Great relaxing, restful time away!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I wanted a quiet and restful time away from the city. Serenity Views was just what we needed! Owners, Brian & Merilyn were very welcoming & friendly, as was their cat Dex. :)

Merilyn was knowledgeable on where to go in the area and what to see. She would answer us within minutes if we had any concerns or questions. The loft we stayed in was lovely, clean and had everything one would need. The view from our deck was beautiful! Our 2nd day there we were enjoying the peace and beauty outside when a Momma bear and her 2 cubs walked right by the deck about 30 feet away. The next morning another black bear was out front of the loft enjoying the foliage and looking about. We definitely look forward to returning next year and would easily recommend this vacation destination.

The Only improvement we would suggest is a bit firmer mattress or newer mattress.

Owner's Response: Thanks for choosing Serenity Views for your holiday, Paul and Glenda. It was a pleasure meeting you. Thanks also for sharing your bear video and pictures with us! We do not usually have many bears on our property, so you were fortunate to have seen that many! Sorry to hear that you found the bed too soft. It is fairly new, but it is a pillow-top mattress, which is not firm. Thanks for letting us know, though, as we try to please all of our guests to the best of our abilities. Best wishes, Brian and Marilyn

Perfect peaceful escape

  • 5 of 5

My Fiancé and I absolutely loved our stay at Serenity Views. The loft suite was clean and updated. Very comfortable for the two of us and our little pup. The trails on the property were nice and the rocky beach was gorgeous! Although Brian and Marilyn were absent during our stay, they were still very accommodating and made everything accessible to us. It's close to town and the hot springs but feels like you're in the middle of the wilderness. I would highly recommend Serenity Views.

Owner's Response: Hi Drake - We are pleased that you and your fiancé enjoyed your stay in the Studio Suite, and that you explored the property. Guests with dogs especially enjoy taking their pets for walks down to the lake, and if your dog enjoys swimming, it is a bonus! Sorry we were unable to meet you in person, but hopefully you will return for another visit and we will be able to meet you. Thanks for choosing Serenity Views! Brian and Marilyn

Naksup hot-tubbing trip.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a couple of nights during a quick hot springs vacation. The accommodations were fantastic and the owners were great hosts. The studio is a great space for a couple but large enough for a bigger group. Everything was very nice and the proximity to the lake was amazing. Overall it was a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get out of town and enjoy this beautiful area!

Ideal home base for exploring Nakusp area

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at the Studio Suite for a couple of days while on a tour exploring Nakusp and the Kootenay area. The suite was very quiet, right on the lake shore, and a short drive to the town centre and Nakusp Hot Spring. Marylin and Brian had provided everything we might need; the suite is clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. There is even a slow cooker! I got fresh organic vegetables from the farm market, loaded them into the slow cooker and voila, there's a hot delicious meal ready when we came back from a day of exploring the area and soaking in the hot spring! Wish we could stay longer. Will definitely be back to Serenity Views Studio Suite.
