The Apartment was really comfortable with everything we needed in it. It wasn't in a very good area, but for those of you who enjoy the red light district, well....easy enough to jump on the Metro and enjoy the rest of this beautiful Mega-metropol. Emmanuel was also very helpful and friendly and I recieved my deposit refund almost immediately.
Fabulous stay in Paris!
My husband and I stayed for four nights with another couple and had such a wonderful time. This charming apartment was so much better than staying in a hotel and it made our visit very special. Perfect location in a charming neighborhood full of small shops, bakeries and cafes. It was such a pleasure to return after a long day of sightseeing to relax. Just a short climb to the Place Tertre and Sacre Couer. Emmanuel could not have been more helpful and he obviously has a true passion for Montmartre and his neighborhood. We cannot wait to go back again next year!!!
Our group of two couples shared this apartment for our stay in Paris. The location is great, 2 minute walk to the Pigalle metro station and minutes away from wonderful bakeries and restaurants in Montmarte. We had some hiccups with arrival due to a cancelled flight from the States but Emmanuel was very accommodating. All the food recommendations were fantastic and he was very responsive with any questions we had during our stay. Paris is always wonderful to visit and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
Great Place to stay
My family and I enjoyed our stay in this home. My husband and I are in our 50s and our sons are 18 and 20 years old. The house felt "homey". Emmanuel was helpful and personable. He provided us a list of his favorite restaurants near the home, and grocery stores near by. He also arranged for a taxi to pick us up and take us to the airport. He also had a guitar and piano in the home. Since we are a musical family, it was a treat. It is well located in Monmartre, but if you have younger children, the area may be to "adult" for them. One of the rooms faces the street, and if you leave the window open, you can here the night life. but this only occurred during the weekend. If the window is closed, then it is not an issue. He had a washer and dryer, which was very handy. The house was fun and it definitely added to our positive experience in France.
A Great Way to Experience Paris
We are two Australian couples in our 50's and we spent 5 nights in this apartment in August 2013 - it was fantastic. It is very well located on the edge of both Pigalle and Montmartre, nearly equal distance and easy short walk to both Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur. The accommodation felt more like a home than an apartment to us - it has that lovely ambience that is hard to describe but great to experience. As others have said, the Metro is close, along with supermarkets, shops, bakeries, bars and restaurants. We loved heading to Rue Abbesses and the Rue Lepic area, three times we went for drinks to Place du Tertre (8 mins walk and adjacent to Sacre Coeur) to watch the street artists and just take in the Parisian atmosphere, and twice we went to Le Jardin d'en Face on Rue Des Trois Freres (5 mins walk from apartment) - a fantastic little restaurant with superb food and great waitresses whose English was much better than our French!! We were fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in this apartment,- it was the perfect safe base for our sightseeing, but more importantly, allowed us to experience a lovely part of Paris on our doorstep.
