Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Ron & Judy,

Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity to be in this magnificient house of yours! I loved the s;pectacular view! My favorite activities were ping-pong, pool, and fishing. It was so convenient to fish. That is why we did it almost every day. We also went to Crater Lake! Thanks so much.

Ps. I am just 10 years old!!!

Fun had by all

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time there. We really enjoyed the games. The pool table and the ping pong table were in constant use, but the real surprise was the tetherball. That certainly brought us back to our youth. Tournaments abound and winners and losers all had a good time.

Owner's Response: We are delighted to hear about the tether ball fun. The set was installed a few weeks ago. It is a good quality set for all ages. We are also going to install a zip line as well as planning a disk golf course. Thanks for your comments. Ron Wallace LVR

Deluxe retreat

  • 5 of 5

This "cabin" is actually more like a home that has every amenity (except for a pie plate!) that you could want for a stay with family or friends. The home is well-lit and has amazing views through the large windows throughout the home. The gas fireplace warms the living room well and the sauna is a treat (just make sure you preheat it an hour or more before you intend to use it, otherwise you will be sitting for awhile in a cold room...rookie move on my part). We have two small children (one 9, one 16 months) and they both enjoyed our stay as well. My only gripe was with all of the kitchen accoutrements (there was everything) I couldn't find a pie plate! But I survived without my coconut cream pie and consoled myself by sitting in the sauna and sweating. Ahhh...so relaxing I wish I was there now.

Clean, comfortable cabin with gorgeous mountain view

  • 5 of 5

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay in the cabin. We spent an enjoyable Thanksgiving week there and cooked dinner. It was cold, but the wall heaters work great and the electric fireplace warms as well as adds ambiance. They had also decorated the living room for the holidays, which added a festive and cheery atmosphere. It has a well-equipped kitchen, piped music via satellite, pool table, ping pong table. The bathrooms were clean. There is a double shower in the master bathroom and sauna. Having been in the area before, we stocked up on food because we didn't want to drive to the nearest town. There's plenty to do in the cabin and in the area. We hiked (trails are close by) quite a bit. All of us give the cabin 2 thumbs up!

We just loved everything about this place and would come back again anytime

  • 5 of 5

We just loved this place, we were only stayed 4 days and it just wasn't long enough we could have stayed a lot longer and probably will next time. The cabin is so spacious and well set out the pool table is a fantastic extra as well as the table tennis table, and that's not including the outside games which are another bonus the seating areas and beds are so comfortable, we could not fault this place and would like to thank you both for sharing your beautiful home with us. I'm sure we will return
