This midcentury modern vacation house is located in Palm Springs' tranquil Little Beverly Hills neighborhood, and is situated directly along the Mesquite Golf & Country Club golf course. This rare protected view lot boasts spectacular, unobstructed views of the San Jacinto Mountains, as well as acres of palm trees that fill the grassy fairways of the award-winning PGA golf course out front.

The home showcases iconic angular desert Mid-Century Modern architecture, which includes an open concept floor plan, vaulted high ceilings, and unique exposed wood beams and natural ceiling planks. The floor-to-ceiling "walls of glass" create a bright, airy indoor ambiance that merge indoor living with the outdoor desert. Experience breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains from one side, and the tranquil, private garden and swimming pool oasis on the other.

The spacious home is thoughtfully appointed with new modernist furnishings inspired by famous midcentury modern designer icons. Highlights include an authentic Herman Miller Eames® Elliptical Table (popularly known as the 'Surfboard' coffee table), stylish yet comfortable living chairs, and raised modern beds with luxury mattresses and hotel quality linens in each bedroom.

The fully private and walled tropical back yard oasis features a large 'legacy size' swimming pool and a custom in-ground resort style jetted spa. Relax in chaise lounges underneath an island oasis of gently swaying palm trees and the tranquil sounds of the infinity waterfall that cascades into the pool.

A covered lanai spanning the length of the house provides available shade and features an outdoor dining table for alfresco dining. Why Michael & Scott chose Palm Springs

In 2008 a group of close friends from Seattle rented this delightful mid-century modern home for a winter escape from the rain and cold. We all fell instantly in love with the magical desert 'zen' that this home provided. Despite all the nearby attractions and activities, we found ourselves spending the majority of our four lazy days lounging by (and in!) the private pool, soaking up the sun, and grilling lunch and dinner poolside. At night we all enjoyed the wonderful sensation of slowly immersing ourselves into the jetted hot tub and gazing upwards at the stars. Three years later we discovered that this home was for sale. We didn't hesitate a second to purchase this vacation home for ourselves, families, and friends. As our guests, we trust you will have an equally memorable stay at our 'home away from home!'

What makes this house unique

This vacation home is located on a highly sought-after panoramic View Lot bordering the Mesquite Country Club PGA golf course. The dining, living, guest rooms, and private front yard feature completely unobstructed views of a beautifully landscaped PGA 18-hole golf course. In the backdrop, there are breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountain range. Just a few steps away is a meandering 4-mile looped paved walking/running/biking trail for energetic morning run, or a relaxing afternoon stroll shaded by palm trees.

Hidden Gem

Just returned home after a short stay at this house and we loved every moment. The house was spotlessly clean and updated, but had a few fun retro touches. The kitchen had every gadget, utensil and serving platter you'd ever want to prep, cook and bake (more than my own house!). The washer/dryer, and appliances are all superb. The beds are extremely comfortable (a first for us at a rental). The neighborhood is extremely quiet with a pathway and golf course just across the street. The views of the course and mountains from the house and pool were simply gorgeous. You don't see any of the neighboring homes from the property, so it feels like your own little private oasis. The pool and backyard are beautiful and were well-maintained. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Honestly, if we didn't already have another stay booked, I might have hesitated to write this review because we want to keep it our own secret! Thanks Michael and Scott--we are already counting the days for when come back!

Another Fantastic rental from Michael & Scott

This rental was wonderful! Private and beautiful backyard, spotless interior home with everything we needed to cook, drink and relax during our stay. I can't say enough about Michael - he responds in seconds to any questions. Only complaint is that the home wasn't available next year. Book early if you want to enjoy this little gem!

Exceptional Vacation Rental

This property and vacation experience were phenomenal! The owners are exceptionally responsive and readily available to answer questions. The property is spotless and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and bake. The washer and dryer are new. The pool is beautiful and well-maintained, and pool towels and chair covers were provided. The location is quiet and relaxing with a wonderful view. My family and I would visit Palm Springs again just so that we could stay in this house. Thank you, Michael and Scott for such a wonderful vacation experience!

A 5 star rating is simply not nearly good enough for this gorgeous and comfortable vacation rental. Over the last few years I’ve rented many nice homes around the country and I have never found a rental so perfectly and beautifully maintained as this one. Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) works and works perfectly. Situated in a very pleasant neighborhood on an extremely quiet street, the house is located just a few minutes drive from the Palm Springs Airport yet we never heard any airplane noise at all. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms and the kitchen were well designed and lovingly renovated, and the living room was welcoming and comfortable. During our week there, we especially enjoyed the perfectly heated pool and spa which get full sun for most of the entire day. The owners, Scott and Michael, have thought of everything and make it so easy to enjoy a completely hassle free stay. Frankly, it deserves ten stars.

Absolutely Perfect Property

My wife, son and I stayed here for 4 days just before Thanksgiving. The spacious living area - both inside and out - worked perfectly for our family. The pool and hot tub were well heated and perfectly sized. The kitchen had everything that you would think of needing. You could easily move around the outside pool deck to get sun or shade as needed throughout the day. We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The welcome gifts were a perfect touch. Many thanks for hosting us and hope to stay again soon.

Perfect desert retreat.

This mid century modern is better than the pictures. Not too big, not too small. Not too glitzy, not too dull. Just right. Great location too. In a quiet neighborhood (we wondered if there actually WERE neighbors, but we heard a dog once). Very private, so bring your birthday suit. If you’re looking to relax, this is the place!
