Beautiful setting. Clean, comfortable home. Perfect for spending time with family.
Quiet enough to hear the river run. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be thrilled to have the opportunity to stay there again.
Beautiful and Perfect for our Family & Friends!
The property was beautiful and fit our family and friends of 8 comfortably. The interior and exterior of the home was well maintained and clean. Location sat perfectly between Northstar Ski Resort and Reno. Property also had great photo opportunities that captured the amazing view of the river and the snow covered trees. We're already thinking about coming back in the summer.
Prior to booking, I had several questions and the property owners responded quickly. They were a pleasure to work with! Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your home!
Thank you for the nice review. Glad we could accommodate your family & friends. We think our location offers convenience to and from town & ski resorts with Interstate 80 so close by and of course you can't beat the views! Hope you can return for that summer stay.
This was our third time staying here and we all hope more stays to come. The home has wonderful views of water, trains going by and trees. Inside we stayed nice and warm with the wood stove. Extra wood is as simple as opening a little door inside and picking some up, The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. All types of pots and pans, some spices, plus salt and pepper. Even chilled glasses in the freezer. Some condiments in the fridge. Nice dinning table with views to eat at or a small bar with stools. There's a cute bedroom with twin beds, tv and books, two nice bedrooms, and one nice master bedroom with views and bathroom. Also a small room off the living room full of plants and flowers. The house has a large wrap around deck with lots of room and a bbq. Quite and peaceful.
Thank you so much! It is so satisfying to us as owners knowing our home is a place our guests want to come back to year after year. Building it was a labor of love for us and knowing others appreciate the comfortable feel and design of our Truckee River home is the best compliment we can receive. Thanks for your thoughts!
Totally loved it!
If you are looking for a beautiful view from your windows, this is the place you are looking for.
It has a gorgeous view from the Truckee River and part of the mountain; we stay the last New Years weekend, and it was a very comfortable house to stay, you really don’t need to bring anything but your own beauty supplies and food. The house has everything you need. It’s like you really are in home!
Everything was perfect and clean!
It’s most beautiful than the photos.
We loved to stay in this house.
And my family and I are very thankful with the owners.
Thanks so much for the great review! It is so nice to hear from our guests that they felt right at home and enjoyed the river views. We try to provide a comfortable "home away from home" feeling at our rental and your comments are very much appreciated. Hope to see you back again soon!
Wonderful extended weekend was enjoyed by all especially the spectacular view.
This home is very comfortable. The outside living is beautiful and welcoming. We really liked the close proximity to the river. Never was there a dull moment while watching the folks on the river, the fisherman and the wildlife. And the owners were always helpful with any need - nice to have them nearby.
Had fun with friends. Saw deer and fawns on the river bar. Nice stretch to do some fly fishing. Comfortable, homey accomadatiins.
Thanks for the nice review. As summer starts to wind down, the fly fishing should continue to be good from all reports we have gotten up until the snow comes. Glad you were able to fish the Truckee and enjoy our vacation home with friends.
