About the property

House, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

Accommodations: One bedroom with queen bed, private entrance, private bathroom with combination tub and shower. Ceiling fans and individually controlled air conditioning. 32 inch flat screen TV with cable channels, DVD player and DVD library. And, no need to worry about taking shampoo, conditioner and body wash with you, or buying it once you get here. We supply Pantene shampoo, conditioner, and Dial body wash in a shower dispenser- more than enough for your entire stay, plus a Waterpik shower head.

Location: Adjacent to Kailua beach park in a quiet residential setting. Park steps away.

Ideally situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and a short 10 minute stroll from one of the world's best beaches, Hale Lilikoi is your Hawaii home away from home. You'll find that being on Hawaii time means more than setting your watch back a few hours. The pace of life is slower here and there's always time to smile and talk story.

The town of Kailua, lying between the Ko'olau mountains and the sea, has a wealth of shops and restaurants, despite its modest size. There are more than 50 dining options to accommodate every taste and budget. Other needs are met by 4 supermarkets, 5 banks, 2 drug stores, 5 gas stations, and dozens of shops for clothing, art and keepsakes.

You'll encounter historic Kalapawai market, a mainstay of Kailua since 1932, on your walk to the beach where you can stock up on drinks, sandwiches and sundries.

Our breezy windward side of Oahu is perfect for outdoor activities. On your way to Kailua beach stop at Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks to arrange kayak tours and rentals, windsurfing and kite surfing, snorkeling, surfing, and bicycling. Several public golf courses are near by, and hiking opportunities abound.

As our guest, you'll have complimentary use of a full-featured Garmin automotive GPS with 3-D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions including spoken street names.

There's lots of great stuff out there to see, do & eat. But getting to them can be a problem- because Oahu's roads can be plenty confusing.

To help, we provide you with printed lists of our favorite attractions and local restaurants, all of which we've programmed into the GPS.

Among the 43 attractions are Hanauma bay, Sunset beach, Diamond Head, Polynesian Cultural Center and the USS Arizona Memorial.

The restaurant list has 60 local eateries, and we've gathered menus for 36 of them for you to preview.

A printed quick- start guide for the GPS is provided to get you out and exploring in no time. Plus, the GPS has thousands of built- in destinations such as Banks & ATM's, gas stations, shopping, theaters and much more.

Check in time is 3pm. Check out time is 11 am.

Great place, great location! Owner was nice too!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for a week. It was the perfect space for a couple, nicely appointed and in a great location. The highlight was waking up the first morning (after getting in very late due to flight delays) to see that the owner had supplied bagels and fresh fruit for our breakfast. It was such a nice touch to not have to rush out to go shopping our first morning and took away the stress we were feeling from coming in late. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and will stay here again if I'm back on Oahu.

Cozy, clean, great hostess, and close to Kailua Beach Park - everything you'll need!

  • 5 of 5

Laurel is a fantastic hostess! She provides everything her guests could want or need during their stay. The one BR/one BA apartment was clean, well decorated, and includes a mini refrigerator, microwave, dishes and silverware, a window AC unit, cable TV, beach towels, beach chairs and use of the home's laundry facilities. It is obvious she cares that her guests enjoy themselves from the moment they check in. My girlfriend and I arrived to find fresh cut pineapple, chocolates, bottles of water, and bagels in the room. The AC unit and ceiling fans kept the room comfortable throughout our stay. The property is a short drive/longer walk to Kailua Beach and a short drive to the beginning of the Lanikai Pillbox trail (tough hike but fantastic views). You can even cool off with a Hawaiian ice from Island Snow after a hike or a long day at the beach. The apartment is also a short drive to the restaurants in Kailua, as well as Safeway (grocery), Whole Foods and Target. You will not be disappointed! This is a great, economical place to stay in a gorgeous part of Oahu!

Wonderful Place

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved our stay. Laurel was very welcoming and was a joy to talk to. Property was just like the photos and had everything we needed. Also had quite a few beach towels for us to use so we didn't have to lug our own around. Fresh fruit was there for us when we arrived and Laurel also brought us fresh brownies on our last day. Bed was comfortable and AC worked like a charm at night. Location is great - the street is very quiet - and right near the beach. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much Laurel!!

Perfect location with wonderful accomodations!

  • 5 of 5

This location in Kailua is amazing! Less than 5 minute walk to the beach with a quaint shopping center and authentic local market nearby. It's very close to Buzz's restaurant which is right on the water practically! Took us about 15-20 minutes to walk into town where there were larger shops and restaurants. There was a bike rental place in Kailua Town which gave us a great adventure to ride to the pillbox trails and hike up the mountain with breathtaking views. Laurel was so hospitable we felt like it was our second home! Fresh cut pineapple, bagels, and fruit were provided upon our arrival. The beach gear she let us use was great! She also provided maps that had great information and ideas about things to do in Kailua and other areas in Oahu. Perfect for couples looking to adventure in Hawaii together. I loved the residential, sleepy beach town we were in, it was a different vibe from the skyscrapers in Honolulu. We mostly got around using Lyft or walking. Highly recommend coming here if you're new to the island! We will definitely be returning! Mahalo <3
