Big enough to accommodate 3-4 couples or large families. Also own the adjacent townhouse so larger families can be together with 4 full baths, 2 washer/dryers and 6 bedrooms. Will sleep 17-19. 1 block north of GC Pier.

About The Owner

We enjoy family vacations at the beach and the house allows us to vacation with our children and grandchildren without having to get separate hotel rooms or condos.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 2007

Why The Owner chose Grand Strand - Myrtle Beach

Great location, right on the beach, within walking distance to pier, arcade and shopping. Very close to restaurants, and activities such as waterparks and miniature golf. Each access to the bypass to Broadway on the beach, barefoot landing and Tanger outlets.

Only steps to the sand, direct access without waiting on elevators, private garage and entrances, balconies with outstanding unobstructed views of the ocean, ocean view from all bedrooms as well as living room, kitchen and dining room.

The house was clean and could not be any closer to the beach. It's a hop, skip, and jump from Murrell's Inlet which is where we love to hang out in the evenings. It's also walking distance from all the entertainment in "downtown" Garden City. The location was quiet at night. We had a baby in the house and there never a noise issue. Robin was very accommodating and responsive to any needs or questions I had. Great experience. Would definitely stay again.

Overall nice

Microwave did not work. stained beds. Outdated appliances/ furniture. Great location, nice space with porches overlooking the ocean.

Owner's Response: When contacted by the guest that the microwave did not work, I sent an electrician immediately. The guest texted me that when he was there it worked fine. I did not hear back from the guest again until after their departure when they said it had stopped working again. Had they notified me while they were still there, I would have responded as I did the first time. It has been replaced. Prior to arrival, we always advise the guests if there are any housekeeping issues to notify us. It was not until they posted a review about the mattress covers that I was made aware. Nothing was mentioned in all the texts we exchanged about the microwaves that they had any other issues. Had I known, I would have sent housekeeping back to change them out as we keep spare covers at the house. Even upon their departure, the guests emailed they had a great time, notified me the microwave did not work and did not mention any other issues. That is why their review surprised me. We take all comments seriously and resolve them upon notice. Housekeeping has been notified that the mattress pads were an issue and reminded them they are to be checked prior to any arrival. These guests would be welcome to return as they left the house in good condition. We hope they do so that they can see their issues are resolved.

Wonderful Vacation!

We enjoyed our stay in this nice, clean, beachfront home! The owner was so easy to work with...from the reservation process to check-in and check-out. She was readily available if we had any issues which thankfully we did not as our trip proceeded like clockwork without any problems or issues. Our stay could not have been any better. The two private balconies are awesome and we loved that you step out of the garage and are literally right at the beach access! I highly recommend this rental!

Excellent communication with Robin. She is very accommodating and easy to work with.

Even though the house is not beach front (2 townhouses b/w rental and beach) you can view the ocean through every window.

Walking distance to shops and pier.

Attached 2 car garage came in handy, especially on Friday (worst day for Hermine). We arrived on Thursday night and were able to easily bring items upstairs. We had a Sedona mini van and a Highlander that easily fit into this garage.

Beach access within yards of the beach - totally awesome!! We came for the beach so this was perfect : )

Within minutes (car needed) to tons of restaurants and mini golf, shopping etc. (Rt 17)

Electric outlets in both upstairs bathrooms didn't work. Called Robin to make her aware and she will fix right away

The most disappointing part of our stay was the loud noise from the live band at the Pier bar. They played the music until 12m. The back 2 bedrooms could even hear what the band people were singing. Thank God the pier closes at 12m and the baby was sleeping in the front bedroom ( nothing heard).

Speaking of noise, the rental is 2 houses from main road so we were able to hear the motorcyles ripping down the main road late at night while trying to sleep - fortunately there wasn't a lot of them.

No ice maker (minor issue) but did have ice cube trays

Lower level of house was warmer and felt a little sticky compared to upstairs

Both balconies did face the ocean but they were not very private as the rental is on a small beach access parking lot. This really didn't bother us, but if you wanted something private you may have been disappointed.
