Cross the causeway, take a deep breath and sigh! Island life beckons. Sandy beaches, world renown shelling and plenty of recreation can be yours in our beachfront condominium. This two bedroom, two bath condo with queen sleeper in the living room sleeps up to six and features a screened balcony with gulf views off the master bedroom and living room. The unit is fully furnished and offers immediate access to miles of beaches, hiking and biking trails and Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge. For golf,tennis,fishing or shopping enthusiasts there is plenty of action as well.

Located on the first living level of a low density condominium development (3 buildings, 30 units total), our unit offers a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico. Tarpon Beach is a stilted complex with parking underneath each building as well as elevators.

As a convenience to our guests we also offer access to our lower level storage area where we provide 2 adult bikes, beach chairs and beach umbrella. For those needing to stay connected to life back home we offer WiFi internet access free of charge.

Sanibel and Tarpon Beach is our 'home away from home'. A little bit of paradise, we'd like to share with you.

About Ed & Lisa

We are from Wisconsin and started visiting Sanibel Island in 1996. Twelve years later we decided to buy a piece of paradise on Sanibel Island! We hope you decide to enjoy it too while staying at our condo.

Why Ed & Lisa chose Florida South West

Tarpon Beach Condominiums is a small property with 30 units total spread out over 3 buildings. We looked at other properties along the beach but were attracted to Tarpon Beach because of it's direct access to miles of beach. Be sure to ask how many units are on a property before renting!

What makes this condo unique

We are in Building #3 which has a direct view to the Gulf. Our pool area almost always has open lounges and often is empty with everyone down at the beach. Parking is always available and restaurants and shopping are a short walk or bike ride away.

Great Condo, Great Owner, and WHAT A VIEW!

We, who are in our 60s, stayed the week of January 14 in Tarpon Beach 302 and couldn't have been more pleased. The location is great -- for the beach, and for the places we like to eat and shop on both Sanibel and Captiva. Ed, the owner, called to check on our visit and was eager to receive any suggestions we might have. The condo is well-furnished. The beds are quite comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking eat-at-home meals. The beach is right outside the veranda. The pool is well kept, as are the grounds of the small condo group (3 buildings). We've stayed at several Sanibel condos the past few years, and Tarpon Beach 302 is at the top of our list. We hope stay there again.

This unit is great! The owners are awesome and truly make sure that the unit is something THEY would want to rent!

The view is something you never get tired of and the unit is very nicely appointed. Also, they provide plenty of items for beach/island life: beach towels, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, rafts, etc. If you are looking for a great condo in a very nice complex, on a wonderful island, this is it.

Lovely condo!

My family of four has been coming to Sanibel for going on 20 years now. We've never stayed in the same condo twice, but I think that may finally change! We usually stay on East Gulf, so moving down to West Gulf made us a little nervous, but we loved it! Everything was so convenient and, best of all, the beach here was filled with the best shells we've ever collected. We came home with at least 150 conch shells and lots of other gorgeous shells. The condo itself is just lovely, super comfortable master bed, very dark bedroom when the blinds are closed, comfy couches, nice kitchen, etc. There is a locked storage closet guests can use downstairs so they don't have to bring any toys, chairs, etc. up to the unit. This unit is on the first floor, but it is over a parking garage so you can see all the water and people walking - but not really the sand. There is an elevator right outside the unit for convenience or bringing up your luggage and groceries. There was plenty of parking and it wasn't a crowded complex - more quiet which is what we love. The owner and rental company both checked with us to make sure everything was ok. We are extremely picky (in fact this is the first review I've ever written) and I can say this is the place to stay if you want a quiet, relaxing vacation with your family.

Perfection

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Tarpon Beach! The condo was way beyond immaculate and above our expectations. The kitchen was stocked with every possible small appliance and utensil needed. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels. The master bedroom was so comfy, I can't remember when I had a good nights sleep on a mattress other than my own! The grounds are well kept and the pool was at a pleasing temprature. My kids were surprised daily with new bugs, birds and reptiles! The beach was prime seashell picking daily. We took home 3 ziploc bags of shells, coral and sponges!

The only downside-- no see ums! They are viscous little creatures that were combated with baby oil, OFF! and Lemongrass infused lotion. Thank you for providing a much needed relaxing family vacation. We hope to return in the future.

They are usually not a problem on the beach or by the pool during the day. Beautiful condo with spectacular view of the Gulf

This was our second time staying at Tarpon Beach and our first time staying in this particular condo. The condo is tastefully decorated, recently updated, well stocked and has an incredible view of the Gulf of Mexico. The pool is beautiful and never crowded due to the small size of the Tarpon Beach complex. Ed and Lisa were attentive owners and checked in on us during the week to make sure we had everything that we needed. They even provided a list of restaurants they enjoy when they are on Sanibel Island. We highly recommend this condo and will stay here again!
