In addition to a picturesque setting on the widest beach (1600 square feet!) in the Ft. Lauderdale / Pompano / Hillsboro area, the building features the following amenities: Heated, Beachside Private Swimming Pool Fitness Center M/F semi-private Jacuzzi's M/F sauna's Gated and secured underground parking Free Guest Parking Adjacent the Ocean Club to the south is the Lighthouse Cove timeshare. I stayed at unit 902, 1500 Ocean Club from Jan to March in 2012. My first requirement of a beach vacation spot is a view. This unit had a wonderful view of the ocean, the beautiful beach and the view of the lighthouse. I could watch the surf or the excitement of the windsurfers from my perch on the 9th floor. The website pictures of the unit could not adequately convey the attractiveness of the unit and its very comfortable furnishings. I enjoyed stretching out on the overstuffed leather couch and sofa to watch the large HD T V. The kitchen was furnished with every conceivable gadget or utensil as well as being well-supplied with dishes, glassware, and cookware. All of the full-sized appliances were in good working order. Since I was there for a few months, I especially enjoyed having the clothes washer and dryer inside the unit. The layout of the condo was conducive to privacy and noise separation from other guests. Both the master suite and the additional bedroom had king-sized beds and large walk-in closets as well as modernly-appointed bathrooms. Most important of all was the extremely accommodating owner who went out of his way in every respect to assure that I was comfortable with every step of the vacation process from rental, moving in, and throughout the stay itself. The building is in a great location with respect to the bridge that connects the several major arteries for getting around Pompano Beach and its surrounding area. There are also several nice spots for dining and entertainment right within walking distance, not to mention the beautiful tennis facility and golf course that are located in the public park within a few minutes' drive . Anyone who stays in Unit 902 of 1500 Ocean Club is sure to find it a place that will truly enhance his vacation experience.
