Welcome to Kamalani’s Hale. Little Miss Kamalani would like to share her home with you.
Kamalani’s Hale is located in Ewa Beach. Ewa Beach is on the south west side of the island of Oahu, also known as the leeward side. Kamalani’s Hale is oceanfront, with a beachside pavilion. You will feel the tropical breeze and hear the melodic sounds of the ocean all day and night.
Kamalani’s is the perfect, slow ya down…or stop, and smell the plumerias kind of place. If your looking for a peaceful, relaxing, quiet, wonderful Hawaii experience, this is it.
Kamalani’s has just been remodeled, open, airy, and the total tropical beach feel. The hale has 3 BR/1 BA inside 1 full BA outside, sunroom, full kitchen, and living room area. New...outdoor bathroom (full) with outdoor shower, privacy and hot water. French doors leading out to the beach from the living room and one of the bedrooms.
Just outside of the French doors is a patio area, just beyond that is the lush grass with a small sidewalk to the beachside pavilion. Next ,the sand, the ocean, the beautiful views of Diamond Head and the downtown skyline.
The pavilion is a great place to BBQ and enjoy your meals while enjoying the views. Then take a walk on the beach, wonderful during the day or the night. The night walks are especially fantastic on the beach, the stars can be seen with such vibrance on the dark backdrop. Day or morning walks are just as fantastic, the shells, the scents, the sounds…its all there. You might be lucky and see a Hawaiian Monk Seal, they beach themselves and sunbath on our coastline occasionally.
Kamalani’s hale is a two story home. Kamalani saves the upper level for when she is on the island.
Now that you can’t wait to get to Hawaii, and enjoy everything it has to offer. Let me mention that the house sleeps 4 comfortably, but can accommodate 2 more. Kamalani’s is in a neighborhood, with full time residents, who are amazing and accommodating. When you stay here, we hope that you will respect them as they will respect you.
Thank you for your consideration of Kamalani’s Hale as your vacation home.
We look forward to your stay.

I (Marlene) grew up here in Ewa Beach. This home that we want to share with you belonged to my Uncle Tony's family since the 1940's. We took over the property 10 years ago, but just this year we decide we wanted to share our home. Ewa Beach is a secret little gem...really...a gem !!! Kamalani in Hawaiian means beloved child, and that she is.....Kamalani is our daughter, she is 8yr old and loves Hawaii too...this is her in the photo. We have been living in Seattle full time and Ewa Beach part time. We came back to Hawaii this year in June and began a full renovation of the unit. This consisted of tearing out all of the walls and ceiling and starting all new and fresh. Our property has two other homes towards the street and the tenants have been there for years. This is a quiet residential neighorhood and we all have respect for eachothers privacy and quiet enjoyment. Like I said above, Ewa Beach is a gem. Hope to see you soon.
Darla purchased this house in 2000
This property is unique, because it beachfront with a beautiful yard and pavilion for your use. There is private parking with a gate. This home is remodeled and everything is new!!!
We had an excellent time in Kamalani's Hale! It was wonderful to hear the sound of the ocean as we were drifting off to sleep. The house was very comfortable for our family of 4 and Sissy and Darla were both very accommodating and helpful. We ate dinner almost every night outdoors in the pavilion and one morning during our daily walk on the beach, we were lucky enough to see a monk seal napping in the sand. We would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a beach getaway.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kamalani's Hale! The entire process was easy and everyone was wonderful to work with from start to finish. The house fit 6 adults decently, though 4 would've been better as 1 of the bedrooms is more of a giant closet, yet doesn't have anywhere to put your clothes. The house was clean and very functional (other than the lack of storage for your clothes). It could use some updating, but we were very happy there and would stay again. The outdoor shower was awesome! I didn't shower inside even once. We all would have preferred it to be in the back yard instead of the front yard, but it was so pleasant showering out there that it didn't bother us much. The back yard was perfect. It is very lovely and well maintained... and the view is incredible. I wouldn't recommend swimming there, as you will likely get scraped up, but being out there on the beach made our stay unforgettable. We were very happy staying here and highly recommend it!
Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Kamalani's Hale! Booking with Darla and meeting Sissy, was the best experience, both ladies were so kind and helpful. The home is warm and inviting! Thank you for the coffee and chocolates, both helped us recover from jet lag! The view, pavilion, grill, and outdoors extras made our trip even more special! Waking up and watching the sunrise every morning started our day off right. I highly recommend this property and working with both ladies. They make your stay warm and welcoming!! Thank you both again and to the owner for creating an experience we won't forget!!
My family and I enjoyed the comfort of your home, the access to the whole Island and the stores was perfect. We visited my son who was living locally. All the extras your house had made it like we were home, but with a much better view. Thanks again and we look forward to next years visit.
This house was a great spot from which to explore the entire island. Sissy was great to deal with and we appreciated the treats left for us! The house was well equipped and well furnished. We loved sleeping with the windows open and hearing the ocean each night.
Great lawn and pavilion- the beach is quite sloped and the water rocky but a great place to watch the sunrise over Diamond Head. We had a monk seal visit right in front of the house for 2 days which was great! Would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay in this little house. The location was just right for us and had all the amenities we could have hoped for and more. Sissy and Darla were both extremely helpful before, during, and after our stay.
I think the key to people having a great time with this property is knowing what it is and isn't. It is a lovely little property very close to the beach. It is a little older and has a few quirks, but in my opinion, nothing that should spoil your stay. The gun range down the beach was a bit of a surprise, as was the neighbors rooster, but these were easily overcome.
We really appreciated all of the amenities like internet, wifi, beach towels, flippers, masks, snorkels, etc. Also, the complimentary coffee was MUCH appreciated on our first morning (and everyday thereafter)!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to others.
