Our four-bedroom, two-bath cabin is nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky mountains between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge just off the 441 spur. This log home sits approximately two miles from Pigeon Forge and four miles from Gatlinburg making it very convenient to either location.
Comfort, accessibility, and value is our theme and we strive to make our chalet a location you will want to visit again and again. The view from the back upper deck (one of three decks) is unmatched, especially as you sit in the hot tub viewing the five mountain ranges. We have made our vacation home a home that we are excited to return to and we know that you will be too.
All attractions are within ten minutes of the front door of our home, but just far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle on those occasions when you choose to just relax.

For years, we had been traveling to the Smokies and staying in different chalets and cabins. We finally decided to find one of our own and we feel we hit the jackpot. Besides the great location, between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, we have million dollar views along with our well appointed cabin.
As most of us know, vacationing can get quite expensive. Fortunately, we are able to enjoy ourselves just spending time at the cabin relaxing in the hot tub or enjoying our other amenities, including the view. For the times we choose to leave the cabin, we are within 5-10 minutes of Dollywood and Pigeon Forge and the same amount of time from Gatlinburg. Both cities and the surrounding area have much to offer.
Hi Marvin and Kim: Just wanted to tell you we spent another wonderful time in your cozy mountain retreat. It was great! This time, unlike last year when we brought family members, we spent more time in the cabin, where we read by the fireplace, soaked in the hottub, and walked the mountain roads for exercise. We also took our share of naps and went into town a couple of times and over to the Chimney Picnic area where we sloshed through some snow. It was a much needed rest for two seniors who left behind a busy family, including eight grandkids whom we see weekly, and a baby we watch daily. Thanks for everthing and much luck to you all and your partner in the future. Loved your other cabin, too. Had the mountain top to ourselves; it was the best! God bless you both. Love, Cindy and Gary Schultz
Our family had a lovely stay at this cabin. It was convenient to many of the activities we planned to do. It was clean and there were plenty of towels, which was nice. The only thing we wished it would have had was an additional half bath on the main level. Still a beautiful place to stay.
We had a great time at this cabin. The views are wonderful and the hot tub was a plus! Owner is easy to work with.
I took a youth group to Gatlinburg this past week and we stayed at "Hibernation Station". Let me start by saying that dealing with the owners was a pure pleasure. They did everything in their power to make our stay wonderful, and that is just what it was. The setting is shear beauty. The view from every side is amazing. The cabin is well appointed and sleeps everyone very well (we had 10 in all). The trip into Gatlinburg from the cabin is quick and you are right there in the action, but when you head back for the evening, you are in a place a solitude. It was a great experience and we would gladly stay again!
We had a wonderful time in your cabin. The bedroom on the main floor was very nice! Much nicer than the pictures. The rest of the cabin was exactly as the pictures show! The owners were easy to get in touch with and easy to talk to. We will be staying again!
Really enjoyed the cabin, its location and the game room for the kids. My experience and communication with the owners, Marvin and John was as good as the cabin itself. They were both very timely in responding, very accommodating and a true pleasure speaking with. The cabin was as described, was clean and very comfortable for our family. I would highly recommend this cabin and would stay there again. Thank you for allowing us in your home.
We had a wonderful time in the "Hibernation Station" ... Just the right size, and cozy for a family of 13... The Kids never left the game room, and The parents didn't interupt!! LOL, we had a great Thanksgiving lunch, with a great thanks to great appliances. crock pot for fresh hot coco...and a Large table and bar for the kids to enjoy.
we plan to already re book for next year!!! Thanks Marvin, Kim and John....
