If you want your quiet retreat this is your place to go. It is nice and as described. If your wanting hotel style amenities go to such a place. If your looking to just be at peace in this Cozy Red Cabin, this is it. I would be more than happy to come back to this property again.

Thanks for a wonderful time at you cabin.

Owner's Response: Thanks Joel! It is a cute cozy cabin -- I know because I lived there for 7 years before building the main house!

Rustic, Cozy, Warm

  • 3 of 5

We enjoyed an unusually warmer winter during our first trip to Pagosa Springs, which meant we enjoyed many hikes through the National Forest, one of which started from the front door of our cabin and into the mountains. The cabin is located on the south side of town, which meant easy access to Wolf Creek without driving through in-town tourist traffic. Pagosa Springs is a great destination, we look forward to returning to a different cabin in Pagosa in the near future!

Exceeded expectations

  • 5 of 5

Phenomenal little red cabin and great location. Furnished nicely for a short or extended stay. Owner is cool and funny, and allowing clean pets is a plus nowadays. Wi-Fi signal from the main house was randomly on/off, don't know why, but it's a vacation after all.

This cabin was all we needed to make a memorable Memorial Day Weekend. Good rate, owner super nice.

  • 4 of 5

First thing you should take into consideration is the close proximity of the cabin to old town Pagosa Springs. The privacy you get here is algo great. The cabin has an older feel to it, and that's part of the experience. Not a hotel stay by any reach of the imagination, but clean and all the basics provided. My three night stay turned into four, and would have stayed longer if I could.
