Our 2nd time here

  • 5 of 5

This is one cabin we will keep coming back to. It's so cozy, the layout is open and inviting. The trails are only one street over. The fireplace, the incredibly soft sheets and comfortable beds, the heated blankets, and the bay windows...all amazing. The kitchen is well stocked for those who love cooking. It's so quiet and the neighbors are kind. The water is nice and hot and there are plenty of towels. I think anyone and everyone would love this cabin. I know we do ❤

Great Cabin, one of the best neighborhoods in Big Bear!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was perfect. The cabin is clean, comfortable and has an amazing location. Just steps from the forest where we went sledding and hiking with the kids. The open kitchen and living room is a great space to hang out. We can't wait to go back.

Great weekend stay!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great experience staying at this cabin! We traveled on one to stormiest weekends of the season and had a tough time making it up to Big Bear, but Anna made everything so easy for us once we finally did make it! She was extremely easy to communicate with and had everything ready for us when we arrived. The cabin fit 9 adults comfortably and we had plenty of space. Anna was also very accommodating, and allowed us a later check out time as half of our party were unable to make it up the mountain our first night due to the weather and road closures. We would definitely stay here again!

Wish we could have stayed longer!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin has absolutely ALL the comforts of home: electric blankets on the beds, toiletries in the bathrooms, lots of entertainment (videos, books, games, cards), a fully stocked kitchen with coffee, sugar, creamer, etc. The fireplace is lovely and our whole family enjoyed resting in front of the fire and spending relaxing, quality time together. The beds were all super comfortable and we all slept really well. The owner (Anna) responds to questions right away, and it's clear that she's outfitted this cabin to feel just like home.

The location is great. It's in a quiet neighborhood, near other homes. This was a plus for us because my son found other kids to play with nearby. They had fun having a snowball fight right outside. The cabin is only a few minutes from shops and restaurants.

This was our first trip to Big Bear and we were surprised at how crowded things were in town with all the tourists. It was very difficult getting into a restaurant due to the crowds. Luckily, this cabin has nearly every kitchen gadget one could ever need for preparing pretty much any dish. The next time we visit, we will avoid the restaurants and just buy groceries at the Von's nearby so that we can cook for ourselves.

We very much enjoyed our visit. As far as we can tell, this cabin had only two downsides. There was no cell service there, and I wish we had known that ahead of time. I suspect this is fairly common in Big Bear. The cabin does have a landline and free Wi-Fi, but my teen daughter was not happy about missing text messages from her friends. Secondly, the interior walls are quite thin so it was difficult to move around without disturbing the others that were sleeping. Next time we'll bring white noise generators for quieter sleeping.

All in all, I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a comfortable, restful place to stay in Big Bear.
