The house is 'upside-down' with the living room, kitchen, entertainment area & master bedroom/bathroom on the second floor (maximizing your view). Vaulted ceilings & landscape windows overlook the West Yellowstone Valley & the Continental Divide - the Backbone of the Rocky Mountains (see photos of actual view). There is a great feeling of openness either inside or outside. Four bedrooms & 2 full baths are on the ground floor (see floor plans in photos).
This distinctive vacation home is located just 7 miles west of West Yellowstone, MT, the gateway to Yellowstone National Park.
To go on about how unbelievably awesome Yellowstone is would be redundant. You wouldn't be looking here if you didn't already know, but suffice to say, no matter what you want in terms of the out-of-doors, wilderness, tranquility and complete spiritual recharge - it is here. Fishing, hiking (walking) through the woods, wolves, bears, elk, moose… or just sitting on the deck...
The house is newly renovated and looking absolutely beautiful.
'I am in love with Montana. For other states I have admiration, respect, recognition, even some affection, but with Montana it is love... It seems to me that Montana is a great splash of grandeur. The scale is huge but not overpowering. The land is rich with grass and color, and the mountains are the kind I would create if mountains were ever put on my agenda. It seems to me that the frantic bustle of America was not in Montana.'

We are local Montanans that love the state, and area, the wilderness and the Park. I grew up in Paradise Valley, and no matter how far I get away I keep coming back. It is God's country and we are happy to share with you not only our home, but our hearth. WELCOME

Beautiful, rustic, spacious home situated within 10 minutes of West Yellowstone.
Our family of 8 stayed in this lovely, spacious home situated in a quiet wooded area. It was clean and comfortable with a nice kitchen/big room with a gorgeous view that suited our family well. We loved using the grill for meals and had lots of space for family games and conversation.
Great fishing camp
Five of us guys rented this house for a fall fishing trip and it worked out fantastically. The house was very comfortable and having five bedrooms and three bathrooms made the accommodations work very well for our group. It was also nice being a few miles outside of West Yellowstone - very peaceful at night.
Spacious house and quiet setting
House is spacious, well equipped, close to the park and secluded. Beds were comfortable and xtra pillows a plus. Only downside: internet is very slow, <1 Mbps. and it would have been nice if grass had been mowed so children could play outside.
We enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful, quiet setting
We had such a nice visit at Moose Crossing. It was a spacious, comfortable home for two families. Beautiful views, lots of windows for great light, great mudroom/entryway for stashing shoes and backpacks, nice open kitchen, huge washer/dryer, close and convenient to the park, private setting. Very nice deck but we had lots of mosquitoes this time of year so could not enjoy it as much as we hoped. We would definitely make a return visit and would recommend to anyone looking for a great home close to West Yellowstone.
Very nice and comfortable
The property was exactly as advertised. Nice location.
Beautiful place. Enjoyed our stay
The house is beautiful. Everyone in our group loved it

Other Activities: Shopping, Boating, Snowmobiling, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Snowboarding Ski: While West Yellowstone is more know for the park right next door and some of the world's best snowmobiling, Big Sky is only 80 miles away and an easy day trip. This is one of the Rocky Mountains best ski fields.

Please discuss with me about pets. If they are older "family members" we don't mind. We do not allow dogs under 2 years of age and they can not be left alone in the house at any time. Yellowstone welcomes pets on a leash.
