This exquisite property has marble floors, granite and marble baths and full service kitchen. Kitchen features Stainless Steel Appliances, Microwave, Oven, Keurig Coffee Maker, Expresso Coffee Maker, Toaster Oven, Blender, All cookware, glassware, dishes, and cutlery. Fresh towels and linens.

Each bedroom has a flat screen TV plus a large flat screen and DVD player in the living room. Kids will enjoy an XBox 360 and a Wii console, Wii Fit with a large selection of games and DVD's. Also enjoy family board games and puzzles.

Take in the magnificent views of ocean and intracoastal while relaxing on the balcony with plenty of seating. Enjoy gourmet dining at 'Shula's Steakhouse', or informal poolside dining and bar service at the Tiki bar. Free high speed internet usage.

Clean comfortable and a great deal on the Beach!

We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The unit is very clean. Well-maintained. This is a good -sized two bedroom condo in the Alexander on Collins. It's Mid-Beach in "Condo Canyon." The photos of the unit are very accurate. The two bedrooms are a master suite and bedroom with its own bathroom. The kitchen was well-stocked with basic spices and cooking utensils. There's an ample sized dining table.

The common areas of the Alexander are a little outdated and tired, but the condo itself is very very nice. At this moment, I'd give the Hotel two stars, but the condo itself is very nice.

The beach is refreshing due to the fact that it's not swarmed by people as South Beach is. There's a lounge chair and umbrella rental on the beach adjacent to the Alexander. The rental is good for the entire day. $10 lounge and $15 umbrella.

The Alexander Hotel is undergoing construction in different areas to renovate it back to its former glory. The pool area on the south side of the building is totally under construction. This is 10 floors below the unit, but was never really disturbing to us.

The newly constructed balcony is very nice. All work on refurbishing the south side balconies is complete.

During construction access to the Pool and beach is through a circuitous service corridor. This was clean, but not your typical grand beach access. Still, once outside it's pure Miami Beach.

The upper pool is being rebuilt and is closed at this time. The lower pool is very nice and has two hot tubs adjacent. The pool was clean and there's a towel service, cabanas and a drink service.

Publix Grocery and Liquor is about one mile north. South Beach is about a mile south. There's a moderately well-stocked convenience store adjacent to the elevators.

Taxis, Ubers and Lyfts were easy. Even the Miami Public Bus was easy. The Trolley was free, but not really on schedule. We didn't park a car, but I heard it was spendy.

Overall it's a great deal and is right on the beach!

Disappointing but adequate.

Check in was a puzzle, as Security handles private rentals, but hotel handles Valet Parking. Hotel desk had no way to produce a receipt for parking, which had to be paid up front. Don't recall any mention of $25/day additional for parking.

Renovation is so extensive and presents challenges - hallways going to pool/beach are awful and very dirty, as are most common areas. Renovation has been progressing OVER a year,, again, NOT mentioned in add.

Unit was fair, needs paint. Kitchen counter was filthy - therefore only used Refrigerator, which was clean.

Master bath was dingy and could use a deep clean.

No instructions as to whether balcony was usable due to construction.

TV remote for LR didn't work, no remote in left bedroom.

Left Unit cleaner than I found it, trash removed.

Disappointing, but adequate.

Comfortable and spacious

The apartment had everything we needed to feel at home. It is spacious and comfortable and the kids enjoyed the wii games. The pools were great and assess to the beach is quick and easy. We used uber to get around it's fast and cheap, about $7 to get to South Beach. The only down side is that the building is going through renovations and they were working on our balcony and we were not able to use it. The owner did warn me that there was a possibility they may be working on the balcony but we still chose to stay at the apartment and did enjoy our stay.

Great Location

The location can't be beat, you are right on the beach which is hard to find. We were in the pool and the ocean every day (watch out for jellyfish). We rented jet skis right on the beach in front of the hotel, so much fun. The drinks at the pool bar are pricey. This is an owner unit so you don't have to bother with a lot of the hotel issues. The unit is very nice, a bit dated in the set up as in no fans in the bathrooms for moisture, but that in no way affected us. There was plenty of space for 5 of us, the owner responded super fast to questions. I recommend this unit for a nice getaway. You can't beat it.

We really enjoyed our stay. Balcony has a beautiful views. Loved the pools and hot tubs. Convenient access to the beach. Owner very nice and accommodating. Great stay.

The unit was very well appointed, clean and the views from the deck super nice. I was very happy with my stay overall. The only thing I would say is be prepared to pay alot for parking.

Owner's Response: Hi Meg, Thanks for your review and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. As far as the parking is concerned that function is managed by the hotel and completely out of the private owners hands. The current rate of $26 per night is far below what other hotels charge in the area. However to make up for that we do not charge any state taxes (currently at 7%) which is a mandatory charge if you were to book directly through the hotel. Hotel guests are also charged the $26 per night parking plus a $15 per day resort fee before taxes. That can really add up. We do not charge taxes nor resort fees. Plus as I indicated to you via email another perk of booking with us is the ability to check in early. Your unit was ready the day of your arrival and you did not have to wait until 4:00 PM to check in. Also I offered you a late checkout as well (up to 5:00 PM) which really lets you get the most out of your stay. Overall there is a lot more value to be gained by booking our private rental even if you do have to pay for the parking. Unfortunately parking is limited at most Miami Beach hotels. There is however a public lot 2 doors from the hotel which I believe I had mentioned that would have saved you some money as well. Best Regards
