Accommodations: One bedroom with queen bed, private entrance, private bathroom with combination tub and shower. Ceiling fans and individually controlled air conditioning. 32 inch flat screen TV with cable channels, DVD player and DVD library. Coffee maker with complimentary coffee, microwave and compact refrigerator in kitchenette. Sony AM/FM CD Player with iPOD dock/charger and free high speed wireless internet. Free use of washer and dryer, including detergent & softener. Two beach chairs, towels, two masks and snorkels, two beach mats and one cooler provided. And, no need to worry about taking shampoo, conditioner and body wash with you, or buying it once you get here. We supply Pantene shampoo, conditioner, and Dial body wash in a shower dispenser- more than enough for your entire stay, plus a Waterpik shower head.

Location: Adjacent to Kailua beach park in a quiet residential setting. Park steps away.

Ideally situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and a short 10 minute stroll from one of the world's best beaches, Hale Lilikoi is your Hawaii home away from home. You'll find that being on Hawaii time means more than setting your watch back a few hours. The pace of life is slower here and there's always time to smile and talk story.

The town of Kailua, lying between the Ko'olau mountains and the sea, has a wealth of shops and restaurants, despite its modest size. There are more than 50 dining options to accommodate every taste and budget. Other needs are met by 4 supermarkets, 5 banks, 2 drug stores, 5 gas stations, and dozens of shops for clothing, art and keepsakes.

You'll encounter historic Kalapawai market, a mainstay of Kailua since 1932, on your walk to the beach where you can stock up on drinks, sandwiches and sundries.

Our breezy windward side of Oahu is perfect for outdoor activities. On your way to Kailua beach stop at Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks to arrange kayak tours and rentals, windsurfing and kite surfing, snorkeling, surfing, and bicycling. Several public golf courses are near by, and hiking opportunities abound.

As our guest, you'll have complimentary use of a full-featured Garmin automotive GPS with 3-D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions including spoken street names.

There's lots of great stuff out there to see, do & eat. But getting to them can be a problem- because Oahu's roads can be plenty confusing.

To help, we provide you with printed lists of our favorite attractions and local restaurants, all of which we've programmed into the GPS.

Among the 43 attractions are Hanauma bay, Sunset beach, Diamond Head, Polynesian Cultural Center and the USS Arizona Memorial.

The restaurant list has 60 local eateries, and we've gathered menus for 36 of them for you to preview.

A printed quick- start guide for the GPS is provided to get you out and exploring in no time. Plus, the GPS has thousands of built- in destinations such as Banks & ATM's, gas stations, shopping, theaters and much more.

Beautiful, Clean Property with Convenient Location

Laurel's guest apartment was perfect for my boyfriend and I during our stay in Kailua. Laurel was very helpful and treated us with fresh fruit, water, and pastries upon arrival. She also provided beach towels and equipment which was very helpful since the apartment was close to both Kailua Beach and Lanikai Beach. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable- the AC window unit provided us with a cool breeze and there was plenty of storage space for our things. The bathroom was also very large and well stocked with amenities for our use. I would recommend Laurel's place to anyone as it is a great value for the location! Mahalo Laurel!

Great location in beautiful Kailua!

Great location a two block walk from the market and beach park. Also kayak and bicycle rentals on the way to the beach. Unit is cute and has all you need. Homeowner is very helpful, but you have your own entrance and privacy also. Lots of good food, great jogging trails, wonderful hiking nearby and of course two beatiful beaches Kailua and Lanikai. Recommended!

Beautiful Place with a great host! You'll love this place.

My wife and I stayed here from 12/20/17 to 12/25/17...Yes, Christmas in Hawaii. Kailua is a great spot for couples and families. This is the 4th time I've stayed at a B&B in this area and I have to say, this was the best place so far. Laurel, the owner, is a sweetheart and was easy to talk to and very accommodating.

The unit is large and well decorated, complete with a large bedroom area, seating/entry area, plenty of storage, and very nice bathroom and shower. It was clean and new inside and had everything you could need for a stay. You even have access to a washing machine and dryer which is a huge bonus. There's no oven or cook top in the unit so you have to either eat out or use the microwave. We tended to eat easy stuff for breakfast and lunch and eat dinner at local restaurants...problem solved.

The area is quiet, with quiet neighbors and very little vehicle or foot traffic. The cul de sac provides plenty of parking. Sleep with the doors open and night and you can hear the ocean. Kailua has plenty of activity, food and shopping options within walking distance, not to mention two of Oahu's best beaches just a short walk away. I could easily stay here every year and be perfectly happy.

This is a much better option than staying in a crowded, noisy, and expensive hotel on the Honolulu side of the island.

We are already planning to return in May.

sweet & quiet place to stay

This is a wonderful room with an island feel. There are thoughtful conveniences that make the stay perfect including kitchenette, and

use of beach equipment.

The owner is helpful with local hints of where to eat and visit.

She greets you with some fresh pineapple.

I loved being near to the swimming beaches .

Nice home-base on the windward side

Laurel’s place was just as advertised - great location (walking distance to town and to the beach), clean and comfortable! As others have shared, we found fresh bagels, cream cheese and delicious pineapple in the fridge - breakfast! We were pretty tired when we arrived and Laurel had just cooked up a pot of chili and kindly shared it with us. Dinner is not part of her usual service, but it luckily worked out for us. That is an example of the kind of hospitable host that she is - thoughtful, friendly and helpful! There was also a fruit bowl with fresh bananas, oranges and apples and macadamia nut chocolate bars if you have a sweet tooth :-). The bed is comfortable (always important) and something that others might not care about, but I do - the towels were fluffy and thick. A nice perk! I would recommend this little guest house to anyone who wants to have the homey feeling of being in a neighborhood, but the convenience to access the shore and restaurants within walking distance.
