Will sleep 17-19. 1 block north of GC Pier.

About The Owner

We enjoy family vacations at the beach and the house allows us to vacation with our children and grandchildren without having to get separate hotel rooms or condos.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 2007

Why The Owner chose Grand Strand - Myrtle Beach

Great location, right on the beach, within walking distance to pier, arcade and shopping. Very close to restaurants, and activities such as waterparks and miniature golf. Each access to the bypass to Broadway on the beach, barefoot landing and Tanger outlets.

Excellent communication with Robin. She is very accommodating and easy to work with.

Even though the house is not beach front (2 townhouses b/w rental and beach) you can view the ocean through every window.

Walking distance to shops and pier.

Attached 2 car garage came in handy, especially on Friday (worst day for Hermine). We arrived on Thursday night and were able to easily bring items upstairs. We had a Sedona mini van and a Highlander that easily fit into this garage.

Beach access within yards of the beach - totally awesome!! We came for the beach so this was perfect : )

Within minutes (car needed) to tons of restaurants and mini golf, shopping etc. (Rt 17)

Electric outlets in both upstairs bathrooms didn't work. Called Robin to make her aware and she will fix right away

The most disappointing part of our stay was the loud noise from the live band at the Pier bar. They played the music until 12m. The back 2 bedrooms could even hear what the band people were singing. Thank God the pier closes at 12m and the baby was sleeping in the front bedroom ( nothing heard).

Speaking of noise, the rental is 2 houses from main road so we were able to hear the motorcyles ripping down the main road late at night while trying to sleep - fortunately there wasn't a lot of them.

No ice maker (minor issue) but did have ice cube trays

Lower level of house was warmer and felt a little sticky compared to upstairs

Both balconies did face the ocean but they were not very private as the rental is on a small beach access parking lot. This really didn't bother us, but if you wanted something private you may have been disappointed.

Family Vacation a Success!

This was our first time staying in Garden City and these accommodations were great! We had 4 adults, 2 teenagers and an infant and this house was very comfortable for us all week. Very clean and the secure garage underneath was a big bonus! The owners are wonderful! Very prompt in communicating with us and answering any questions we had. Great location! Right on the beach and within minutes walking distance of Garden City Pier and local stores. We will definitely book this house again!

Our Go-To Destination in Garden City

Our family has stayed at this townhouse for three years now. We all feel like it is our home away from home. The owners have been gracious and are so easy to communicate with. We feel like we have everything we need to enjoy our stay. We like the location because it is family friendly and my husband and I like to enjoy the ocean view from the balconies while the children rest or play inside. Having a garage was really nice to park our car and unpack and also an area to clean off from the beach when you're ready to go inside.

The location is great because you are right on the ocean and you can walk to the Garden City Pier and nearby shops/restaurants. Broadway at the Beach and other restaurants are not too far away by car (20 minutes or so).

We have stayed in both townhomes that are owned by this owner and they are very clean, well-appointed, and quiet! I always worry about staying in a townhome with shared walls but I don't hear anyone, which is great with three kids!

Second Time

This is the second time we have stayed in this townhouse. Like our visit last year we had a wonderful time and couldn't be happier with our experience. Robin and Donna are very easy to communicate with and promptly respond to any questions etc. The views of the ocean are priceless and multiple eateries are an easy walk. Once again our little bichon enjoyed our walks on the beach and I had a great time surf fishing with friends just a short walk up the beach. Can't wait to return again at our first opportunity.

Great place with great location!

This was my first experience with VRBO, and I couldn't have been happier. I took my parents for a last-minute trip to the beach, and we all enjoyed staying here. The location was perfect - just steps from the beach, and I loved having the garage to park our vehicle in. The condo was clean and spacious. And as others have mentioned, Robin was just fantastic to work with - she was very accommodating and made everything very easy (especially since we were doing this pretty last-minute!). Let me say again - she is great. I would definitely recommend this property. My mom has a bad knee at the moment, so the only thing I would say is that, for her, the steps were a bit difficult to navigate each time; however, this would've been the case at many beachfront properties.
