REAL WORLD HOUSE!!!!! Reviews said like living a weekend in the REAL WORLD TV SERIES!!! You can see the intersection of Beale and South Main from the front door!

PARK YOUR CARS IN MY PRIVATE GATED TWO CAR ENCLOSED GARAGE!

There are SEVEN sleeping areas with SIX being bedrooms. The 6th bedroom is accessed off the 2nd floor guest bedroom. It shuts for privacy for both bedrooms. The 6th bedroom has a day bed. There are four queen beds, 1 full daybed, and 4 twin beds. I also have two leather sofas in the living room, but, I do not encourage usage as a bed. There are two full baths--one with a Jacuzzi and a stand alone shower, and a half bath on the main floor. For a total of three bathrooms.

This house is on South Main in the South Main Arts District--THE most desirable address downtown! Only step out the door for the trolley, or walk the two well lighted blocks to Beale! No dark side streets here!

The property is GATED with a back entrance that takes you directly into a PRIVATE TWO CAR GARAGE on the first of a four-level home. The house has THREE NEW ORLEANS style GATED patios facing South Main! There are no unsecured entrances. This is the friendliest, most fun block in Memphis. You will feel very safe and indulged during your stay.

I originally bought this property as a single professional woman that works long hours as a professional writer-- and wanted a place that brought me privacy---but allowed great opportunity to meet people and for entertainment. I have been able to sit and write for long hours.......and then walk out of my house on to South Main that is just alive with excitement. My heart always beats faster when I walk South Main toward Beale St. I LOVE DOWNTOWN MEMPHIS--YOU WILL TOO!

What makes this house unique

WALK TO FEDEX FORUM two blocks, Orpheum Theater two blocks........BEALE Street is two blocks...WALK TO ALL EVENTS!!! You can actually SEE the Orpheum, Beale St., and FedEX from different vantage points in my townhouse. Frank’s Deli is located a few short steps across the street, and will deliver food and liquor to your door. The Green Beatle Sports Bar and Restaurant is located adjacent to Frank’s Deli across the street and will also deliver food and liquor to your door. The Rumba Room, VERY popular party place, is located across the street adjacent to the Green Beatle. They give FREE dance lessons to prepare you for the night! Hollywood Disco, THE premiere party place in Memphis is located right behind my house. You can walk to it from my gated back entrance. The owner owns a house adjoining mine. So, you’ll have automatic entry into the VIP room. Two short blocks from the world famous Orpheum Theater where major Broadway plays are always scheduled. The FedEx Arena for sports events, including the Memphis Grizzlies, and major musical events featuring world famous musicians. S. Main Gallery Walk last Friday of every month, where art galleries stay open late, FREE trolley rides all over downtown, and just general downtown party atmosphere.

Review Submitted June 11, 2012 Date of Stay June 7, 2012 Our group booked both units. Prior to booking each unit, Linda was very helpful with any questions or concerns I had. I sent her 500 emails and she answered each one with a joyful and helpful attitude. That put me at ease for such an expenditure. We were arriving from all over the country and I was nervous. Linda put me at ease and helped make the booking easy-breezy. We rented both condos for our mini-vacation and was not disappointed. Each unit is more than the pictures could possibly display. Each unit had personal and welcoming touches that made you feel at home. The colors were wonderful, the furnishings gorgeous and the ambiance was inviting. Everything you could ever need was available or had already been anticipated. We were met by Karen (Manager) who walked us through each property and made herself available if we needed anything or had any questions. She even checked up on us to see if we needed anything.... Wonderful. The units were well maintained, clean and beyond all things ....ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Beale Street is only 2 blocks away, but the units are so nice we ended up spending more time there than on Beale Street. Also, the units are located in an area that is thriving with art and wonderful stores. The Green Beetle across the street was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and a wealth of information. We took a stroll down Main St and found wonderful restaurants and stores (opposite direction of Beale St.). The Trolley runs right in front of the unit and you can easily travel anywhere downtown. When we come back to Memphis, we will book these units again. No one (out of 11 people) was disappointed and THAT'S saying a lot for 11 picky people. Actually, no one wanted to leave ...LOL... we are trying to figure out how to convince Linda to sell us this unit.... Oh Wait ... can NOT leave without saying something about the 'Man Cave'. Even the women loved it ... and THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING. Thank you Linda for these units. You made our stay unique and wonderful. Rating:

In the heart of the entertainment district. Restaurants and sports bar across street will deliver food..3,000 sq foot immaculate home on four levels each with balcony/patio for street view. Have manager that lives in the neighborhood that will greet you with keys, codes, and the house tour. She is available to you 24/7 during your visit. This is the arts district with art galleries stretching all down S. Main. The Orpheum Theater, FED EX Arena, and Beale Street may be viewed from my house as they are all within 2 blocks. The trolley line is 15 steps from my front door to ride all over downtown for $1.00. No walking blocks in the dark or heat to catch the trolley!!!!!! Just step out the front door!

Perfect location!

Perfect location! Having 2 coffee pots was a lifesaver for our large group. The beds were super comfy. We loved having ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We will definitely come back!

Unparalleled Convenience

Perfect location!

This condo was located on Main street allowed us to walk everywhere and when enjoying time together on the front porch and even sitting on the bench on the sidewalk we saw some crazy sites and meet lots of interesting people.

WONDERFUL

These houses were Perfect!

We had 14 people traveling with us and 104 Vance and 324 South Main worked out Great!

They are in the perfect location - walked to Beale Street and everywhere during our stay. We did not use a car or Uber one time. We loved hanging out at the Greenbeetle across the street and the Oyster house was fantastic - highly recommend is you like oysters.

Main Street has alot going on and we had fun hanging out on the front porch and interacting with the peopel on the streets. Linda was wonderful to work with - very responsive when we had questions. Lori the house manager was also a delight to work with.

I would highly recommend these houses to anyone that wants to visit Memphis and have a great time!

the house was very clean and comfortable. beds were comfortable. appliances were new and worked good

Had off street parking which wa nice. Conventiently located 4-5blocks from all kinds of restaurants, museums, taverns, and Fedex arena.

All bedrooms were up stairs. They all had closets but no chest of drawers.

Owner's Response: Ouch! Not use to 4 stars on this amazing property. I have 121 reviews, with (now) a 4.9 out of 5 rating! Oh, well.................. The criticism of not having a chest of drawers is unique. There are two sources for clothing storage in each bedroom. There is a closet in each bedroom with shelving and a night stand by the bed with two deep drawers. Renters have found this sufficient--as this is not a long term rental. As owners now rate renters, I gave this renter five stars as they were a terrific group and left the house in great condition. I hope that they will return as they are exactly the kind of renter I seek. I regret that he found not having three sources of storage in each bedroom for his clothing to be problematic.
