Beautiful home, great Fremont location, well appointed, comfortable and cozy.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed for a month to explore the Seattle area. This home was such a great place to stay. It's well stocked with what you need when you are staying away from home and want to enjoy cooking at home and not eating out. Parking was always available on the street near the house. Views from the porch were great. You can see Queen Ann and Magnolia, some water on the canal and sometimes the boats coming through, and on a clear day you can see Mount Olympus and the Olympic National Park off in the distance. Great place to watch a sunset! Just what we needed for a relaxing stay in Seattle.

Thanks so much to Jody and Tom for sharing their beautiful home.

We loved our stay! The house was a quick walk to Fremont and a quick bus or Lyft ride to Ballard. It's location makes all of Seattle's attractions easily accessible. The house has everything you need for a great stay.

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved this rental. It was just as advertised and perfect for our month-long stay.

There was enough space for the two of us to work from home without feeling cramped. The property was clean, fully stocked, and well taken care of, and the bed was super comfortable. The patio and view are also fantastic and we very much enjoyed sitting out there on sunny afternoons.

We found the location convenient to cafes, bars and restaurants in Fremont and central to surrounding neighborhoods as well as getting downtown or further north.

Jody, the owner, was very responsive to any questions that came up.

It was perfect for our time spent in Seattle!

Comfortable stay at Baker Ave Bungalow

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this nicely rennovated bungalow near the heart of Fremont. Almost everything we needed was provided and there was plenty of storage and room to move around. The deck with the view over the working canal is very nice and sunsets are on full display. As previous reviewers have mentioned the west facing windows can be an issue on hot summer days (we stayed the month of August), but the heat is manageable with the shades and letting the breezes come through the open windows on all sides of the house. Before booking I had thought that parking might be a problem on the street, but to my pleasant surprise we almost always got a spot right in front of our bedroom window. We felt like the neighborhood was very safe and it was nice and quiet. Restaurants, shops and the canal are only a short walk away and just one short steep hill to worry about on the way back up.

The booking process was smooth and Jodi was available to answer messages before we arrived. This was our first VRBO experience and it did not disappoint!
