About Trina Smith

We bought our cabins so we could enjoy the lake and mountains. My son and husband love to downhill ski and I love to cross country ski. In the summer, we like to kayak on the Lake. The close access to the Lake makes this cabin ideal. We also like to go hiking. Since we stay here often, it is equipped with everything I could possibly want when I'm up there. I know you will enjoy our cabin as much as we do!

Trina Smith purchased this cabin in 2009

Why Trina Smith chose Big Bear

My husband and I debated for a long time on where to get a vacation home. While we really wanted one in Hawaii, the six hour plane flight was a deterrent. My husband's family had a cabin in Angelus Oaks when he was young and he always had fun going there, but thought it was too far away from the 'action' in Big Bear Lake. We fell in love with our cabins the minute we saw them.

Charming cabin, great location, great service, nice amenities.

  • 5 of 5

Such a charming chalet-style cabin in central location near lake and the slopes. Perfect for 1-2 families; cozy but roomy. Nicely decorated for the holidays with plenty of games, movies, etc if you are staying in. Close to restaurants and shops. Beds were comfortable. We were at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain and everything was close and convenient. We ate in one night and out one night and both were great. Hacienda Grill was excellent Mexican food.

Owner was friendly, responsive, & available for any questions. There is a binder in the cabin with everything you'll ever want or need to know. The emails sent in advance of check-in were super-informative as well. Cabin was clean and well-maintained. Wi-fi was fast with no issues. With so many Big Bear cabins that are expensive and in bad shape with deceptive ads, it was nice to see a reasonably priced, high-quality place true to the listing. Thanks!!! A+++ See you next time.

Charming and Great Location

  • 5 of 5

This review is pretty simple -- if you live in SD or LA and you're stressed out because of your commute, kids, work... this place and Trina is the perfect fit for you. The cabin is affordable, clean, and in the best location. I'm talking 1 block to the shore of the lake and 1/2 mile to the bars and main restaurants. It's quiet. It's relaxing. And it's the perfect spot for a weekend away. I have nothing bad to say about my experience here and I'll definitely be back.

Lovely cabin in ideal location

  • 4 of 5

This is the third time I've rented this adorable cabin! It's a very cozy and sweet two-bedroom with a partially fenced in large backyard, which is perfect for my dog. I just love all of the pine trees that surround this house on a very quiet street.

I've rented it both during the summer and winter months and the location is ideal. Close to everything and very well stocked. Just walk to the beach & a gorgeous new playground area for the kiddos. Minutes to Big Bear & Snow Summit.

The owner is just wonderful and always available to answer questions.

Cute ... clean ... ideal location ... definitely a place that I would recommend to my friends and rent again ... and again... and again.

Wonderful Family Vacation at Bear Belle Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Just what we were looking for. Location, location, location. This lovely 2 bedroom cabin was located in the most perfect spot. It was clean and close to EVERYTHING. Restaurants, water activities, grocery stores and kids activities. We could walk to Swim Beach! The owner was very nice and easily reachable. There was everything we could possibly need in the cabin. Towels, condiments and lots of activities for the kids. They loved the WII and board games and we had nightly Yahtzee games. There was also WIFI, books & movies, but mostly we enjoyed the quiet location, nice beds and having a kitchen to come back to to feed the kids. Our favorite activities were the Cable Park for wake-boarding, the Alpine Slide and the Bowling Barn. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return next summer.
