Bungalow, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-6)
This is a 1943 beach bungalow that has been completely remodeled inside and out with a designers flair. With its easy breezy relaxed beach decor and solid wood floors you are truly transported back to simpler times the minute you walk through the doors. The kitchen has a light and bright retro beachy theme with an authentic 1950's O'Keefe and Merritt stove/oven with a center heating element to make your favorite pancakes on. However all the modern day technology is available too, ie. 46' LCD screen with cable, DVD, and dvr available plus wifi so you can bring your own laptop. The new bathroom features a claw foot tub/shower to relax in after a day at the beach with an endless supply of on demand hot water already set at a comfortable 115 degrees. All you have to do is flip the handle.
The front yard has been professionally landscaped including a 'sandy beach' area with two Adirondack chairs so you can view the endless parade of sailboats and windsurfers. The back yard is fenced in to provide safety for your children away from the street. The back yard has a small grassy area, hot tub, sunning deck, patio and bbq.
If you choose to do nothing but read on your vacation we've taken care of that too. There is a small library of paperback books available for you to choose from. And if you bring a book you've already read and no longer want feel free to participate in the book exchange. Take a book/leave a book.
There are a few restaurants within a few minutes including a short walk over the bridge to the Barefoot Beach Club where you can enjoy your food while observing the sharks and fish swimming along in their enclosed waterway that surrounds the outside eating patio.

About Terri Miller
I love having a place in San Diego I can go to any time and love sharing it with other families who love staying in a home away from home. The minute I walk through the door I immediately feel relaxed and know I'm on vacation. I have a ton of books there and have fun just picking one out to read each time I go. But anything I want to do seems so accessible there. I can watch the sail boats right outside my door every day or rent one if I want to do it myself. I can kayak. Or take a bike ride down to the beach but I don't have to put up with the parking problems. At night I can watch the fireworks at Sea World from my front yard. I love it there and want other people to enjoy it too.
Terri Miller purchased this Bungalow in 2008
Why Terri Miller chose Crown Point
Location. And views. San Diego is a fun, active community with the best weather in the country. We are so close to all things San Diego. Right on the waters of Mission Bay in Pacific Beach, access to boardwalk just across the street. A short drive to downtown, Coronado Island, LaJolla, Sea World, the list goes on. The best of everything. A quiet neighborhood within minutes of the freeways and beaches. A true getaway.
What makes this Bungalow unique
It's cozy and comfortable. Great views. It's been recently renovated from top to bottom, inside and out. The back yard has a bbq and hot tub. So after a long day at the beach, which is nearby, I look forward to relaxing in my own back yard. The boardwalk to the beach is right outside my door where I can ride my bike or walk my dog.

Great location equipped with everything you need and more
Our family if 5 had an amazing time; relaxing in the hot tub, playing in the sand out front, walks shell hunting every evening on the bay, we will return to the bungalo on the bay!
Very relaxing house, great outdoor living space, plenty of room for a family of five.
Would have given a 5.0 star review but we had some hot water heater (cold showers) and laundry issues (older appliances) and the pots/pans have all been well used. Also wanted to mention that the driveway is just beyond/before a curve and that Riviera Dr is a main street along the water that gets a lot of motorist that do not always adhere to the speed limits. We had to really watch the kids crossing the street and backing out of the driveway. Terri was very responsive to our needs.
Hi Dan, sorry about the inconveniences. I wasn’t aware of your laundry issue. The laundry unit meant for guests in the house is only just over a year old. You shouldn’t have had any problems with that. I have had the water heater serviced since your departure. I didn’t realize you had to take cold showers. You had said the unit was flashing a code but was still producing hot water. Otherwise I would have had it serviced while you were there. As far as the curve, it’s best to walk to the corner when crossing the street with little ones. Traffic is intermittent and speed limit is 25 mph. So typically it’s not difficult pulling out of driveway. Cars will slow to let you in or out accordingly. Traffic at night is virtually non existent, mostly local traffic heading home.
Spring Break Heaven
This location was the perfect spring break getaway. Our entire family loved it. The home is quaint and cozy. We all enjoyed the hot tub each night after a long day of playing.
Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your home!
Big, beautiful backyard and bikes!
We loved this place. 5 women for the weekend in San Diego- comfortable sleeping arrangements, room to relax, spacious bathroom. We will definitely be coming back to stay! Terri was so helpful and responsive. It was also SO perfect to be able to use the beach cruisers. LOVE.
Didn’t want to leave!!!!!
Amazing home that was clean, comfortable and cozy! The moment we walked in we knew it was special. So many personal effects that truly made this like home but with a tremendous view and convenient to so many attractions. The two boys enjoyed sand building in the front yard while we enjoyed a margarita watching the boats go by and the beautiful sunsets. Quiet at night and the beds were so comfortable! Nobody wanted to leave! Terri was available for any questions during our stay. Oh and the hot tub was so relaxing to end the day. Can’t wait to come back!!! This is a gem!
Thank you Karen!! I can’t wait to have you and the boys back. :)
Just like the pictures- great getaway!
The house was great, well equipped with everything we could need for the beach! We went to mission beach just down the road- and also enjoyed the bike trail that’s right in front of the house. Great backyard too! My kids enjoyed the kid friendly touches and the hot tub- they even took pictures of the stuffed animals because they will miss them :) thanks for sharing your home with us.
Thanks Tiffany, I’m so happy you and your kids enjoyed everything. I try to make my home as family friendly as possible.
Great location...50 feet to jogging path/boardwalk that meanders around the bay. Literally minutes from rollercoaster on Pacific Beach, ocean and downtown San Diego to include Gas lamp District, Chargers Stadium and Petco Park where the San Diego Padres play. Boat races at certain times of year within walking distance.
