This 2000 sq. ft., beautifully furnished, spacious home on ground level, has 9' ceilings, and maple hardwood floors. Open gourmet kitchen, living and dining room with ocean views. Great location, very good property, and helpful people
This was out 4th visit, coming from Scotland, which speaks for itself. Every year we say "we really should try somewhere new" and then come back to Sidney. The property is roomy, comfortable, and well-equipped, and George, the friendly and helpful manager is always available to deal with any minor issues. The view is stunning (the name says it all) and there is a pleasant, level, walk to the town with a good number of places to eat. The Saanich peninsula and surrounding area are beautiful, and Victoria is a short drive away. The property is close to Victoria airport and the ferry to Tsawassen for Vancouver or to Anacortes for Washington State. There are also other ferries to the Gulf Islands. Perfect location for a relaxing holiday, and one to be recommended

Absolutely beautiful week in Sydney!!
The house was perfect..every amenity you could imagine and easy walk to town. Enjoyed kayaking with seals, whale watching and coffee on the patio watching the sunrise. Great place to relax. George was helpful with great vacation tips
It was like winning the jackpot when we discovered 9472 Lochside Drive .Everything about Sunrise on the Sea is spectacular. The house is in within easy walking distance from the centre of town and just steps away from an amazing sea walk.The gourmet kitchen is well equipped with top of the line cooking utensils. Lila , Les and George were very helpful in assisting us with our early arrival. We had no problem in deciding on booking for the same six week period next year.

Everything we could have hoped for, and then some!
This property is exactly as described - Spectacular! The purpose of our visit was to cycle the beautiful Lochside and Galloping Goose trails. We had 18 wonderful days of cycling, and came "home" every day to superb 5 star accommodations. Spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. And best of all, the view! Close to shopping and great restaurants in Sidney. Wish we were able to stay longer. We'll be back!

This was our 3rd year at Sunrise on the Sea. The accommodation and location is outstanding. The unit is within easy walking distance along the shore to the centre of town with restaurants, coffee shops, cinema and grocery stores.
Our hosts Lila & Les and manager George as always are very accommodating.

Great Vacation Rental Home!
We greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful rental home! The booking process was smooth and stress-free and upon arrival George was there to greet us and show us around the property even though it was later in the evening. The house was extremely clean and updated and everything we needed was there.
The location made for an easy walk to downtown and the views from the property were spectacular!
From start to finish the rental process was handled in a very professional manner and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

SUNRISE ON THE SEA RENTAL CONTRACT THIS RENTAL AGREEMENT between Lila Kerr (the “Owner”) and the “Guest”. IN CONSIDERATION of the rental reserved and the covenants and agreements here in after provided for, the Owner and the Guest hereby agree as follows: 1. RENTAL AND TERM. The owner hereby rents to the Guest and the Guest hereby rents from the Owner the private dwelling-house (the “Premises”) known as Sunrise on the Sea in Sidney- short term vacation rental located at 9472 Lochside Drive Sidney, British Columbia for the term agreed upon. Check in is at 4PM the residence is to be departed by 10:00AM on the last day, unless prior arrangements are made. 2. TOTAL CHARGES. The rental amount is based on the time of year booked, refer to the rates on the listing. All rentals are in Canadian Dollars and inclusive of tax. The Guest shall pay to the Owner at least 50% of the total amount at time of booking. The deposit of 50% along with the signed rental contract must be received before the rental unit will be secured for your reservation. The balance owing of the rent, cleaning fee of $250.00 and refundable Security Deposit of $500.00 is due no later than 45 days prior to arrival. 3. PAYMENT OPTIONS. The various payments can be made via Electronic Transfer (Canadian Residents only), certified cheque, money order, bank draft or wire transfer payable to Lila KERR. A reminder will be given however it is your responsibility to provide and make final payment at least 45 days prior to your arrival date.
