We bought this house (we call it Antonine House) which adjoins our backyard in 2008 and did a complete historic renovation on it. It's nice. It has two large bedrooms, both with queen beds and personality. Only one bath, but it's got a Jacuzzi tub. The kitchen is small, but you're not coming to New Orleans to eat in. A nice living room, stereo, cable Flat Screen TV, lots of CDs and DVDs and books, and WiFi. All very comfortable. The one downside is that this is the second floor, so you have to climb stairs. But then you get the front gallery (porch) you can hang out on as a reward.

And we love our location. We're one house off Magazine street, right in the coolest section. Tons of great restaurants, bars, shopping of all kinds, coffeehouses - Magazine is a great street. And we're more than happy to give you all the guides and suggestions you need. We're locals, and know our way around New Orleans.

We're also inside the parade route, so we're only a few blocks from the Mardi Gras parades in a couple of directions.

We live in the house behind this house (facing the next parallel street) and have our offices on the first floor. There is a shared yard in between.

We are one house off Magazine on Antonine St. Lilette Restaurant is right on the corner and Baru Restaurant is a block away, also Le Petite Grocery, Coquette, Saveur, Shaya, Cavan... Plus, there are over 30 other restaurants within walking distance, plus boutiques, antique stores, interior design shops, cafes, a grocery store, and art galleries.

The apartment is cozy and modern with a New Orleans touch... a perfect perch for your New Orleans experience!

Fantastic rental

This apartment is amazingly convenient to the Garden District, yet quiet and tucked away. My family has stayed all over the French Quarter and Garden District, and this rental is at the top of the list. With comfortable beds, plush towels, and a cute balcony, you can't go wrong. We will definitely be back.

We loved the location, just steps of off Magazine St, in a nice quiet neighborhood. We loved the apartment! It is perfect for 2 couples. We would definitely like to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you so much!!! :)

Lovely home in a great location

I was very happy with this place. It's in a great location. It was nice to have a secure parking area behind a gate. I didn't have to worry about my car being broken into or hit in the street.

There are quite a few stairs to get to the front door, which wasn't an issue for us, but may be for some. It was the perfect size for a family of four. Although the master bedroom is gorgeous, the mattress is very firm. I think my daughters got the soft bed and slept much better than I did. Overall, we were very pleased with the beautiful home. It was very clean, very beautifully decorated, and in a great location. The owners were kind and helpful, answering all of our questions about places to eat and sightsee. I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to New Orleans!

Excellent aprtment and location

It's been just lovely ..the apartment is stylish , practical and well situatef . We've spent the hours and days sitting on the balcony smelling the evening jasmin, strolling past magazine street's pretty houses, funky shops ,bars and eateries and taking the fabulous street car into wonderful down town New Orleans....it couldn't be bettered.

It's a very nice play to stay

Very safe neighborhood. Lots of places nearby walking distance to get supplies or enjoy. A bus station to the French Quarter or the streetcar are very close. It's clean, historic and the owner has a accurate description of this home.
