The flat, on the elevated ground floor is fully secured and easily accessible. There is a comfortable double bed in the bedroom. The extra folding bed in the living room, available on request, makes it ideal for a couple and a child or a friend. The air conditioning makes the apartment very comfortable even through the hottest summer days and nights.
There is free internet WI-FI access.
The flat is equipped with a washing/drying machine. An automatic laundry service is also right opposite. Access to the beach is very easy with tram or bus. Coffee shops, news stands, restaurants and bars around the Acropolis and the tavernas of old Plaka are all at a walking distance. The Acropolis Museum also offers great views to the Acropolis from its beautiful and economic roof terrace Restaurant and Cafeteria. There are many events taking place both in the Museum and in the lively and safe neighbourhood.
The National Garden, the Panathinaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games were held in 1896, Zappeion, the House of Parliament and many other archaeological sites are all at a walking distance. It is also a great experience walking down the Ermou Street shops and to the Monastiraki Flea Market.

Great place and perfect location and awesome host
We stayed there for 5 nights Sept 19-Sep 22 2017. Perfect location...seriously cannot get better than this. Very clean and modern. Nikos was so nice and welcoming and perfect host.
we do recommend this place to all of our friends and family and cannot wait to go back. Thank you Nikos for making our stay so wonderful.
Great location, great host!
We walked everywhere we needed to go for four days. Nikos was a great host. He met us and explained the apartment. He helped get a taxi for our ride to the ferry port. The apartment was very clean and the little bit of spices in kitchen were a help for the meals we prepared. Two nice bars/eateries across the street. Loved the dark Czech beer on tap. W would defenently recommend this apartment to a friend and would stay here again on a return trip. The washer/dryer was also very nice to have. We arrived at our next destination with all clean clothes. thanks Nikos!
Great location. Communication with host nikos was excellent!
Nicely renovated with good taste. Kitchen was very well equipped. Easy communication with host. Highly recommend.
The apartment was as expected: spacious enough, clean, comfortable bed, so close to everything but quiet inside. Nikos was very welcoming, although we never personally met. The only suggestion would be to have written instructions on how to operate the hot water heater, the shower and the washer/dryer. Overall a pleasant stay that I would do again!
A perfect location and a gracious host!
I loved everything about my stay here! Nikos is a wonderful host. The apartment is perfectly situated for easy access to the sites and transportation. It is a lovely, clean, modern place with all the amenities I needed. I would highly recommend, and I would definitely come back.
Koukaki, the neighborhood on the south slope of the Acropolis is an old area with a history of thousands of years. The new Acropolis Museum designed by architect Bernard Tschumi has brought new life the area. The pedestrianized street network around the Acropolis with its small cafes and shops is the meeting point for both Athenians and visitors from all over the world. The Acropolis on the one side and the 'listed' historic neoclassical buildings on the other, make Dionysiou Areopagitou Str one of the finest promenades in the world. The old traditional area of Plaka, only a few blocks away, is a unique place to visit, not only for its traditional architecture, the archaeological sites and the museums, but also for its tavernas and the amazing nightlife. The Acropolis metro station provides quick access to other areas including the Athens International Airport, the Port of Piraeus and the Railway Station. The House of Parliament, the National Garden etc are only a small walk away. How to get there: TAXI : Direction ATHENS, ACROPOLIS MUSEUM, Koukaki, 8 VEIKOU Str. The cost is around 35€. METRO: It is cheaper to buy a DOUBLE TICKET for 2 persons. From ATHENS AIRPORT Take the METRO LINE 3 direction AGHIA MARINA to ATHENS. Get off at SYNTAGMA . Change to LINE 2 direction ELLINIKO. Get off at ACROPOLIS (next stop) From PIRAEUS PORT: Take the METRO LINE 1 direction ATHENS. Get off at OMONIA. Change to LINE 2 direction ELLINIKO. Get off at ACROPOLIS.
