Charleston Owners - First time on the rental market
The Owner purchased this house in 2008
We love the resort of Kiawah Island
Going to the Beach, riding bikes, playing golf, Great Restaurants
My daughter was married May 16 at nearby country club which is main reason I chose this house. It is also very close to Sanctuary and world famous Ocean Course. Great for entertaining as we had a large family cookout on enormous shaded back deck. Beach is short bike away with the bikes being provided by owners! Owners promptly answered all questions via text. Great customer service!!
We had the most wonderful family vacation in this home. It is extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. The location is fantastic and convenient to everything. We easily went to the beach or took a beautiful bike ride. They conveniently have bikes and beach chairs as well, which was so nice! The owner was very attentive to our needs as well. We accidentally left our Apple TV (which we didnt even need or use, as there were plenty of channels) and he promptly mailed it to us! We hope to definitely return to your beautiful home next year!
We had a wonderful spring retreat at this Kiawah home. It is beautifully furnished, clean, and nestled in a lovely neighborhood. The living space was designed perfectly for sharing with family (i.e. while some watched basketball on one side of the living room, I was able to read a novel on the other). The floor to ceiling windows/sliding doors allow the entire living space to be filled with light and allow for beautiful views of the outdoors. The sofas and beds were incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed both the large table in the living area and the kitchen table for dining and playing card games.
We feel lucky to have found such a lovely rental home that allows pets! We were able to bring our Bernese Mountain Dog along; she especially enjoyed the deck and the beach, which is a short walk away.
The house is centrally located on the island. We were able to bike to Freshfields Village and the Market at Town Center; we biked for hours during our stay, on the bike paths and on the beach. We also did a good deal of walking, and enjoyed Jasmine Porch restaurant at the Sanctuary and the Ryder Cup Bar on the Ocean Course. Charleston, one of the most charming cities, is only 30-40 minutes away and a great day trip.
We also enjoyed seeing the beautiful trees & plants, and wildlife such as deer, birds, and a few alligators (from a distance). The sunsets were magnificent!!
We definitely plan to return, and we would recommend this property to friends.
Very relaxing, pet friendly home, very quiet area and not a bad walk to the beach. We have made two visits to this home in two straight years and find it very accommodating.
This is a lovely, peaceful, special home with beautiful views of the golf course. It is spacious, beautifully decorated AND (!) pet friendly. My family enjoyed it so much that we extended our visit for a few extra days. Even the linens were awesome! We hope to book again in the near future.
Upon opening the front door we were welcomed into an enchanting white on white great room filled with wonderful furnishings, a lovely stone fireplace and very large dining room table which hosted many fun filled and delightful dinners. Light filtering through the living room french doors beckoned us out onto a large outdoor porch overlooking the Turtle Point Golf Course where we had many memorable evening coctail strolls with our dogs. The efficient, bright, spacious eat-in kitchen opened into the familyroom with comfortable sofas, Maine Cottage chairs, a wonderful fireplace and an oversized big screen TV. It was a perfect kitchen-family room environment for entertaining and relaxing. Laundry, laundry, laundry was a breeze in the light filled bonus room off the kitchen which had direct access to the large garage perfect for a big wheels race on a rainy day. The 2 guest bedrooms were ensuite with bath. The beds were so comfortable that it did not take long before the whooshing sound of the overhead fan lulled one to sleep. In the master bedroom the french doors take in a lovely view of the Turtle Point Golf Course and access the back deck which is a perfect spot for a cup of morning coffee. The bedroom is sun drenched, very gracious in size, most comfortable and a joy to wake up in. Beach Chic's location is superb for biking or, walking to the beach. The Sanctuary is a pedal away for a yummy breakfast, afternoon tea and a stroll on the beach or, evening cocktails and a sumptuous dinner. The East Market is minutes by bike for an ice cream or pizza and the ride home pedals off the pounds...Beachy Chic is close to just about everything! Not to mention the Turtle Point Club House Italian Restaurant which is family friendly with a fun eat-in sports bar...steps away by cart path after hours. The house is wonderful in every aspect and the owners are very helpful and always available for questions. Our month stay at Beachy Chic was wonderful in every way and went by all too fast...Enjoy!
