Located on an old farm, is the small farm workers cottage overlooking the forest and fields. The house is divided into two parties and part of it is developed as a holiday apartment.
The front door of the apartment is at the back of the house with access to a small garden (in front of and behind the house). This offers the opportunity to sit outside on warm days or even to throw on the grill. In addition, there is a small shed in the bikes, fishing, surfing and diving equipment (etc.) Find a place.
On the ground floor of the apartment is the cozy kitchen, the large living room with fireplace and the small bathroom. If you follow the small, steep staircase up to the two bedrooms you always have a view of the surrounding fields. Just looking for walls and Bauhaus perfection here in vain, that's the charm of this old house.
The estate also includes a children's playground and barbecue area which may also be used. Forest, meadows and fields invite to walks or bike rides. The cycling and hiking trail to the Kiel Canal provides direct access to the world's busiest artificial waterway. Here you can watch the hustle and bustle of the anglers and big freighters or visit one of the best snacks in Schleswig-Holstein (Sehestedt).
If you appreciate peace and nature - away from highways and the big city bustle - and who likes to say hare and hedgehog "good night" outside the gates of Eckernfördes, this is the place for you.
All in all: A small fine apartment also for the narrower purse.
Gut Grünhorst is located on the edge of the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. Grünhorst is a district of the municipality Holtsee and is located about 2 km from the village center (incl. Cheese factory and village shop) away at the end of a little-traveled dead end.
The Eckernförde Bay - and thus the Baltic Sea - is not far away (about 11 km) and easy to reach by car or bicycle. Even larger cities such as Kiel (20 km) or Rendsburg (20 km) are not too far away and can be accessed quickly via rural and national roads.
