The property was amazing, as was the view. Only downfall not all of the Jets in the hot tub worked.

The beds, view, kitchen was excellent. I would definitely stay here again if we ever go back.

Owner's Response: Thanks for staying with us. I suspect the water level may have been a bit low or that one of the diverters on tub was switched off. Glad you enjoyed the view and your stay! Dennis & Jen LeFevre

Great little cabin. Cozy and warm with everything you need.

  • 5 of 5

We came in the back way from Denver and it was kinda scary because of the lack of civilization and extremely windy mountain roads but eventually we got to Woodland Park and breathed a sigh of relief. There's a good grocery store there where you can get anything you need. The altitude (roughly 9,500 ft) proved to be a bit too much for me and I felt strange the whole time but the cabin was nice and clean and relaxing. We grilled out steaks and were able to keep the place nice and warm with the fire wood provided. Thanks!! The hot tub was lovely but the water didn't cover all the jets so it sent water spraying if you turned on the jets. It was nice and hot though and definitely a must-have item for that area. We could hear wildlife at night while we relaxed in the hot tub under the stars.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy getaway to the mountains (who isn't a wuss like me and can handle higher altitudes 😜). It was a great stay.

My advice to anyone traveling here who doesn't know the area - plug the address into your gps before heading out that way because cell service isn't guaranteed up there or along the way but your gps (maps) will continue to work even if you lose cell service and that way you won't get lost.

Thanks for letting us stay at your place!

Owner's Response: Hi Rebecca. Sorry the altitude affected you. It is important to drink more water than you normally do since the body has to work harder and dehydrates faster at altitude. Coming in the back way from Denver is a pretty drive, and your advice on the GPS is correct that it will continue to work, even if you'd on't have good cell service. Dennis & Jen LeFevre

Wonderful and unforgettable experience!

  • 4 of 5

This cabin was perfect for what we had planned in CO! It's just on the outskirts of town and so incredibly peaceful. We were only a short drive from all the different things there are to see in this area. The views were phenomenal and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I rated it a 4 because the last guests trash was piled high in the closet near the kitchen and the hot tub was a bit dirty so we didn't get to enjoy it much. We were far too busy exploring anyways! Overall one of the best group trips I've experienced! Thank you Dennis!

Owner's Response: We like the location, also! The recycling in the closet can get out of control, occasionally, but it and the hot tub have been remedied. Thanks for staying with us! Dennis & Jen LeFevre

Great get away

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed the cabin and hot tub very much! It was great that there was a dryer so we could dry our wet clothes and towels after sledding and hot tubbing. The cabin provided sleds for sledding right next to the house and firewood for the nice stove inside. Our only suggestion would be to offer a new griddle to cook on as it was old and the food stuck to it. Thanks for a great stay!
