About Tim Reilly

I'm semi retired. My wife and I moved to Colorado from Iowa around 14 years ago. We had a chocolate business there which we sold and moved to Evergreen. I like to play tennis, ski, and a few other sports.

We love the mountains and have made many friends along the way. Our rental house in Georgetown is a beautiful well equipped house with awesome views and plenty of wild life in the area. You can hike right out the front door or ski 12 minutes away at Loveland.

We also love to travel, some of our favorite places are in northern Italy and all of Switzerland. We recently got back from a two week trip to Kenya. My wife has also done many worldwide trips with Habitat for Humanity. Our motto is travel lite and travel often. Tim

Tim Reilly purchased this house in 2006

Why Tim Reilly chose Front Range

I chose this property because it was a newer house with great mountain views with lots of wildlife. It has easy freeway access to 7 major ski areas, good in town restaurants, but you can still get to Denver in less than 45 minutes.

What makes this house unique

Almost every day you'll see deer on the property. Many times you will also see mountain rams near by. It's a newer property with newer amenities.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you Tim!! We had a wonderful time and hope to make this a yearly gathering!!! Your house was so warm and welcoming and we really appreciated everything you did for us!

Great home with awesome views!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home with great views from wrap around decks. House is very comfortable over three floors. Heated floors was nice to have since it was cold. Kitchen has everything you would need. Very good location, we drove to Keystone, Breckenridge, Frisco all within an hour or so. Lots of snow while we were there, made for beautiful setting. Tim sends so much information that helped a lot. Snacks, coffee and a few drinks in frig provided. Would definitely stay again.

Great family home with plenty of room and privacy in the mountains!!

  • 5 of 5

We gathered from areas in Colorado to meet for a fun weekend riding the train and hiking! It was perfect for a weekend getaway to visit with friends and family. Hiking is right out the front door and plenty of fun is to be found in town. The house was well stocked with games, dish TV (for football games) and candy!! We had a great time. Tammy from Windsor , CO

Great Experience!

  • 5 of 5

The home is exactly as it appears in the photos. Beautiful home and incredible views. Tim was very accommodating and made sure we knew directions to the home, how to get in and provided a very thorough list of local attractions, restaurants and scenic drives/hikes. He even had a tasty treat waiting upon our arrival! If we ever get the chance to return we will contact VRBO and hope Tim's gorgeous home is available. Thank you!

Beautiful home -matched by the Scenery!

  • 5 of 5

This was my first experience using VRBO and the owner set the standards high for other renters! The owner responded immediately to my initial reservation request - is friendly/professional and then sent follow-up emails with listings of restaurants and things to do in the area - what a pleasant surprise and experience. The owner made sure I was advised well in advance of how to enter the home, etc. and had a welcoming treat when we arrived. The home is simply lovely - well furnished, very clean and the views are just as shown - amazing. The owner's suite has a jet tub for relaxing:) We spent our first day relaxing and enjoying the home - dinner at The Alpine Restaurant and Bar (very good pizza). The second day we went to Phoenix Mine in Idaho Springs, CO (which was about 20 minute drive and an interesting tour), lunch/shopping in Idaho Springs. We then went for a hike up the mountain - the trail is a few minutes walk from the door! The hike was well worth it - beautiful view of the town, lake, etc. If you want to stay in Georgetown, have a to-do list in Denver or elsewhere in the area, I would highly recommend staying here. We wish that we could have stayed a lot longer.... Thank you for allowing our family stay in your home~

Excellent, well maintained property!

  • 5 of 5

From the time of booking through the end of our stay our two families couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. Tim provided a wealth of information about Georgetown and the surrounding area which helped us plan activities. We took the Loop railroad ride and enjoyed the mine tour. Very informative and eye-opening. The location is a long hike to downtown, but it also provided a great deal of peace and quiet. It was nice to relax on the deck, look out over the lake, and watch the traffic on I-70 without the noise of engines and brakes. We will definitely try to stay again if our travels/events bring us to the Georgtown area again. Thanks Tim!

Owner's Response: Thank you for the nice review. Glad you had a good time at the house. It is a good walk to downtown from the house. Maybe a little over a mile. It is kind of a time warp walking past newer houses, then houses from the 70's, then houses from the mid-to late 1800's until you hit downtown. Thanks again. Please return in the future. Tim

Fun Stay in Georgetown

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful location, close to all sorts of fun things to do. We loved rafting on the Clear Creek, the Georgetown train and mine tour was a blast, and it's lovely up on Guanella Pass. House is nicely appointed and we'd love to come back.
