About Bonnie Clark

Long time Vail sking Family. Bonnie is from Connecticut and Tom is from LA. We met in Denver in 1985 and soon discovered we both had been sking Vail since 1967. Married since 1988. One wild and crazy 21 year old son Matt. Matt has been skiing since he was two. He left us in the dust at the age of 12. We know the town and the mountain from our many years of sking and loving Vail.

Bonnie Clark purchased this condo in 1989

Why Bonnie Clark chose Vail

We love the Sandstone area of Vail. We call it the sunny side of town. We have a great view of the ski area. The free shuttle service is so easy and gets us to the lifts in minutes. Our family has skied many different areas but find Vail to be the best overall. There is no ski area that can match the back bowls of Vail.

What makes this condo unique

We like to be able to look at the ski area. We feel like we are in a small community in the Sandstone area. The parking is so easy as we own a parking space 10 ft from our door. Our Condo complex (Sandstone 70) was built in 1969 on over 4 acres of land so we have great open space huge trees and a creek that runs through our complex. The area is so quiet and yet close to all that Vail has to offer.

Guestbook comments from the owner

You'll be happy you did!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this cozy condo for a ski vacation. It was perfect! The condo is well maintained and a very close walk to Lionshead Village. We walked every day to the lift. We really enjoyed the fireplace to warm us up after a day on the slopes. We had the opportunity to meet the owner, Bonnie. She is so nice and is very committed to ensuring that her guests are well taken care of. We would definitely rent this condo again.

Perfect location and nice and clean!

  • 5 of 5

Easy to get to mountain via free shuttle and/or virtually walk across the street to Lionshead Village. Wood burning fireplace was awesome, everything in working condition and everything we needed for our stay was provided. Very comfortable pull out sofa too! (blow up mattress).

Excellent ski accomodation

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place for a couple to stay for a ski holiday. The condo is exactly as advertised and shown in the pictures, with great attention to detail. It is spacious, comfortable, modern and impeccable in functionality. The busstop across the road makes for effortless ski slope access. Perhaps the best part is that Bonnie seems to have thought of everything for your convenience, from an abundance of towels to all kinds of kitchen necessities to even a Safeway club card for significant savings in grocery shopping. Communication with Bonnie was very fluent and our querries were all answered promptly. We highly recommend this for anyone who likes stress-free holidays!

Impressed with Details

  • 5 of 5

We were impressed with the level of detail that the owners took to make the property comfortable and cozy - it felt like our home-away-from-home. The property is well-maintained, well-stocked and very convenient to Vail Village and Lionshead with the free shuttle bus stop literally across the street. We had a very comfortable and fun week of skiing in this property and I would recommend it.

Excellent Vail Condo

  • 5 of 5

My husband, 11-year old daughter and I rented this condo for New Year's week on our first vacation to Colorado. Accommodations were fantastic. The condo is very clean, organized and updated. It has all the amenities of home including free wi-fi. Vail Mountain is very close and in walking distance or right across the street the bus comes every 15 minutes for a short ride to the mountain. The owner, Bonnie, communicated with us well and was very friendly. I highly recommend this rental property and hope to go back in the future.
