Fishing out the back door - great location!

  • 5 of 5

What a great location you have and the sound of the Gore Creek thru the windows at night is so nice! The place & Kitchen is very well equipped with blenders, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. We did not locate any BBQ utensils, but we wanted for nothing in the kitchen. I love the Starbucks mugs from all over, next time we will bring one to add to the collection. There was always competition for the recliner as well, great chair! Nice spacious sectional too. It is beautifully updated as well, bathrooms are beautiful. If you do not like stairs, it might be a challenge. The main floor is on the second level with the deck out back and one out front too! The back porch on the river is exquisite, and we spent most of our time there! My husband was in the river every chance he got. We found the umbrella in the garage and chair cushions in the downstairs closet which made it even more comfortable when the sun was shining. I even found a yoga mat and used it for some morning salutations by the river! The rooms and beds are very comfortable and the steam shower and large tub in the master suite is a real treat! We had a hard time figuring out the main floor TV, but we weren't there to watch TV, but it might need a few instructions for those who do. We were able to access music which was mostly what we played upstairs anyway. It is only a 10 minute drive to get to Vail Village and a short bike ride to Lionshead, a little longer to Vail, but nice along the river. I think the walk into Vail would take about an hour depending on how fast you walk. We did not take the shuttle, but the stop is only out the driveway on the Frontage Road to take it to Vail. Super convenient to stores as well, just across the Hwy. Lovely host and easy to reach, if needed, and answered any questions promptly. What a gem you have! We will be back. Thanks so much for sharing your special place. The Roske Family

Love Vail

  • 5 of 5

The condo was great. We had 3 couples. Very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and stocked with more than just the essentials. The porch was great too with all the spring sunshine. Board games, cards, etc.

Consistent quality.

For the old-man lacrosse tourney late June/early July 2014, we had the pleasure to stay in this condo again (our 4th/5th time in condo - lose count), which is centered on the south frontage road between the grocery store exit in West Vail and Lions Head. It's a great location, priced appropriately, and well-kept. Condo is three floors (two stair cases), 2BR on entry floor, with full laundry and good-sized bath; LR, fully-stocked K/DR on middle floor, and vanity bath; and master suite with very comfy bed and to-die-for bath (spa tub plus a steam/multi-shower-head shower) on top floor. Well-ventilated, deck overlooking Gore Creek, deck off the kitchen looking at north ridge, front-door parking, adjacent to bus route, and within walking distance to Donovan Park (for lacrosse games). We highly recommend rental 281527 to anybody who can manage stairs and who wants/needs a fine place well-located between all the fun-filled, outdoor activity options available in Vail Valley. Accessible, professional, and pleasant owners maintain the property well, and appreciate feedback. We are grateful to stay in their home, if only for a short time each year, and try to treat it with even more respect than we do our own. A trip to Vail, especially to play lacrosse with old friends, is great by itself. Knowing that the rental process will be easy and the property will be great makes the trip to Vail for the lacrosse tourney (or for any reason) even better. We hope to stay again in 2016.

Ski dream for a week

  • 5 of 5

The condo was fantastic. It was on the bus line and very accessible. We were close to Lions Head Village where we dropped off the kids for ski school. The condo was perfect for our kids sleeping arrangements. Our boys shared the bunk room and our daughter had a room next to them. They shared a perfect size bathroom. The master bedroom was on the top floor. It was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was awesome. I had never used a steam shower before and it helped those sore ski muscles! There was also an over sized whirlpool tub. The common area was so well planned. A wonderful kitchen with beautiful cooking utensils and a large table for family dining. This was a great family condo and I hope to return again soon!

Great Property

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay over the Fourth of July holiday. Great location. Convenient for both Vail and Beaver Creek.

Home is as immaculate as pictures indicate. Furnishings and appliances are nice and comfortable. Kitchen is completely stocked. Steam shower was very nice bonus. Friendly and helpful neighbors. The porches are fantastic on a summer evening. The back porch overlooks Gore Creek.

Great communication with owners from booking through refund of deposit. Deposit was refunded quickly.

Only complaint was with Comcast cable service. Even that wasn't a big deal as there was too much else to do to spend much time watching television.
