About Tim Reilly
I'm semi retired. My wife and I moved to Colorado from Iowa around 15 years ago. We had a chocolate business there which we sold and moved to Evergreen. I like to play tennis, ski, and a few other sports. We love the mountains and have made many friends along the way. Our rental properties, house, townhouse, and condo in Georgetown our beautiful and well equipped with awesome views and plenty of wild life in the area. You can hike right out the front door at the house or ski 12 minutes away at Loveland. We also love to travel, some of our favorite places are in northern Italy and all of Switzerland. We recently got back from a two week trip to Kenya. My wife has also done many worldwide trips with Habitat for Humanity. Our motto is travel lite and travel often. Tim
Tim Reilly purchased this House in 2006
Why Tim Reilly chose Georgetown
I chose this property because it was a newer house with great mountain views with lots of wildlife. It has easy freeway access to 7 major ski areas, good in town restaurants, but you can still get to Denver in less than 45 minutes.
What makes this House unique
Almost every day you'll see deer on the property. Many times you will also see mountain rams near by. It's a newer property with newer amenities.

Great cute place
First family ski trip. Thanks for sharing your home with us! House was clean, fully stocked with all essentials. Kids were super excited to find sleds in the garage and had a blast in the hill in back of home.
Thank you for the nice review. I'm glad you got to use the sleds in the garage. Most people come to ski in winter and kind of forget about smaller kids and sledding, Tim
Awesome White(ish) Christmas
Great Christmas vacation cabin in the mountains. The house was very clean and well stocked, like they had vanilla for my homemade hot chocolate and a crock pot to make it in. They had games and books, as an art teacher I LOVE the collection of art books. The beds were comfy, my husband and I stayed in the 3rd floor master suite and it was cooler that the rest of the house but we kept the thermostat down at night but warmed up quickly when we bumped it up. Everyone else had no complaints about being cold. Fireplace really puts off some heat.
We brought our two dogs (one Lab and one Anitolian shepherd) thinking that the dog run had enough area for the dogs to run. Not the case, the house did have a small/ medium size dog door in the hallway of the bottom floor that ran into the a short dog walk/way in the garage into a very small (3’x4’) pen. And if you left the dog door open that bottom floor was very cold. They (the dogs) did enjoy the hiking up and down the mountain and walks down to the lake every day 2-3 times a day.
The drive way is very steep, and upon arrival it was covered with snow. My big gas guzzling suv handle it no problem, but if you have a smaller car you might want to park it on the road. However the road is very narrow going up and there is only a few spots to go around an on coming car let along to park.
Location is perfect! Georgetown is before you go through Eisenhower Tunnel so it didn’t have as much snow as the other side did. Which is great if you are from South Louisiana and this was your first ever White Christmas with very little experience driving in the snow. But close enough to go to Breck and Copper. The town itself is darling just like the Hallmark Christmas shows.
Would love to come back in the summer and do some more hiking.
Glad you had a nice time at the house. Yes Georgetown is a great Hallmark Christmas town. They have filmed many movies here. Thank you for the review. Tim
Nicely kept large property.
Lovely place for our large family to experience the Christmas Market.
Thank you for the nice review. Glad you had a good time at the house and Georgetown area. The Georgetown Christmas Market is a great family experience. If you have younger kids it's also fun to take the Christmas train.
Great house with amazing views. Quiet neighborhood..quick access to I70..lots of deck space to enjoy the outdoors. The owner was very accommodating and easy to deal with. Would stay here again.
Thank you for the nice review, and thanks again for leaving the house in great shape. Tim
Awesome place with and awesome experience!!
We are from Virginia and really enjoyed the welcome, attention and service from the owner!
Simple, easy, smooth process and wonderful home!! When traveling with three young children having a place this clean and safe is so appreciated...LOVED IT!!!
Owner sent a plethora of emails concerning the town and things to do, several of things we did and thoroughly enjoyed Georgetown!!
Have a great stay...
Hi Daniel, thank you for the very nice review. Hope the rest of your trip goes well and i'm glad you liked the house and the Georgetown area. I also chuckled a bit when I saw the word plethora in a review before. Thanks again. Tim
The cabin was wonderful. It had everything we needed and more. I would stay there again. The only issue was the parking was limited but with a mountain cabin I guess that is to be expected. Thank you.
Thank you Doris for the nice review, yes parking can be a problem up in the mountains, not a lot of space to maneuver if you have 3 or more cars. Tim
