Why Bill & Lisa chose Olympic Peninsula & Pacific Coast

There is so much to do in Port Townsend and The Olympic National Park, including hiking, beach combing, festivals, golf, wineries, art galleries, antique shops and craft beer pubs. Port Townsend hosts the famous Wooden Boat Festival, The Jazz Festival and the quirky Kinetic Festival. Our town is a great place for relaxing, enjoying fine restaurants or beach walking. The house is 10-15 minutes away from Fort Worden, which is popular with visitors because of the beach. Port Townsend is part of the Olympic Rain Shadow/Banana Belt. Cities inside this area enjoy more sunshine and less rain than the rest of the Northwest. And Port Townsend is the perfect home base to enjoy day trips to the San Juan Islands, Sequin, Olympic National Park, the Hoh Rain Forest and Forks.

What a lovely setting. The house was charming and in a quiet wooded area. Convenient to Port Townsend and other surrounding areas. We had a great time and took advantage of all there was to offer. It was great to come back to a beautiful and warm home. The hosts made sure everything was wonderful. So happy we found this place and will stay here again.
