About Ciro Ramirez
My wife and I have a large family and love to entertain! Weekend parties are always expected. There's always lots of kids around the house enjoying the pool, boat, swings or just running around the 1/4 acre lot!
Ciro Ramirez purchased this House in 2015
Why Ciro Ramirez chose Anglers Park
We purchased 'los Cayos' because we love to fish, both deep sea and the flats. Snorkeling, Scuba diving and boating is just minutes away. John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park is conveniently across the street!
What makes this House unique
Our vacation home in Key Largo is conveniently close enough and far enough from real life! Just 1 hour drive from Miami. We love to hang out by the pool while listening to music and having family & friends over for a cook out. We also enjoy boating, fishing and water sports within minutes of our dock!

Perfect location, awesome outdoor living
The location of this home is perfect, the outdoor living space and the pool were our favorite spots. We have booked again for next year! With that being said, there are a few things that could be improved for future rental guests. The full size bed in the second bedroom is terribly uncomfortable for two adults, probably ok for one. The master bed and twin beds are much more comfortable. The lighting in the living and dining area is almost non existent.
We do love the property and the owner was very responsive and easy to deal with.
Lovely house in an area with lots to do and see.
The Good The Bad and The Ugly
-Lots of space under house to hang out
-Pool Boy is Incompetent:Owner will tell you not to worry about the pool, but if anything happens, HE WILL BLAME YOU. My advise: check filter on Day 1 & make the pool boy print out a pool sample every time he comes. Keep documentation and take pics if necessary. During our stay, the pool was getting cloudy, even though we were netting it 2-3 times per day. We informed the owner when his pool guy did not show, and the pool guy told us he was in contact with the owner. Despite this, the problem continued. By the time we realized the filter was so old and dirty it was not working, our stay was almost over. We still used our money to put chlorine in the pool and bought a $70 filter. But it was too late, the owner blamed us &took $200 out of our deposit. BOTTOM LINE:Pool was never circulating from day 1 &filter needed to be changed: had nothing to do with us.
-DOGS:There is a significant PET FEE & CLEANING FEE, the owner still took $75 out of our deposit because he found dog hair in the house & a couple poops in the yard. Our dogs did NO damage to his house. FYI:You will have to be out of the house by 10 am on your last day & the owner is very pushy about this. It makes it extremely difficult to make the house spotless by 10 AM, when you're also moving out. However, in our case, we did sweep, vacuum & went around the yard picking up poop. Clearly, that was not good enough for the owner.
-AC:The air conditioning did not work when we got there. We had to wait hours for the owner to respond through email, which is the only form of communication. He did finally respond and the problem was fixed.
-Garbage:Owner has the wrong days posted, trash was not picked up, very annoying. Cans in horrible shape
-Wood stairs:Very slippery when wet. 1 step had hole in it, beware if you own a pet
-Picnic Table:Rotten with rusty nails, collapsed when I sat down. Very dangerous
-Mold:Bathroom vents covered in bad mold. Felt unhealthy using bathroom.
-Grill:INOPERABLE. Had to get our own.
Owner is not a man of his word
-Said he would replace grill: NEVER DID
-Don't worry about Pool: LIE
-Said we put 3 dogs in pool: LIE, only 1, as agreed
-Told us we were lying about the mold in bathroom, he never even looked
-Mailed our deposit check 1 week later than promised
When dealing with this kind of guy,you have to be petty. Document & Take pics.
Nice location, very peaceful on the canal. We saw manatees and rented paddle boards
had a lovely time going through the canal. The two person kayak was fun but no life vest. Pool was nice to relax in to escape the heat. The bulkhead had no ladder so depending on the tide getting into/out was difficult. It would have been nice for the upstairs deck to be screened in so we could have spent more time outside eating and enjoying the view, due to the mosquitoes we had to limit our time on the deck.
The house sleeps 7 but only had 2 washcloths and no hand towels, so we purchased some and left them for the next guest. The shower curtain in the bathroom had mildew, it looked like it had never been cleaned so we bought cleaner- now it looks new. The master bath had a huge soaking tub but a tiny 4x4 shower, I am a petite woman and kept hitting my elbows, plus no ledge to shave your legs.
There are TV in all the bedrooms but the only one that works is in the master bedroom. There are technically 4 bedrooms but the 4th is more of an office and no closet.
The wifi was weak and intermittent. Now for the biggest complaint the floors are so disgusting dirty!!!
After walking from the kitchen to the living room the bottom of our feet were black from the floors. No we did not go outside then back in. It was so bad that we had to wear socks inside the house and then we threw away the socks because of the grime. The house could use some TLC.
The hammock was broken before we arrived from the previous guest so we could not enjoy that, there are no reclining chairs by the pool, the wooden picnic table is on its last leg, and the grill has seen better days.
There was trash in the garbage cans at the street when we arrived and the days listed for pickup were incorrect. The garbage cans need to be replaced.
While we were there the towel rack fell -it was not anchored into the drywall. I sent a text to the owner as an FYI. We had taken the key to the house and were not able to let his repair man in that day, so the owner stated that the cost would be deducted from our deposit. Because "it was damaged after your arrival". After some discussions and pictures the owner had a new attitude and asked when would be a convenient time for the repair man to come by. I thought is was great that he wanted to fix the problem as soon as possible, but it was my vacation and why should I be inconvenienced. There is a reason for a check out time of 10am and check in time at 4pm.
Beautyful home. All the amenities you could ask for. Great location across from a state park
beautiful house with a pool
house was beautiful, very clean, plenty of parking, kitchen had all appliances, 2 decks, plenty of seating, inside and out, great location.
we didn't get to spend the entire booked stay as our flights were cancelled due to weather and we couldn't get down until 2 and a half days later.
My adult children loved the house, hanging out at night after a long day at the beach/ocean/snorkling/jet skis/paddle boards,on the patio next to the pool.Theres a pool table, although only one cue was good, fridge on the patio so no running upstairs for beverages, Id love to book it again next year, hopefully the airlines and traffic on us 1 cooperate with us our next visit.
