About Cabin Sweet Cabin
Family Time Vacation Rentals specializes in managing privately owned cabins-homes, lodges and condos. We are hands on and live where are properties are located. My wife and I started our business in 2008 after deciding we wanted to give our children the simpler life of living in the country. Our business is built on the concept of providing comfortable lodging to families and individuals who want to feel the comforts of home while away on vacation. With over seven years of experience in the nightly rental business, we consistently work to provide top quality properties at affordable rates. A large percentage of our guests who visit the area and stay with us become repeat customers because they had a great time and have said the accommodations and beautiful landscape of where their vacation home was located were exceptional.

What makes this Cabin unique
Even though this cabin is nestled securely in a secluded private setting, it is still within walking distance of the country store, giant steps ski lifts and restaurants. Spring - Fall you will love hanging out in the park like backyard. Enjoy a nice game of horse shoes, while the kids roast marshmallows around the outdoor fire pit, or swing on the rope swings made specially for the little tikes. In the winter months, enjoy sledding down the hills just outside the backyard. This place has it all!

Great ski experience
We had a great stay in this cabin. Kids had a great time!
I would really like to rate the property and the property management separate.
We loved our stay with the ecception of : the AC was controwed from the outside through wifi. During the night the temp was getting down to 47*. The chimney downstairs got clogged and smoke started coming out while we had the fireplace upstairs going. The maintenance crew needs to visit the property and do some repairs. The cleaning crew needs to be re-evaluated or changed ( dirty towels, spider webs etc. )
Great property for big group, not very private, only one actual room- master bedroom. Nice Play-room for fun.
Beautiful location. Lots of room for our large group to hang out. The kitchen area was great. Lots of counter space and room to move about while cooking. Management people were wonderful and helpful. Great area outside for sledding in the snow. The circulation and thermostat were not great. We would set it to 72 and it would reset to 63. The mattresses on the larger beds need replacing. The bunk beds were wonderful for the kids. A large community tv with a DVD player would have been nice in the family room area. There is no blue ray player. We would highly recommend this place and we would stay at this cabin again.
Property was amazing; Property managers not so much
I really wish I could rate the property and the property management separately. The property itself is definitely worth five stars. The location is absolutely gorgeous, secluded among pine and aspens, you hardly notice the neighboring cabins. The interior is cozy and offers much in the way of entertainment and hospitality. It is a true shame that the property is being managed so poorly.
The first thing I noticed was the immense difficulty to even enter the property. The only instructions I received was a brief text message on how to unlock the front door. After numerous attempts, I had to ask the manager to unlock the door remotely, due to the key pad failing to disengage the deadbolt. Once inside, my fiance and I placed our belongings in the master bedroom, which was incredibly cold. We tried to turn on the gas fireplace in the master bedroom, but there was no gas hooked up! Despite turning the nozzle to the 'on' position, and doing everything we would normally do with a gas fireplace (we have one in our home), the fireplace remained dead. Then, washing up, I noticed that the right-hand sink in the master bathroom was blocked to the point of little to no draining capability. Great. There was also a distinct lack of trash cans in either the master bedroom or bathroom.
The disappointments continued with the property managers forgetting to turn the thermostat from the 'away' setting. The house REFUSED to get above 65 degrees Fahrenheit, due to the thermostat constantly resetting itself to the remote 'away' setting. Normally this wouldn't have bothered me, but the weather outside was snowy and very very cold. Maximum 65 degrees is not a comfortable temperature when the outside temperature is below freezing.
We still tried to make the most of it, and had brought some steaks to grill on the propane grill located on the patio. Lo and behold, a quarter of the way through grilling the steaks, the propane ran out! Luckily it was Friday and there was a shop open that provided us with a refill tank, at an additional cost of $30! Plus all of the firewood we purchased to burn in the indoor fireplace just to keep the house warm!
All in all, if the property were managed correctly, this would definitely be a five star place to stay. Unfortunately it is not. I will be hard pressed to stay in any other place that is managed by the same company.
A great location and accommodations for a fun family retreat!
We had a great time staying in this cabin. All the appliances and supplies we needed were there. It was so close to Brian Head resort and we were able to walk down and participate in the concert and other things happening for the Labor Day Holiday.
The property was easy to find and clean upon our arrival. We were surprised by the great access to ATV trails right from the back deck of the property. My family had an awesome time riding ATV's while we were there and the trails were so accessible we never felt the need to haul the ATV's anywhere else.
While some of the bedrooms were a lot smaller than they looked online we were still able to all fit. The kitchen/cooking area was great and we loved the large tables and deck area to eat and hang out in. We also enjoyed the master bedroom and tv. Not sure if the other tv's worked as we never used them. Our only complaint would be that the dryer took forever to dry our wet clothes after a surprise rain shower while riding the ATV's and we ran out of tin foil which was not provided in the kitchen.
My family would definitely consider using this property again and were pleased with the customer service we received.
Four-wheeling, ATV, Snowmobiling, fishing.
