Relaxing in the condo or out on the lanai is luxurious and refreshing. We have just purchased a new KING bed so you can plan on a good night's sleep, too! The AC in the bedroom is a bit noisy ... but it cools off the room within a few minutes and then the ceiling fan can purr quietly all night to keep you cool. In order to keep it healthy for everyone, PLEASE -- No Smoking in the condo or on the lanai.

Great location, wonderful condo, marvelous views of the waves and Incredible Value

What a wonderful condo! The location can't be beat -- so close to the Kailua village, the great farmers market and of course the ABC stores! We saved a LOT by not eating/drinking out very much -- not because there weren't some good options in town but because the view from the lanai was SO refreshing and relaxing, we opted to 'dine in' (and enjoy our coffee and wine with incredible views of the water). The rental rate for this condo is VERY reasonable -- I have already recommended it to several friends. As beautiful as the pictures are on the web site, they don't begin to do it justice. Book this condo early -- Debi has a lot of us return guest so her calendar fills up quickly. Thanks Debi for sharing your condo -- it is such a great place for our trips to Kona! We enjoy interacting with you as we look forward to our fabulous trips to Kona.

Wonderful Kona location!

This condo has a stunning view and a wonderful location in Kona. It's walking distance to many restaurants and shops and an easy drive to spots south and north of town. The condo was clean and provided all we needed and more. The owner is very communicative and helpful.

Beautiful! Hope to stay here again!

This condo absolutely exceeded our expectations! Excellent location, spotlessly clean, and owner was very responsive.

We had a small problem with locating the air pump for the sofa bed initially, but Debi immediately responded to my email, and the pump was located.

Condo is VERY well stocked, especially the kitchen. There is a small collection of things like seasonings and oils, too. Boogie boards, chairs, snorkel equipment, etc. We easily found everything, and it was neatly arranged. It appears to have fairly recent updates and upgrades, and the kitchen was just awesome!

The view was perfect, especially at sunset. There is a grassy area just over the rock wall, and you can walk up and down the area beside the rocks. The first day, a trio of probably thieves was hanging out around the rocks outside of our lanai. We made it apparent that we knew what they were up to, and they moved away. Maintenance came and ran them off, since the grassy area is private property. Other than this, we didn't see homeless people hanging around the condo or the beach. Just lock up when you leave. We never at any point felt unsafe.

Some reviewers mentioned the bedroom AC being noisy. It's a portable unit, and is right beside the bed. But it's white noise, which was perfect for me. Even with it off, we heard no noise from the street, neighboring units, or the pool area. Very quiet, family atmosphere. Property is well-kept.

Here was the best part for me. I use a walker or wheelchair, and we have difficulty finding a property and a unit to accommodate me. This one was perfect. We were able to easily get to our car and the pool using the ramps (inside gated pool area). I was able to get over the wall outside of our lanai, and use my walker to easily move around the grassy area. The unit itself is small, but everything was accessible. There is a lot of furniture in the bedroom, but I was still able to move around easily. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the bed, because the mattress is harder than I am used to. It was rough on my back, but I realize that everybody has different needs and wants when it comes to mattresses. A memory foam topper might be worth looking into.

Overall, a great stay and great communication with Debi, the owner. We hope that this unit is available next summer. This was our first visit to the big island, and it was so much better than we ever dreamed.

Best location on island to stay!

We had only one week to stay and see the Big Island. This condo is perfectly suited for hanging around, keeping it low-key OR visiting a lot of the island as we did. King bed is super comfy and the unit is well furnished and stocked. Debi is very responsive to any questions that might arise. Mahalo!♡

We had an amazing vacation at this condo. Great location within a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants in town. The condo included everything we needed for our trip (snorkels, fins, beach chairs, boogie boards). Thanks for lettting us stay in your place!

Beyond our highest expectations -- WONDERFUL owner interaction - HIGHLY recommend renting THIS condo

We have rented many vrbo accommodations -- NONE have been better than working with Debi. This condo was EXACTLY what we wanted: Immaculately clean, fully stocked with condo supplies, good outdoor equipment for us to borrow and a well-equipped kitchen (with lots of really nice 'extra' things that made our choice to cook easy -- so easy that we ate IN much more frequently than we normally do on vacation. The lanai was SUCH a beautiful setting that we chose to eat there instead of going out so often! -- the gorgeous pictures of the lanai view don't even do the reality justice...... the ocean is RIGHT there!! We felt like we had a private ocean-front dining venue every night -- and morning, too!)

The king-sized bed is new and the sheets were lovely and fresh. We had plenty of towels: ones for bathing, some to use by the pool and others to take to the beach -- really appreciated the options! They have a new air conditioning unit in the bedroom that we never needed to use but it was nice to know it was an option if needed.

The bathroom is nicely remodeled with a great walk-in shower. There was plenty of space in the bathroom cupboards for all our personal toiletries -- made it nice to be able to spread it all out for our stay.

We WILL come back to this condo again and again .... We even reserved dates for our next stay before we had to depart! We appreciate the direct connection we had with Debi and see the HUGE benefit for working directly with an owner ... instead of renting a condo that is managed by a business or realtor. Debi made this PERSONAL and we really appreciated her individual touches and attention to details.

She made it easy for us to feel right at home and to fully be able to enjoy our special time in Kona.
