The house offers a great viewing spot for the activities that make Port Clyde one of the most interesting and vibrant harbors in Maine. Enjoy watching the sail boats navigating the harbor as fishermen and lobstermen haul their daily catch.
This inviting home is wonderful for small families with one floor living, low clutter and a very open layout with wonderful views of Port Clyde Harbor out to Monhegan Island. The half acre lawn is flat and open making for great games of catch or just running around.
Accommodations- Harbor house offers very clean and comfortable accommodations with the entire house completely renovated in 2006. The house has been completely repainted, has had new floors installed and has all new furnishings. The house is appointed in neutral colors with a nautical feel allowing the beautiful natural surroundings to be the main focal point. The master bedroom has a California King bed overlooking the Bay, and the second bedroom is decorated in a nautical theme and has two twin beds.
The living room that also overlooks the ocean has a queen size sofa bed. The views from this house are quite memorable. If you are lucky enough to have a full moon, the reflection off the water will be unforgettable. Its also not a bad place to wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee while gazing out across the water through the big bay window.
Location location location- Harbor house is ideally situated with many amenities within walking distance yet it still offers peacefulness and serenity. Within two minutes you can walk to the Port Clyde General store, the Ice Cream shop, the boat launch, the kayak launch or dockside dining. Marshall Point Lighthouse and Drift Inn beach are are also lovely walks from the house (around 1 mile).

About the owner: Owners live in Greenwich CT and fell in love with Port Clyde Maine after driving up and down the coast for 2 years. The place has a 'yesteryear' feeling about it that is a wonderful experience for children growing up in faster paced environments.
