Our professionally decorated, 2 BR, 2.5 Bath Windswept Lakeside Townhouse on Kiawah Island, South Carolina, is appointed with Hardwood floors on the 1st floor, and new carpet on the 2nd floor. The villa has its own driveway and Covered Parking under the townhouse with additional parking spaces in front. The 1st floor has a fully equipped Kitchen, Living Room with queen size sleeper sofa, Media Alcove with HD LCD television, Dining Room with seating for 6, deck overlooking Night Heron Lake and Powder Room. The 2nd floor has two large ensuite bedrooms. The King-bed master has a completely remodeled bath with walk-in, tiled shower. The other bedroom has 2 Twin beds and a newly renovated bathroom with tub/shower combo. Each bedroom has a TV & DVD player.

This villa is close to Kiawah's beautiful 10 mile beach and Night Heron Park, Bike Shop, Nature Center, East Beach Village & the Sanctuary hotel. Why Fran & Jim Tucker chose Kiawah Island

We fell in love with Kiawah after vacationing on the island with friends in 1987. After that trip we introduced our extended family to Kiawah and came as often as possible, staying in the Old Inn, rental villas and homes. Leaving was always difficult, and we wished for the day when we could have a place at Kiawah to call our own. Now we enjoy sharing our little slice of Kiawah heaven so other families can make memories here. We appreciate the security of gated access, the 10 miles of flat, sandy beach, the amazing emphasis placed on preservation of wildlife, flora and fauna, the respectful architectural planning that continues to allow Kiawah's natural beauty to be the real showcase, and of course, the bike paths. We love our biking adventures at Kiawah even 25 years after our first visit, because while getting great exercise we are able to safely explore the island's nooks and crannies, taking in fabulous scenery and every year discovering more of the island's hidden gems.

What makes this villa unique

When we walk through our front door and see the serene view of Night Heron Lake we feel immediately relaxed. Our villa affords great views of the lake and the comings and goings of other visitors across the bridge that spans the lake. Our book and game collection is a favorite with our rental guests. Visitors agree that the two story layout of the Windswept Lakeside townhouses is the best they can find on Kiawah, with the living areas downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs. Guests also appreciate the first floor powder room - a unique feature in these townhomes. Covered parking is a great bonus in the hot summer months!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The villa and island both were so quiet and relaxing! We only wished we could have stayed longer! We were very happy with the villa...it had everything we needed. My parents were able to come down Friday night and enjoyed it as well. We all loved the key system! It was an absolutely perfect location as far as proximity to the start and finish lines of the race. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful place to stay!

Lovely week at Kiawah

We spent a lovely week at Kiawah. The location of our unit was close enough to the beach so that it was easy to come and go during the day. The porch overlooking the lagoon was located on the north side of the unit so it enjoyed shad during most of the day. The condo itself was perfect for our family of four and contained all the essentials necessary for a vacation at the beach. The updated master bath was just right and reflected the attention to comfort that the owners have in their home. It was a delight working with the owner who was anxious to answer all questions and accommodated our request for a change in the days rented when the unit became available earlier. We would certainly consider renting from this owner again.

Excellent rental

We were extremely pleased with our stay here this summer. The location of this unit is ideal, with a short walk to the beach or to Night Heron Park. The deck off the back overlooking the lagoon is small but delightful. The furnishings and beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. We also appreciated having access to beach chairs, as it saved lugging our own. The owner is one of the best I have worked with; very thorough and responsive. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Simply wonderful!

I'm not one for writing reviews but my experience was so great I had to share! This condo is fantastic, we are a family of 4 with two young children and this our third year coming to Kiawah. The layout was perfect, the rooms are a generous size and the bathrooms were perfect! The master bedroom had a very comfortable king bed, and the updated bathroom was beautiful. After a long day on the beach it was so nice being able to shower under great water pressure! There were so many small touches throughout the condo that gave off the vibe of a well loved home! You can tell the owners were very much family people and enjoyed making other families welcomed. Upon arrival the unit was immaculate and had many essentials available: well stocked kitchen, plates, utensils, cookware, fantastic blender (for piña coladas) and great appliances. Nice sized dining table and large living room. The back porch was a lovely serene place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning overlooking the lagoon. For those concerned with distance to the beach it really was a short walk across a parking lot to the entrance to the walkway. We have 2 small children so we definitely travel with lots of "gear" to the beach so we appreciated the manageable walk. The owner was also so great to work with! Very responsive throughout the whole process and even provided a nice text upon arrival to check in that everything met our standard. Overall this was a wonderful condo and we definitely be renting again.

Great Property in Windswept

Kiawah Island is a special place and this villa puts you close to both the beach and park. Very nice and well equipped. Only minutes to walk to the beach. Fran is great to work with, provides great communication and responds quickly. Our family would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fabulous Villa!

We celebrated Christmas 2015 at this villa - it was perfect! The owners were very quick to respond and answer any questions we had. Upon arrival we found everything to be exactly as pictured and described in their listing. The villa was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The location is beautiful and just a short walk to the beach, which we enjoyed a couple of times during our stay since it was unseasonably warm. The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would gladly recommend to any friends that we know are looking to visit the Kiawah area!

Our choice for nine years!

We've had many happy times at this villa and it's so easy to come back to! We are never disappointed by the clean, comfortable, cheerful surroundings and always love the surprise of the season's special updates. The beautiful Kiawah beach is just a short walk away. Off the back deck is a serene lagoon that offers a relaxing natural spot any time of day. Bike trails are all around making it easy for family members to explore together. Owners have a support team on call and always available. Already the family's been invited for season ten at this villa!
