Let our one bedroom newly-renovated and nicely furnished slopeside condo in conveniently-located Mountain Lodge be your home-away-from home! We offer this highly desirable Mountain Lodge property. The condo has a custom built recessed oak ski rack and oak wainscoting and magnificent slope and mountain views. The condo was completely renovated Summer/Fall 2009 and has all the comforts of home! Plus, this unit has an interior connecting door that joins our other one bedroom Mountain Lodge condo. Perfect for families and groups that want to travel together and be nearby. Or, if you are not traveling with the guests in the adjacent one bedroom condo, just use the lockout feature on the interior connecting door. Our condo is located on the third floor of Mountain Lodge and is just 30 yards away from the Ballhooter high speed quad lift. The condo has a small balcony so you can enjoy the fresh air. Great Experience

This was our first time at Snowshoe and we couldn't have asked for better accommodations for a first time visit. I mean, if you came to snowshoe, you came to ski and spend time outdoors. Not holed up in the condo the entire time. It was great for being able to walk downstairs and out on the slopes. There were 4 of us (2 couples). My boyfriend and I took the bedroom and our friends took the sleeper sofa. 4 adults with a lot of luggage made for a tight fit - but then again - we were there to ski and just needed a place to rest our heads at night. When we checked in I looked around to ensure there was no damage that we would be responsible for and noticed a problem with the sliding glass door. I text the owner with a pic and she promptly replied. Everything was taken care of. The wifi in the room was great since there is no service for anyone except AT&T users. The cleaning service came around on our second day and asked if we needed new towels. Be aware it is very noisy in the building - everyone is clomping around in snowboots/ski boots but this is not a condo issue. Just a heads up. The walls are thin so you can hear skiers walking (clomping) down the halls. But we did the same thing when we were in our snow boots. Very close to Starbucks which made mornings bearable. Although there was a coffee pot in the condo but none of us thought to bring coffee supplies. Next time - yes we will gladly stay here again - I will be brining coffee supplies because the wait for Starbucks is LONG at 0700 in the morning when it opens. Roughly a 20 to 30 min wait.

Wonderful place to stay for a short trip. :)

Absolute worst online vacation rental expereince

I have stayed and numerous home aways all over the country and never once had any issue until I dealt with this woman! I wish I could copy and past the email exchanges I have kept for my records here, but it is now allowing me to do so! Take my advice and do not rent her units at Snowshoe, she has 3 of them! My husband and I traveled with out infant daughter last year for our first trip after having her. The unit was fine (nothing special, but not of snowshoe is). However the hassle than ensued after leaving was another story. I received an email from her not to long after leaving stating our security deposit was forfeited because we smoked pot in the unit! First of all, I was breastfeeding, and we had our baby with us this certainly was not the case, as I implied in my reply back to her. Also its a ski resort and the ventilation in those places suck. People smoke pot at ski resorts its a fact of life. Also, smoke travels, also a fact! She replied saying she would look into it! About a week later I received an email stating that the "identified" where the pot was coming from and it was not the unit we were staying in! Duh! I told you this on the phone, and before accusing people of drug use in your unit perhaps you should do your research as this is no way to handle what is clearly a business for her as she has 3 units! Save your self the hassle and do not deal with this woman! ****** Out of fairness I must add, after she "discovered" we were not the ones smoking pot, she promptly returned our security deposit.

Owner's Response: This review blatantly misrepresents the facts. For the benefit of prospective guests, I have posted all of the email correspodence on our website- mountain lodge three six teen period com. I also invite anyone who has any further questions about the falsities to to go to our website and review the link entitled Miscellaneous. Here is a direct quote from this guest's email to the Owner, "We do have a suspicion that this [referring to smell of marijuana] was maybe coming from the people staying in unit 322." We note that unit 322 is not owned by us and is next door to the unit that the complaining guest rented (i.e., she rented unit 324 from February 23-26, 2016, roughly an entire year prior to her posting a rating that contains falsities). Please see our website for the facts. I notified her at 7:30pm on Friday 2/26/16 that building management informed us of the suspected marijuana smell coming from 324. I told this guest that I would research the issue. On Tuesday, just four days later, I informed her that the management was able to confirm that the smell was coming from unit 224, directly below the unit where she had stayed. I apologized. With a checkout of 2/26/16, her full damage security deposit was returned on 3/4/17. Under the contract, it was supposed to be mailed by 3/7/16. Clearly, we adhered to the terms of the rental contract. I have rented these condos for 11 seasons now and my customer service record speaks for itself. As stated in my emails to you in February 2016, congratulations on your new baby. I wish you and your family well. Kind regards. I am an attorney and do not appreciate defamatory falsehoods.

Great Location and space!

Having never been to Snowshoe before this trip it was hard to choose a place to stay. We made a terrific choice with this condo though. We loved that this condo gave us the opportunity to walk right out and ski. It also looks out right at this major lift which makes it fun to watch skiers (kind of like a beach front condo). It was a much better view than the parking lot on the other side of the Mountain Lodge. We brought all of our own food and cooked it in the well-equiped kitchen. (I would definitely suggest bringing all of your food as the grocery store in town is expensive - unless you like to eat out.) Sleeping arrangements were great too - my husband and I took the bedroom and our teenage daughters took the sleeper sofa. The wifi is only usable in the bedroom area, but wasn't too much of an inconvenience because we were skiing most of the time. We got our security deposit back in a timely manner and the owners were easy to deal with for all arrangements.

Perfect For Weekend Stay

My fiancé and I rented this condo for a weekend. We have stayed in a couple of Mountain Lodge condos, but this one was especially great! Communication with the renters was fast, easy, and straightforward. They have their own website too. The renters have a couple other condos in the building as well, including the conjoining 1BR, which is great if you're planning on traveling with another couple/family. We loved that the view was slope-side so we could see the mountain and the incredible sunsets. We also brought our own food to cook and this condo had everything you need to do so! Great for access to the village, restaurants, and skiing. Clean, stocked, and updated...I would highly recommend this condo and will definitely be back!

Great location and excellent view!

We've been coming to Snowshoe for 20+ years now and I would definitely recommend this unit for your stay! The location and view were perfect - right in front of the Ballhooter lift! The kids slept on the sleep sofa and didn't have any complaints which is saying a lot considering comments they have made when staying at other units. Mountain Lodge offers WiFi access which was actually a bit hit or miss but if we walked a few steps down the hall from the unit it was fine - small price to pay for WiFi! The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The unit was clean and the staff that work at this facility are great! I do agree with the other reviews re: renting a cage - it will save you from having to tote your skis back and forth every day! Highly recommend!

Great Location

Our unit was very clean and the furnishings were nice. The kitchen was well equipped for your cooking needs, which was convenient since we did not have to spend a fortune eating out every night. When you check in be sure to ask if an equipment cage is available. Makes storing skis so much easier. Easy ski in and ski out. Great place to stay in Snowshoe. Easy walk to the Village and Starbucks!!!

No pets and no smoking in Mountain Lodge. Building restriction. Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed.

$300 refundable security deposit is a separate payment that is due prior to check in. This is not included in the rental amount. Cleaning fees are INCLUDED in our rates. Compare with other condos... we offer slope side units (with windows facing the beautiful slopes, not the drab parking lot) and there are no "add on"s for your lodging, as with other ML units.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
