About Lori Faure

We live in Bozeman and are avid skiers. We LOVE our condo and our local ski areas and are so happy to share it all with travelers from around the country.

Lori Faure purchased this townhome in 2009

Why Lori Faure chose Big Sky

Montana and the Big Sky area are such beautiful places, Firelight Meadows is centrally located so we are close (by Montana standards) to all the fun summertime and, of course, wintertime activities. DirecTV with NFL Sunday ticket and WIFI.

What makes this townhome unique

I am very familiar with the area and I can help you plan your vacation. We can also help you find another condo if you need multiple units for large family gatherings.

Nearest Airport
30 Miles

Our condo is centrally located, an hour away from Bozeman Montana, an hour away from West Yellowstone and the west enterance to Yellowstone National Park. Big sky resort and moonlight basin are just up the road, you can either take a free and convenient bus ride up the hill, or its just a short 10 minute drive. Both resorts offer all kinds of winter and summer activities. In the summer the area offers a variety of activities to choose from including kayaking, zip lining, white water rafting, blue ribbon fly fishing, tennis, hiking mountain biking and golfing in beautiful mountain settings. You can also experience the free concert series at big sky town center, also the location of the weekly farmers market on Wednesday's. During the winter you can experience Nordic skiing, alpine skiing, and snowmobiling.

The condo is in a great location! Close to town center where there is a grocery store, restaurants, movie theater, ice skating rink and retail shops including a rental shop for skates and skis and a liquor store, you won't have to drive far to find what you need. If your planning to go out to dinner, Olive B's is one of my favorites, the hungry moose grocery has great breakfast burritos and coffee if you want to grab something to go, the blue moon bakery has yummy sit down breakfast, there is also a great sushi place (yes! Sushi in Montana) and the Lotus Pad Thai restaurant next to it is outstanding as well. Up on the mountain there are great restaurants as well. During the winter you can take a cat ride into the woods for a home cooked meal and sledding at a yurt. Lots of yummy pizza to be deliver too if you just want to stay in, heck, the hungry moose will even deliver your groceries!

The condo is nicely appointed with plenty of dishes, pans, silverware, spices, coffee maker, toaster and blender, you can even do laundry if you feel the need.

Great family vacation chalet

  • 4 of 5

Great location for skiing although not in ski base area. Having the shuttle stop right next door allowed my kids to come and go from the slopes as they pleased. When we drove, it was only a short distance to the slopes. If we had had more time we would have enjoyed going to the movies and exploring the shopping area right down the street. Very convenient. The chalet was very quiet and peaceful. I never heard a thing from neighbors, even on New Year's Eve! Inside, everything was very cozy and clean. No problems at all. The owner was super nice and helpful. She put a lot of effort into making sure we had a good time when we were there.

I would definitely recommend you stay there

Our family stayed at this condo and had a wonderful time. The condo was very comfortable and enjoyable. The hot tub was just what we needed after a day of skiing and snomobiling. The condo is at a great location - easily accessible to Big Sky, Moonlight Basin, and snowmobiling.

Perfect Holiday Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

What a charming family getaway. This home easily accommodated our family of 5 and our host had everything we needed, from a stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and even a nice movie selection. This is at such a convenient location, with stores, restaurants and shops just a short drive away (we even caught a couple of movies at the theater), and since we came to ski the shuttle pickup right outside the door was perfect for us to gear up, hop on, and get to the slopes. Our nights were finished by the fire, watching movies and playing games. A final thanks to our host for the recommendation to do the sleigh ride dinner at Lone Mountain Ranch - we went on New Years Eve and had such a great time! This is a good vacation home in a community made for family memories!

Just like home!

  • 5 of 5

This townhome was the PERFECT place to stay while enjoying everything Big Sky has to offer. Its close to everything- access to the Gallatin, hiking and biking trails, golf, YNP, restraunts and shopping. It was stocked and had everything we needed from the dishes to the towels. It really did feel like home and the owners went out of their way to make it special for us. We would definitely return to this one!
