Perfect relaxing comfortable location for your vacation, Stunning views, Safe

Best location in the complex, bar none! The builder of Sapphire Village retained this condo as his own because of the central location. Corner unit, with just five steps to the parking area it's easy to access everything St Thomas has to offer. Just a stroll to stunning Sapphire Beach (we provide chairs, snorkel gear, and a cooler) The condo is just steps from the main pool (there are 2) and the only full-service restaurant in all of Sapphire Bay, "Slice VI"

On the Beach, you will find the Sapphire Beach Bar which provides liquid refreshment and grilled sandwiches along with live entertainment.

Parasailing and jet skis are available at the marina along with out-island and BVI excursions. The rental shed on the beach has all manner of beach toys.

Red Hook is just 1 mile from the condo and has dozens of restaurants, bars and shops, along with Moe's Market for and the Ferry to St.

The islands are recovering well from last year’s two hurricanes, the power and private high-speed internet is working at 98% with occasional outages the norm. I have a service call pending on the TV and landline phone for late March. Cell service is working at about 85% I’d estimate, ATT, Verizon and Sprint are doing the best job - other carriers often include the USVI in calling plans but it's a good idea to check your plan.

The condo is close to the beach, condo office, pool, restaurant, lending library, outdoor shower, mail room, marina services and laundry. Close to everything but still quiet and private in-condo high-speed wireless network. I-pod dock and Bluetooth stereo speaker, flat screen Hi-def TV, DVD, in-room safe and custom coded keyless entry. End unit is especially nice because nobody will be disturbing you by walking by your door. End unit porches also have a side window for more light and air flow. The bathroom was remodeled in 2013. All new kitchen and living room tile in 2014. Extensive furniture upgrades and new bed 2016.

The condo overlooks a quiet marina with stunning down-island views of St. John, the BVI and many other smaller islands. Watch the yachts come and go while lounging on your private balcony or take a short 1500 foot stroll to beautiful world-renowned Sapphire Beach AND THE NEW FOR 2017 SAPPHIRE BEACH BAR by the St Thomas Restaurant Group - search the web for SBBVI. Our dual air conditioned walk-in level condo sleeps four with a king-size bed in the bedroom and a pullout queen in the living area. We also supply an electric airbed if guests #3 & 4 don’t appreciate sharing the same bed. The kitchen is reasonably stocked and there is seating for 6 at the teak dining table. Linens are included as well as beach towels, snorkel gear and an outing cooler.

Sapphire village offers two pools, one just steps from your door alongside - SLICE VI CRAFT PIZZA & CAFÉ. The marina offers almost every Water Sport under the sun from BVI or sunset cruise to fishing, para-sailing. Popular charter options include Yachts: Breakaway, New Horizons and New Horizons II or choose a half or full day fishing charter with Double Header or on Abigail III with Captain Red Bailey. Red hook is less than a mile down the road with boutiques, numerous restaurants, a grocery store and the ferry to nearby St. John.

Summers are a great time to visit, crowds are light, the beaches are delightful and the weather is near perfect. Even in the heat of summer, the V.I. has never recorded a temperature over 99 degrees. Give the V.I. a visit in the offseason, you will not regret it. We now also offer a newly remodeled marina front studio with many similar features just 75 feet away in the neighboring building "Sweet Sapphire Beach Studio for 2" as well as "Afton Station Cottage" in the Blue Ridge Mountains near our home. The location of Sapphire Village is unbeatable and this unit is the jewel in the crown. Having the reputation as "The Builders Unit" and considering my personal history with Sapphire Village (stretching back to 30+ years) I knew this unit to be the standard by which all other units in the complex were to be measured.

I'd decided to make the plunge and arrived on-island with a short list of units to view. After completing my last tour I asked my agent if there was anything else new and he mentioned that he had just signed the listing the day before. I asked to see it but he didn't think it was worth viewing since it hadn't been occupied in 2 years. I pressed on, the place was indeed a mess but I soon had an accepted offer and the rest brings us here.

What makes this condo unique

• The view from the deck

• Proximity to one of the finest beaches in the V.I.

• The water-sports opportunities at your doorstep.

• The proximity to all Red Hook has to offer: restaurants, bars, shops, market, and the St. John Ferry.

• Free parking

• No resort fees

• Mixed use property – there are year-round residents as well as short-term residents living in Sapphire Village so you often mingle with locals, returning guests, snow-birds and vacationers. It’s not a resort, it’s very laid back. If your style is to impress or be pampered please look elsewhere.

