This spectacular home is perched on a 23-acre knoll above the beautiful Napa Valley with 180 degree valley and mountain/forest views. Elegant yet very family-friendly, the home was designed by renowned architect Robert A.M. Stern. It features a huge master suite with his and hers dressing rooms, as well as two additional bedrooms with ensuite baths, one with a queen bed, and the second with twins that can be converted to a king. A gourmet kitchen with premium appliances opens onto a warm family room with fireplace. The house also features a wood paneled library with fireplace, huge living room with high ceilings and fireplace that opens onto a walled garden, and dining and breakfast rooms. A fully equipped exercise room includes weight and cardio machines. Outside, you can enjoy the late afternoon views of the valley from the Adirondack chairs on the terrace, then eat dinner overlooking the pines on Mt. St. John on the pergola-covered patio in back. After dinner, enjoy a fire in the outdoor fireplace as the day cools.
The stone pool house contains two large bedroom/sitting rooms with a king in one and twins in the other, plus fold out couches in each, along with ensuite baths. A kitchenette with sink, fridge, and microwave is perfect for guest breakfasts and lunch by the pool. The infinity edge pool is surrounded with lawn, and the spa is set among the natural boulders.
You can hike along abandoned mining trails, play tennis on the on-site tennis court, romp on the expansive lawns, or just relax under a tree or by the pool. World famous restaurants like the French Laundry are just minutes away, as are, of course, the greatest wineries in the country with their tasting rooms and tours.
