Exceeded all my expectations

This was our first time using VRBO to rent a property, and Carrie made the experience completely smooth and painless. She was very responsive from our very first inquiry to followup after our vacation was over. The condo itself is in a great location and is well-maintained. Being a corner unit, we didn't have any foot traffic or noise from the neighbors. The deck opens up to a magnificent view of the mountains. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the essentials for preparing meals. The appliances are all new, the fridge was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and extra blankets (though we didn't need them). Our kids loved the bunk bed. We skied at A Basin for 3 days, and found the drive to the slopes to be a direct shot up Rt. 6 in about 20 minutes. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Amazing stay, and excellent owner.

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was great. The owner was very accommodating to setting up the reservation and helping us out with a different check-out time due to our travel arrangements. The location was amazing, with beautiful views, and wildlife just out the window. I would highly recommend this to anyone else interested in staying. We had a total of 6 people that stayed, and there was plenty of room to sleep, etc. The kitchen was spacious, and there was plenty of cookware provided to make good meals. There were no real complaints about the trip. I will be contacting the owner on our next return to the area.

Stayed in the condo when my family (wife two boys 9 & 12, and don't forget my mother in law)went skiing at Copper Mt.

~ Close to ski resorts

~Clean, updated, great beds.

~2 bathrooms was great

~Foxes came up to the back deck each night, great hiking trails 20 steps from the door.

~Will stay again.

~~The one wish I would have is more info on what the condo has, like where is the pool and how do you get inside of the pool. Who do you call if you had an issue (had no issues)

Centrally located for a great ski Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here in mid January and had a great time. Condo is about 8 minutes up in the foothills of Silverthorne. Skied at Keystone (20 minute drive), Breck (30 minute drive), and Vail (40 minute drive). Great views from condo, good kitchen for cooking. Had some noisy neighbors above us for the first 2 nights, but otherwise stay was perfect. Host was accommodating and assisted when I had to add additional dates after travel plans changed. Would stay again. Had one person in the Master bedroom and 2 in the bunk bed room and had plenty of space.

Beautiful View

  • 5 of 5

The condo was exactly what we were looking for - clean, well stocked, grill, comfy bed, two nice size bathrooms (stocked with extra towels). The view from the balcony is breathtaking especially while enjoying a cup of morning coffee. The living room furniture looks brand new and is very comfortable in particular for afternoon naps after very busy mornings (hot air ballooning at 7 am or whitewater rafting at 8 am).

The listing and pictures are accurate and the directions provided were clear. We had no issue finding the condo. Also, the location of the condo within Wildernest was far enough away from the highway that we were not bothered by any noise/traffic at all. It was very peaceful and quiet. Owners were easy to work with and communication was excellent.

Also, Silverthorne is a great location for driving access to many popular areas (we visited Breckenridge, Vail, Royal Gorge Park, Red Rocks).

I would definitely recommend this wonderful condo!

My family and I just returned from a stay in this condo. We couldn't be happier!

The location is perfect - Dillon, Frisco, Silverthorne, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Vail - all within a very short drive. We went on two hikes during our stay. There are several trail heads incredibly close to this condo - some less than half a mile away!

The condo itself is perfect. There is plenty of room and nice furniture throughout. The owners clearly treat this as a second home and not an "income property" as you sometimes find, where there is a lack of pride in ownership. Little details go a long way - such as nightlights if you find the need for them - and with two young kids, we found the need :)

Speaking of the kids - our youngest is still crawling. There is nothing WORSE than going on vacation and being scared to let your child crawl around on the floor where you are staying. We are quite familiar with this, as it happened a few months ago in a hotel. That was not the case in this condo - it was EXTREMELY clean and our youngest had fun "exploring" his new home!

The views are AMAZING. When the listing says "unobstructed views" it really delivers! The views from the deck and the master bedroom windows cannot be beat! There are even some paths behind the condo to explore.

Restaurants and shopping are within a couple minutes, yet the condo feels secluded and truly delivers a "Rocky Mountain" experience.

We will be back!
