Since we also enjoy staying at our condo, we have set it up to be comfortable and family friendly. You will find that it is much easier to hop on the free shuttle at the ski base lodges than trudging with skis and boots to ski-in/ski-out lodging.

Our unit is located in the LobLolly Building which is a 8 unit building, no long hallways, multiple doorways and stairways. It is located next to the community pool/hot tub/sauna building, steps from the free shuttle bus stop and no where near a road. The only sounds you hear are the rustling in the tall pine trees, the rushing of the river and the sounds of nature at play.

About Diana Nice

Our Family hiking in the mountains.

Diana Nice purchased this condo in 2009

Why Diana Nice chose Northwest

We have been looking for a mountain condo in Keystone for 5 years. This one meet all our requirements, spacious family room and dining area, quiet bedrooms away from family room, forest and river view, ground floor with large patio and kid friendly complex and amenities.

What makes this condo unique

The sound of the river can be heard when the sliding glass door is open. The crowds and noise of the busy ski area locations cannot be heard in our quiet, peaceful forest setting but are a short free shuttle bus ride away. The bike path and a kid friendly hiking loop along the river and past the teepees is just down the hillside about 100 feet.

Our family of four highly enjoyed our stay in this condo. It is very clean and has everything one might need. The setting is great, very quiet, only disturbed by the noise of the charming Snake river. Communication with the owners is easy and efficient.

This rental is just as described and the pictures give an accurate representation - great location

  • 5 of 5

This is a great rental that is a short shuttle ride to and from the slopes and has everything you need for a quiet and relaxing end to a busy day on the mountain. The owners are very helpful and respond quickly if you ever have any questions. It was very convenient to be so close to the slopes and have the shuttle service so our group could come and go as they needed as opposed to everyone packing up at the same time or waiting for others to finish. It is also a short drive to shopping and great local dining along with rental equipment if needed. The boys took advantage of the community hot tub and pool to wind down after a busy day. Thanks again for a great trip. BW

Relaxing time

We really enjoyed our stay in early June and found it to be a great place to relax and unwind. The condo was well equipped to meet all of our needs and convenient to many amenities. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to staying there again.

Great ski week

  • 5 of 5

My wife and my two teenage girls spent six days/five nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. This unit has quite a bit of room and is very well appointed. My kids are always glued to their electronics, but the large selection of games in this unit drove them to put down their devices and spend hours playing good, "old fashion" games together as a family -- everything from monopoly to Jenga. (Of course, the wireless internet got a lot of use also.) For skiing, the slopes are a short ride on the shuttle and I imagine it is a great location for the warmer season also. Bottom line -- We highly recommend this condo!

Best Condo Rental Ever!

  • 5 of 5

We were only here 3 nights (after staying in Breckenridge for a week), but I wish it had been longer! We've been renting ski condos every year for 20 years now, and I have to say this was probably the most comfortable unit we've been in. It's larger than most (space to spread out), is loaded (great TV, games, puzzles, movies, fully equipped kitchen), REAL wood-burning fireplace (sorry, the gas units just don't do it for us), modern décor, clean, with new carpeting and very comfortable couches and beds. In short, a perfect place to crash after a good day of skiing! Pool and hot tubs in the community building were great (couldn't understand why more people weren't using them, but no complaints!) First floor unit made moving gear in and out a breeze. Ski shuttle was easy to manage (though I wish it dropped us off a bit closer to the lifts), and Keystone slopes were much less crowded than Breck. Add in a caring and responsive owner, and this is a place that I would highly recommend to anyone! Only wish I were back there right now....

Perfect Peaceful Vacation Spot

  • 5 of 5

My Dad and I started going to Keystone over 4 years ago. We have made it our own tradition to come up and enjoy the slopes every year for a week or two. This was the perfect condo for everything you could want to do. The condo itself was very cozy, clean, great decor, and organized efficiently. The kitchen has every cooking gadget you would need and even some spices. There are two bedrooms. One bedroom has one full size bunk bed and another twin size bunk bed, the other bedroom has a king size bed and flat screen tv. The view out of the living room is incredible, with a hiking trail not far down the hill. The hiking trail is a fun thing to do for a relaxing afternoon, even with heavy snow. There are some great views along the river. The large TV and wood burning fireplace make for a great night in. The indoor pool and hot tubs are a short walk away, with showers and laundry room in the same facility. The only downside is Keystone Resort is notorious for not maintaining their hot tubs. The hot tub jets weren't working for the first few days of our trip. This has happened to us before in other parts of the resort. The condo is also on the free shuttle route. Just a side note, you have to get on the West Route shuttle, be dropped off at Mountain House and catch the River Run Village shuttle, if that's where you're going. The Village to Village shuttle is $7. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a great place to stay.
