This tastefully appointed three bedroom, three and one-half bath home with WI-FI. 4317 ELEVENTH located in the desirable East Beach community a short block and a half from the beach!

The great room is perfect for entertaining family or friends, features vaulted ceilings with white hardwood floors. Three sets of French doors open to a large deck and a private fenced in rear yard! The large eat in kitchen features granite counter top and floor to ceiling windows surrounding a cozy breakfast nook! The master bedroom, with a queen size bed is located on the first floor with French doors providing private access to the deck. A large walk-in closet, tile shower with built - in bench, marble vanity and Jacuzzi soaking tub are added features to the master suite! Two spacious guest bedrooms on the second floor enjoy their own private bathrooms. Each bedroom has a queen size bed. In addition there is a cozy loft with a day bed providing additional sleeping quarters. The loft provides direct access to the 3rd bathroom as well. An open 'cat walk' connects the bedrooms and overlooks the living area below. The two-car garage offers secure parking and protection from inclement weather. WI-FI ACCESS!

This homeowner is a member of the Sea Island Club and extends to his renters, as his guests, the option to purchase a temporary membership. This entitles the house guests to play golf (Seaside , Plantation and Retreat courses ) , tennis and usage of the Beach Club facilities including the spa and fitness center! Enjoy meals in any of the Cloister's dining venues as well as the Mobil 5-star Lodge ( the Oak Room and Colt and Alisons) ! Additional fees are charged for golf, tennis, the spa and fitness center . Usage of the fabulous Beach Club and its 3 pools are included with the basic membership fee at no extra charge ! Temporary membership fees vary depending on several factors. About Bill Monk

Pam and I toured the island back in 1999 and saw East Beach as a highly desirable community, given the low density ( only single family houses ), eclectic mix of homes - running the gauntlet from original beach homes to high end newer residences - and the extensive tree cover, dominated by the stately live oaks. We bought our first house in 2001 ( on Bruce Drive ), fixed that up and purchased 4317 Eleventh Street in 2004. We also own a 3rd house on East Beach which we call our second home.

Why Bill Monk chose St Simons Island

Master bedroom suite with large bathroom - with soaking tub and large walk in shower - and walk in closet is on the first floor. House is easily accessible for adults and those who are do not want to walk up a full flight of steps to access the first floor. Only 4 steps from the street into the house. Master bedroom suite is also on the first floor ! Beach is easily accessible at end of Eleventh Street. This is a highly desirable section of the beach where there is never a crowd. House has a two stall garage for renter's usage.

Family oriented atmosphere with something for everyone! From the beautiful beach and ever changing marsh, to the outdoor activities including great golf, tennis, and biking, fabulous restaurants and proximity to Savannah it is hard not to love St. Simons! Located at 4317 Eleventh Street on East Beach this house has great beach access and is sure to please!

Quiet family space

Good space w 3 bedrooms and loft. Great back deck for morning coffee. Centrally located on east beach. Easy walk to beach or marsh. Pet friendly; lots of natural light; quiet neighbors. Nice family space.

Excellent Spot for a Family Getaway

Stayed here with my family of six. The property is beautiful and well kept. Furthermore, the location is perfect for either a family. It is nestled in a residential neighborhood away from the noise and crowds. It is only a 1.5 blocks from beach access. However, it is less than a 10 minute drive (or 2 mile bike ride) to Neptune Park and the Pier. Also, the large back deck was great for outdoor dining or just enjoying a morning coffee.

Wonderful break away location

The home served us well with four older children and a dog. It was great having the fenced in yard for the dog and for all of us to relax on the deck. The short walk diet 11th street thru the tree tunnel to the beach was so close to the house and really neat.

The home was spacious enough for all of us, and quiet enough for us all to sleep in and relax. Favorite part for us, as family, was the big dining table where we would start the day with a peaceful large breakfast and very much needed family time for conversation around the feast.

One area for improvement, were the mattresses, which were quite hard and cushionless, even for our flexible young ones. Achy backs every morning, (ouch). A memory foam topper was better for us on the master bed, and we all thought they'd be great on the others, too. Our son preferred the leather couch for sleeping.

Definitely rent bikes from Island bicycle, they deliver and pick up for free. They are a blast and with the house location, bikes make it easy to go everywhere.

We considered the Sea Island passes as a treat, but the cost $400 for one day for our family, was prohibitive for just getting some pool access. Anyway, though, the beach was absolutely enough for sunning and swimming and connecting with nature.

Great Rental in East Beach

I rented this home for 30 days and it was a great decision. The home is in a quiet neighborhood, conveniently located to the beach, pier, and center of St. Simons Island services. The home is in great shape, furnished comfortably, and outfitted with every appliance and piece of kitchen equipment needed. We had a great stay and would rent the home again.
