Relaxing Lake-front stay with picturesque views of Lake from screened-in porch, or deck
Very relaxing vacation! Enjoyed listening to the tides caused by the breezes, crash on the shore under our porch, We really enjoyed that the woods bring you right to the lake.
Morningside is exactly as described in the posting, a quintessential Maine camp on Sebago Lake. We had a wonderful time relaxing on the deck and enjoying dinner in the screened in porch. We even took the dinghy out for a paddle around the lake! Adele is a wonderful host, and her cottage provides all you need for a memorable Maine vacation.
Excellent Sebago Lake Experience
This house is great, Adele provides everything you need to have a great experience. The house is right on the lake and is a lot bigger than the pictures suggest. Would definitely recommend staying here.
A cozy cottage
For the second year we stayed for Memorial day weekend and we couldn't be happier. The cottage is clean and quiet with a supply of firewood to warm the chilly spring nights. There is plenty of room,, a lovely screened porch where you can drink your morning coffee and watch the loons. There is an outdoor fire pit and a well equipped kitchen if you are so inclined. And Sebago is a beautiful lake. We are already talking about our stay next year!
An amazing setting
We stayed at Adele's home for a long weekend and the location was amazing!!! If you like a cabin look and feel, serene setting then this is the place! Adele was an amazing host from beginning to end! We have no complaints, loved our stay and look forward to going back in the future
Sebago Lake, Maine's second largest and home of the landlocked salmon, is at the center of a popular vacation area situated approximately 40 minutes from Portland International Airport and the ocean beaches of Southern Maine and about an hour from Freeport and its many shopping outlets. This pristine, deep and picturesque lake provides ample opportunites for all water sports and fishing. One sees loons and other birds, including nesting eagles on a nearby island. North Sebago is located on the quieter, western side of the lake, 6 miles from the recreational town of Naples, with its golf courses, restaurants, antique shops and more. Deertrees, one of New England's oldest summer theaters, is located in nearby Harrison.