• Safe and secure, at a minimum there is nighttime security on duty and full-time security details on weekends. Sapphire Village is part of a large complex that includes Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina, Sapphire House and Crystal Cove (a.k.a. Sapphire West).

• Charlotte Amalie, a.k.a. "Town" is 7 miles west of the condo and is worth a visit for its famous shopping or to view historical architecture.

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our vacation in St. Thomas and staying in your condo. We really appreciated all you did for us. The condo had all the amenities anyone could want and more. We went back to Latitude 18 Saturday night to see Jason Jones again as we loved his music. We went sailing with Maxine on "Lou" as recommended and did some snorkeling at Hawksnest Bay. We shopped at Havensight Mall for gifts to take home and checked out a few more beaches, Lindquist, Magens, Secret Harbour and did lots of relaxing.

The day before we left, we saw a deer jump off the end of the marina and swim to shore just to the right of the condo. Dean figured it was a sign that's it's time to go back home, although I disagreed.

  • Shower only - no tub. Hair dryer included. There is also fresh water shower alongside the pool 50 feet away from the condo entrance. Perfect for getting the sand off or rinsing the free snorkel gear.

Key-less custom entry, room safe. I-Pod Dock with mini-stereo, A few sets of fins/masks and snorkels, beach chairs and towels. This is a middle level unit which is the walk-in level of all of Sapphire Village. There is one set of five stairs to access this level. On Site Restaurant and Bar just steps away along side the main Pool.

The property was amazing. Photos are not deceiving, it looks just like that! The host, Tom, is great. Very responsive, helpful, great recommendations, very accessible. Being on the marina was great for boat trips to island hop, and the proximity to Red Hook made this a very attractive place to stay...not to mention a gorgeous beach only a few minutes walk around the corner. This unit and this host is top notch!

My husband and I stayed for 9 days on our first trip to the Virgin Islands. To say this condo has everything you need would be an understatement! It has everything you need for the beach including chairs, towels and even snorkeling gear. The condo itself has all the comforts of home....but the location is what is so's a corner unit and totally private....none of the other condos can see into yours, including the lanai where we had breakfast every morning! We loved this unit and when we return would definitely stay here again. Tom was easily the easiest and most helpful owner I have ever dealt with when renting a vacation condo!

I never experienced anything but a corner unit for years (my mom's studio in the neighboring Saba building is also a corner) so I just took it for granted. Wonderful, peaceful, relaxing, comfortable

This was our third trip to St Thomas and Jackie and Tom's condo was our favorite! This condo had the most comfortable bed, best and most functional kitchen, and a beautiful view of the harbor. My wife and I really liked having a separate bedroom from the rest of the condo. We enjoyed watching boats coming and going from the balcony. Great snorkeling at the beautiful Sapphire Beach was only a five minute relaxing walk. We were also fortunate to meet the owners Jackie and Tom while in St Thomas and found them very helpful and lovely people. Without a doubt we would love to return to this wonderful condo!!

Excellent Getaway

Sapphire Village is a great location if you don't want the hustle and bustle of a city, but still want to be close to bars, restaurants and grocery stores. Tom's condo is clean, modern, fully stocked with kitchen appliances, bedding, towels, water sports gear etc. It is easy to access from the street and offers a stunning view across the marina to various islands. The restaurant Slice and pool are across the street as is a laundry facility. Sapphire Beach is a short walk away with sandy beach, beach bar with food as well as live entertainment when a ship is in port. A taxi can take you to Red Hook for supplies and night life and easy access by ferry to St John. Tom stayed in touch the whole time, answering any questions and helping with directions and information on the area. Definitely want to return to Tom's condo and stay longer this time!

Sorry we missed you, we arrived the day you left - thanks for the cold brews etc. they were much appreciated and you are certainly most welcome to return again. Your mentioning the new SliceVI restaurant at the pool is appreciated too – thanks. It was nice not having to run off the property for dinner that first night. I thought the calamari was super! There’s another new spot at the neighboring property called Lime Garden Lounge and Restaurant that we also enjoyed and the new Sapphire Beach Bar. They provided some live music on a couple days – they also had some decent grilled burgers, hot-dogs and chicken sandwiches. I don’t get down much in season myself but after this trip maybe I should change that routine.

Great Condo. Great View.

The condo had everything to make our stay wonderful. The view was great. The VI Slice cafe next to the pool was friendly and food delicious. We took the dollar bus into town many times to sample other restaurants and explore other parts of the island. One bit of warning - don't go into Charlotte Amalie on Monday - all the historic sites are closed.
