Always Your Paradise is a fully equipped two bedroom, one bath, garden level condo located in the heart of Historic Old Town Key West. Our condo is part of the prestigious Truman Annex community. There is secure off street parking, but the easiest way to get around the island is either walking or riding a bicycle. The condo is walking distance to the excitement of Duval Street, the tranquility of Fort Zachary Taylor beach or the enchantment of the sunset celebration at Mallory Square.

The temperature controlled swimming pool is steps away from the back deck. While at the pool you can enjoy the sun while lounging in one of the many chairs or taking a dip in the pool. The beach at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park is a short walk or bike ride away. We have included picnic coolers for you to use during your stay. While at the beach enjoy swimming in the warm ocean water, snorkeling around the rock piles that are just off shore or sunbathing on the beach. The amenities at the beach include a full service snack bar, fresh water showers and restrooms.

There are many attractions in Key West. You can fill your days sightseeing, shopping, listening to music, fishing, enjoying a day playing on the water or just watching the world go by. We would be happy to tell you about the many things to do while in Key West.

The deck of our garden level condo can be the center of activity during your stay. The deck is a great place to start the day with your morning coffee and breakfast. Enjoy a quick lunch or refreshing beverages while taking a break from your activities.

About Chris Sprague

My husband and I grew up in Colorado and have vacationed in many places. We discovered Key West while on vacation with our daughters in 2000. We currently live in a small town in the mountains of Idaho and the small town feeling of Key West made us feel at home. We enjoy spending time on the water; whether is swimming, snorkeling, fishing or watching sunset from a sailboat. Once you experience the magic of this little island you will keep coming back just as our family has for the past ten years.

Why Chris Sprague chose Key West

My husband and I fell in love the Truman Annex the very first time we stayed here. We immediately knew that we HAD to own a small piece of paradise. The pace of the island and the numerous activities captured our interest from the time we landed at the airport. Before we left from that vacation we had already put on offer in on the condo we eventually purchased.

What makes this condo unique

There are many things we enjoy while we stay in our condo. Simply drinking our morning coffee while sitting on the back deck is a great way to start the day. We enjoy anything that involves water; including going to the pool, going to the beach or spending time on the water. Whenever we are here we make sure that we spend several days fishing. An additional benefit of fishing is cooking the catch at the condo or have it cooked by one of the local restaurants.

Beautiful condo

My husband and I along with another couple stayed in this beautiful condo for a week. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owners were so helpful with everything prior to arrival and once we arrived. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because we requested the 2nd room be converted to a king and the cleaning woman did not have that done once we arrived. Other than that, this place was PERFECT! We will definitely stay again.

Great Condo in the best location

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in Key West. From the get go, Chris was so helpful and accommodating. Once we arrived at the condo, we were so happy to find it was everything we needed for our stay. Very cozy place with everything you could need for your stay. Once we got out and started to explore, we realized just how lucky we were to be in the location we were. We could bike most places we wanted to go in less then five minutes. By the end of our first night we were already talking about planning another trip and staying at the condo. It really is a perfect spot for your Key West trip.

And Paradise It Is

Love, love, love this condo! This was my fourth time renting in Shipyard and this was by far the best condo I have rented. It is very nicely decorated, not over the top tropical decorations or paint colors, just nice soothing colors in the rooms, with appropriate paintings, decorations and furniture throughout the condo. It kind of had a subtle feeling, very warm and homey. The best re-do of a bathroom I have seen in Shipyard. The design opened it up, tons of storage and a great walk-in shower. Beds were very comfortable, and nice bedding. Comfortable sofa, great TV's, stereo. Very well stocked kitchen, you will want for nothing. Washer/dryer, plenty of towels, both bath and beach. Patio out back was fantastic - table and chairs, grill and beautiful plants. When at the condo we spent most of our time out there. Also a small front porch with a table and two chairs. While we did not rent a car this time, the parking space is very close to the rear entrance of the condo. Not all units offer this feature. My favorite feature was the keypad, both front and back. No worrying about who has the key or losing the key. We had three adults in the condo for seven nights and never got in each other's way. Great location, beautiful complex and pool. Close to everything but you feel a million miles away when relaxing at the pool or on the patio. Chris, the owner, was a pleasure to work with, lots of communication, always available. I can't say enough how important that is when you are renting long distance. I will definitely want to rent this condo again on my next trip to Key West. Give this condo a try, you won't regret it.

Location, location, location!

I have a walking disability and the convenient location of this condo was priceless! It is close to the assigned parking space, the beautiful pool, has an easily accessible ground floor setting and the wonderful walk-in shower is spa quality! Plus the condo is close to all the Old Town attractions. The owner was invaluable in suggesting thing to do in KW that only the "locals" know about. We hope to rent again for my wife's 60th birthday.

Great Relaxation

There were four of us in the condo and we had plenty of room. The condo was clean and ready for our arrival. Having the keypad to gain access works great, rather than trying to pass around a key. The area is quiet and safe late at night when walking back from Duval Street. I enjoyed working and talking with Chris. She was always available if needed and made the rental process easy. We hope to stay there again in the future!

Beautifully appointed, very comfortable condo with great location within the complex and in Key West

This condo is great. The photos are exactly how it looks. It is beautifully appointed even down to the lighted green palm tree night lights. The queen bed is quite comfortable. The outside deck is large with nice furniture, beautiful plants, and plenty of shade at all times. The pool and the parking space are just steps from the back gate. Chris was great to work with through out the rental process and when we contacted her during our stay. It is always best to rent from owners who actually use their condo themselves which is the case with this unit. We have already told Chris we want to rent again next year. Truman Annex is our favorite place to stay in Key West. It is right off all the action of Duval Street, Mallory Square, and the waterfront but is gated, quiet, serene and gorgeous with all the white historical homes and palm and flower lined streets. Go and enjoy.
