 5

This property is in the perfect location. We have been here before, but our guests were from Kentucky and wanted to see the sights. So close to everything, yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, this cozy, well stocked home affords you the best of both worlds.

The Magnificance of Magnolia Memories

  • 5 of 5

Every place we stayed was great and each was better than the previous one. Magnolia Memories was the last stay on our trip and it was wonderful.

The house is very nicely decorated, comfortable, well supplied, good internet and TVs and the location was great. A very quiet and safe neighbor which is conveniently located. It was very easy to get to downtown Seattle to see all the sights. Magnolia has a little village of shops and restaurants that looks interesting and has a Starbucks. Also, on 34th going north is a very nice grocery store with many upscale products.

Did not get to go to Magnolia Park which looks like a nice place to have a picnic and go down to the shoreline for a stroll.

I definitely recommend Magnolia Memories and would definitely come back to it.

We'll keep coming back!

  • 5 of 5

This is our 2nd stay at Magnolia Memories and hope it stays a vacation rental forever. The location is absolutely perfect for us. Close to the library, Catholic Church, Whole Foods, and Saturday Farmers Market. It's relatively close to downtown Seattle but it feels a world away when you're here. So quiet and peaceful. And it's genuinely dog friendly. Thanks and we hope to visit again soon.
