One bedroom condo located atop the highest mountain (Snowshoe Mountain) in West Virginia. The condo is very nicely decorated and comfortable. The condo consists of a living room, kitchen, bedroom, hall and bath. Sleeping accommodations include a queen size bed in the bedroom, queen size sleeper sofa in the living room and twin bunk beds in the hallway. The condo sleeps up to four adults and two children.

In the winter you can enjoy the best skiing of any location in the mid-Eastern part of the U.S. In the Spring, Summer and Fall you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, wildlife and tranquility atop the mountain. It is rare to stay up on the mountain for a few days and not spot deer while there or on your drive up or down the mountain. Seasonal activities available on the mountain also include golf, hiking, tennis, mountain biking, street biking, archery, skateboarding, miniature golf, horseback riding, paddleboats, dining at fine restaurants, comedy club, aqua center (pool & hot tub), nightclubs, concerts, fireworks, etc.

The condo is located in the Snowcrest Condominium complex at the highest point on the mountain and is one of the lodging complexes featured at the Snowshoe Mountain resort.

Great location & great price.

We had a great time staying at this property. The location couldn't be beat and we had some great views at the top of the mountain from the porch. The property isn't fancy, but it was just what we needed--especially for the price! The kitchen was well stocked with any appliance you could ever want and the apartment included plenty of linens, towels, and comfy pillows. Our friends stayed on the pullout couch and said it was pretty comfortable, too. The owner was very responsive and sent lots of detailed info before we checked in, so it made arrival and departure a breeze. Some of our favorite perks of this place were the easy-to-access hot tubs downstairs, the fireplace you could turn on and off, and the buses that took you any where you needed to go on the mountain. Keep in mind: You may not have service during your stay, though the property does have a fast wi-fi which really came in handy. All in all we had a great time!

Exceptional Value!

This VRBO Condo surpassed our expectations for a resort rental property! Clean and well maintained, the furnishings and equipped kitchen made for a comfortable stay. This is a great location, easy access to everything by shuttle (frequent runs that pickup at the building entrance), or a very easy walk to shops and restaurants. The owner was responsive, and provided his contact information as well as the resident manager’s information for easy contact. The clean and functional hot tubs on the first floor were an added benefit after a long day of skiing. We will keep this property information saved for future trips to Snowshoe!

We'll be back....

This VRBO property was everything we expected and more. Very clean, quiet, comfortable, and has a well appointed kitchen. Great location on the mountain for the price when compared to all others. Terry the owner is very prompt with the rental process and when replying to the questions I had. We had no need to contact the building manager or the owner during our stay because everything was perfect. The hot tubs on the first level are great after a long day on the slopes. We rarely had to wait more than 5 minutes to catch the bus to other parts of the mountain. I will be keeping this property information saved for future trips to Snowshoe. Thanks Terry!

What a nice surprise!

What a nice place to stay. This has to be the quietest building on the mountain. Had never stayed here before but made last minute reservations and I am so glad I picked this place. The hot tubs on sight were never crowded, internet access perfect, clean as a whistle. I couldn't have asked for a better situation. Just a short walk across the parking lot to lifts, rental shops, restaurants and bars in the Top of the World building. I will definitely be staying here again!

Owner's Response: We very much appreciate the kind feedback provided by our guest. Units within Snowcrest are individually owned and maintained. We strive to keep our unit clean, comfortable, and up-to-date for our guests enjoyment. The Snowcrest building itself is very well maintained and monitored by the onsite resident Manager, Snowcrest's Board of Directors, and the supporting cleaning and maintenance companies. They all do an excellent job of maintaining the appearance of the common areas (including hot tubs and gameroom) and in providing a safe location for our guests to have an enjoyable stay. Snowshoe operates a free shuttle bus service which stops at the Snowcrest complex ,as well as several other convenient locations on lthe mountain, approximately every 20 minutes. Guests can use the shuttle to ride to major points on top of Snowshoe mountain to reach: various access points to the slopes; restaurants; nightclub; comedy club; specialty shops; Village Center; ski rental shops; lift ticket purchase sites (either in Top of the World building or at the Village Center),;etc. The shuttle buses accomodate the transport of your ski equipment as well either through racks on the side of the buses or you can carry your equipment onboard the bus with you. The shuttle buses are the best way to get around while at Snowshoe since general public parking is limited. It is generally best to just leave your cars parrked near the building you stay at and take the shuttle.

Holiday rates are $255/night. The rate applies to the day before, day after and the day of the holiday. A $300 security deposit will be place as an "authorization" on your credit card just prior to your check-in date.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
