Escape to Sanibel Serenity…our Sanibel Island retreat. This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1200 square foot unit is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Sanibel Serenity is located in the Blind Pass Condominiums on the far west and “quiet” end of Sanibel Island. The complex is situated on a lagoon where you can boat and fish. Cross the lagoon by a private wooden foot bridge and you are on Bowman’s Beach – world famous for shelling, dolphin watching, white sands, and of course….plenty of opportunities for family fun and memories.
If you need a break from the beach, you can walk back over the foot bridge, past the shell cleaning station and shower for a dip in the heated pool. There are also two tennis courts and complimentary canoes and kayaks to keep you busy.
Located near Blind Pass are plenty of excellent restaurants for a quiet, romantic night or a fun night out with the family. Also within a stone’s throw is beautiful Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW), the Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum with children’s learning lab, and charming Captiva Island.
When you return to Blind Pass after a day of fun, you will find a tastefully decorated, sparkling clean unit. Good quality linens, new dishes, and cookware are a must for those nights you prefer to entertain at home. We also provide complimentary, wireless Internet Access in the unit…just in case you want to sit in your private screened-in double lanai, feel the breeze, and then let the breeze carry off an e-mail to your friends and family about the fabulous time you are having on SANIBEL ISLAND. Plus…you will find two tennis racquets, a beach umbrella, beach chairs, beach toys and plenty of indoor games to keep you relaxed and the kids busy!
Whether you are a couple getting away for a quiet, romantic vacation or a family looking to spend some quality time together, our condo offers something for everyone on this magical island.
We just returned from spending a week at this lovely condo. It is a beautifully furnished and decorated place. The owner has thought of everything when equipping this condo even down to additional bedding for extra visitors, toys, children's movies, a pack n play and other items for infants. The place was extremely clean and all appliances (including the TV) were very simple to operate. The lanai was lovely and very private with lots of bushes that hide the parking area. The beach is a short walk and was accessed through a very natural path, bridge over a lagoon and then a sandy path with protected dunes on either side. Cars are parked in a shaded area with protection from the elements and is well-maintained. The pool area is very nice with lots of chairs and restrooms. Check-in was very simple and the staff at the office were helpful and accommodating. The owner provided us with a lengthy list of things we might like to see and do, restaurants and local activities. The J.N. Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge was the jewel in the crown - a fabulous place to see local and migrant wildlife, well-structured, and so interesting. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner and I would highly recommend staying at this condo when going to Sanibel Island.
We just spent a wonderful week in this very comfortable condo and would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to collect shells, swim in the Gulf, appreciate the wonders of nature, or just simply sit back and relax. The condo itself has everything you need--a big screened-in lanai to sit outside in, big bedrooms, a spacious living and dining area, and good-sized kitchen. It also has a pool if you'd prefer that to the Gulf. But we loved the latter so never really got to the pool. But what probably struck us the most was the setting--a mere 5-minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach through some of the most interesting wildlife you can imagine--everything from ospreys and herons to alligators and all sorts of fish and crabs. This is really a wild-life refuge, not just a resort and there's always something to see on the way to the beach.
So...come and enjoy this beautiful place. We did.
Just returned from our vacation at Blind Pass. We had such a great time! Our Condo was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The property is beautiful, the pool is very nice and clean, and you can't beat the short walk to the beautiful beach. The condo had everything we needed for cooking and eating meals, games for the kids, Beach toys, TV's and DVD players in every room. We would definitely go back again.
