Nicely decorated with wallpapers and original oil paintings and artwork. Private entrance with generous hall way included.

Very conveniently located just 1 1/2 blocks from the subway, and walking distance from world class tourist attractions including: The Brooklyn Bridge, The Brooklyn Heights Promenade, Prospect Park, and New York Harbor and the berth of the QE2 .

For those traveling for business, a nice walk to The Brooklyn City Hall and the many Court House Buildings (and Brooklyn Law School), and Wall Street and the NYC Financial District.

Walk to the corner and find fabulous dining and food shops along Smith St.

Everything we needed

We needed a place for a week that would allow us to bring our small dog while visiting with family. The apt is in a lovely,safe neighborhood with everything you would need within easy walking distance. We never had any trouble finding a parking space on the street. I was thrilled to have an opportunity to refine my parallel parking skills that had gotten a little rusty, living in suburbia. The Subway, restaurants, parks, grocery stores, -All easily accessed. As for the apartment - it was clean and very well supplied with linens. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, etc.and the stove was so clean I am not sure it had ever been used but we used it and it was great. Have an adventure! This is a garden level apartment in a beautiful old townhouse that is obviously loved and well maintained. So, know what you are booking, look at the pictures and you won't be disappointed. Johanna was wonderful to work with. I received quick responses to questions. Booking the reservation was easy and I hope we have the opportunity to return.

Nice cozy place in Brooklyn

Cozy, nicely decorated ground floor apartment in a very walk-able area. Two blocks to the Carroll Street Subway Station. We loved the Kittery restaurant, which is right up the street. Two blocks over on Court Street, we found a health food store with a good grocery selection and across the street is a fresh fish market. The apartment had everything we needed and was nicely decorated. Since we were there in August, we appreciated the air conditioning. The only thing lacking was adequate lighting in the kitchen area which we solved by bringing in a couple of table lamps from the other room.

Cozy and convenient

Clean and tidy apartment close to local amenities in Brooklyn with the subway not far. The courtyard garden was a bonus. We had a great holiday thanks!

Visiting the family

Overall the house is very good by the excelent location but for a long term staying I would like to suggest Johanna to update the ilumination and the air conditioning ( too noising and necessary for the season). Thank you.

Nice, clean and spacious apartment. Perfect for a family with two children. Near the subway. Quiet neighborhood. The apartment has everything you need to spend your holidays. Wifi works perfectly.

Needs improvement

As mentioned before, there are a number of problems with this apartment. Foremost is the 'shower'. It is dangerous. Easy to slip and fall or scald yourself.

A light over the door is needed after dark and the TV is sadly out of date.

Otherwise the location is good if you are visiting someone in the area.
