My summer home is a bright, sunny, and spacious ranch house located in a very quiet location just off Pleasant Street at 11 Carnes Lane in the West End of Provincetown. It is nicely furnished with comfortable beds, and a pleasant mixture of antiques, artwork, and functional furniture. The house has three bedrooms and 2 baths. It is located walking distance to the supermarket, two gyms, as well as convenient to the beach by foot or bike. It is also very short walking distance to the shops, bars, and restaurants on Commercial Street and the Boston ferry boats arriving on the wharf. There is a private deck and patio area with a gas grill, an outdoor shower, and 'in season' large flower pots augment a beautiful garden that surrounds the house. The house is fully equipped with dishwasher, washer and dryer and cable TV, phone, and WiFi - internet. There is parking for three or four cars in the driveway. In the summer there are A/C units for each of the bedrooms and the living room. Off-season there is a fireplace and central heat - the house is fully winterized.

The kitchen was completely renovated in 2012 and the bathrooms in 2011. The house is in spotless condition.

Rental rates: Rates vary per week: Please call or email for rates and availability - I am flexible when I can be.

May 2017 runs from $1,800 to $2200 per week

June 2017 is $2000 to $2,200 per week

July and August 2017 is $2,300 to $3200 per week

July 4th week 2017 will be $3300 for 7 nights

Sept. is $2,200 to $1,800 per week

Off Season roughly $225 to $350 per night - call or email for rates on specific rates for short stays or get a bargain w/ a two week rental.

I am an artist and art teacher living in Washington, DC. I spend most of my summer vacation in Provincetown, but rent my house at various times of the year. It is my favorite place to be.

Provincetown is a vibrant and diverse arts community at the northern most tip of Cape Cod. It's historic, politically liberal, and surrounded by thousands of acres of National Seashore land that is held in trust as a recreational and environment asset for all to enjoy.

What makes my house unique is that it is close to everything, but also located in a quiet neighborhood that can be a nice refuge from all the activities in town.

Provincetown is known for its outstanding location at the very tip of Cape Cod. The Cape Cod National Seashore in which Provincetown exists is a magnificent natural area with beaches, extensive bike paths, and stunning vistas. The town itself is a quaint New England fishing village that has evolved into a liberal environment where diversity is celebrated. There are extensive visual and performing art offerings, as well as many shops, restaurants, bars, and dance clubs. Provincetown is easily accessible by car, plane or ferry. Once here, walking or biking will get you virtually everywhere you need to go.

This home is more appealing than the picture. The house was very clean and very cozy which was very important to us! The owner thought of everything. The location is perfect - just one block from commercial so far enough back to be very quiet but close enough to be able to walk to everything. We had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend this to others.

Great location, comfortable home, kind owner

Three couples shared this home for a week and had an amazing time. Over the last decade we've been coming to P-town, this was the first home we unanimously said we'd like to book again. The home is well stocked and we enjoyed the outdoor shower. Would definitely book again.

Look no further.

We always have a wonderful time in Ptown but staying at this home was the icing on the cake!. I definitely recommend staying here. It's a couple of blocks away from Commercial St. so it's a very quite neighborhood. It has 3 parking spaces and a great BBQ area. Beach towels and chairs are also available. The owner and home caretaker respond quickly for assistance with your needs. Great time! Thank you, MLB Silva & family.

Wonderful accomodations, definitely going back!!

My husband and I went to P-Town last year for the first time together. We loved it so much, we decided to come back with some friends for the week. Fortunately, we found this property and decided to try it out. We are so thankful we did as we had nothing but positive experiences. In fact, we loved it so much, we are hoping to make it an annual trip. The owner was responsive and so friendly. The property (inside and outside) was clean and well maintained, just an all around quaint and charming home. Everything in the home was just as shown and detailed in the property description. In fact, there was more supplies than expected including Beach Towels, Laundry Soap, and Suntan Lotion just to name a few. I highly recommend the house, you won't regret it.

Lovely and very quiet house in the West End

We really loved staying at Nick's house. He did everything possible to accommodate us and made the whole booking process easy. The house is situated in a very quiet little lane but within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops and everything else the West End of P-town has to offer. It is notably only a few minutes walk from Victor's restaurant which is one of the best in P-town. The Herring Cove and Race Point beaches are only a few minutes drive away. The house is exactly as Nick describes it and the photos almost do it justice but it is even nicer in reality! Loved the personal art work in the house and the deck out the back which we made good use of as the weather was so warm in the evenings. We had a fantastic vacation here and if someone is looking for a quiet house only minutes walk from the busy West End then we would recommend it. Thanks Nick!

When possible I am flexible with arrival dates, so sometimes it may be possible to start (or end) your rental on a day that better suits your schedule. Off-season I am more flexible on when rentals start and end, as well as the length of stay, but I prefer a 3 night minimum.

100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
