'Best place rented on Lake Anna to date'
'Of all of the trips our family has taken this has been the most worthwhile, and the most wonderful accommodations, beautiful house (clean & cozy) we have ever had the pleasure of sharing. The view is spectacular and being outdoors was awesome!'
'Entered stressed out - leaving mellow. What a lovely week we spent enjoying the outdoors and indoors. House has all the touches of home with a vacation view all rolled up in one. Can’t wait to return with my brother’s family.'
'Your house is just great and the property is spectacular...we love the trees. The house is so well maintained and it is obvious that you care a lot about it. We loved being there. We were very pleased with the way the whole process worked and the price was reasonable.'
Home is located on two acres of gradually sloping wooded lakefront property facing West toward the lake, with about 300 feet of waterfront.
We are located on the private side of Lake Anna which has considerably less water traffic than the public side.

Wonderful enjoying breakfast, lunch, or dinner on the dock, and watching the sunset or stars at night. If you are renting our house - fishing is allowed off our dock without a fishing license.
Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Both sunny and shady spots are available.

Bill is so welcoming and accomodating. They take such pride in their home.
It has all the comforts of home. We wanted for nothing.
Breakfasts and dinners on the pier were wonderful. Caught quite a few catfish right off the pier. Saw some big bass, but couldn't catch them.
Sitting at the campfire at lakeside was the perfect ending to our days.
The lake is beautiful, huge and warm! Ninety four degrees on September 14th! So convienient to launch our boat (right beside the property!) and have it at our own dock at our disposal.
Our first time there, but hopefully not our last! Thanks for a totally relaxing, rejuvenating week!
This place was perfect for our week-long vacation with friends. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, ages 6 and 7. The house is gorgeous--more than enough space for all of us. The owner was so friendly and helpful when we arrived, walking us around the house and showing us all the tricks. He clearly takes lots of pride in this place, which has been beautifully maintained. The water is definitely on the warm side, but we could not have had a more lovely, relaxing time here. Hoping to return! Thanks!!
We had a family get together at this lake house and it was wonderful. All ages from 1 to 80 enjoyed the house in their own way. The kids had so much fun down by the lake, jumping off the dock, trying to catch fish, and sitting by the fire-pit. The older family members relaxed on the outdoor screened in porch and watched the fun from a quiet distance. During the whole week we stayed we barely saw anyone, it was as if we had the lake to ourselves and the water was incredibly warm. The house was remarkably clean and well cared for. It is extremely homey and comfortable with a spacious open floor plan downstairs. The owner has thought of every tiny convenience one can think of to make the vacation that less stressful. Everyone LOVED the outdoor shower as well. If you are looking for a relaxing week - i highly recommend staying here.
This is a beautiful property and home for vacationing with family and children. We have stayed here 4 years in a row, and have thoroughly enjoyed each stay. The fishing, swimming, boating and other activities have been wonderful each year. The owner has been very responsive to our feedback and any concerns that we experienced.
We very much enjoyed our visit and found the accommodations wonderful. We will be back.
Our visit was awesome. The owner was very welcoming when we arrived. The location is nice. It was in the 90's all week but the fully shaded yard allowed us to enjoy the outside still. It is extremely clean and well stocked. We had a fabulous weekend.
Lake Anna is located in central Virginia about 90 minutes SW from Washington DC, and halfway between Fredericksburg and Charlottesville. Nearby is Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's home), Kings Dominion Amusement Park, and National Military Parks.
