4 bedrooms - 3 1/2 bathrooms on a canal with bay access

Completed May of 2016 (reviews posted before 2016 are for original Fisherman's Paradise). Fisherman's Paradise is a 4 bedroom/3 full bath home with approximately 1500 square feet on one level. It is fully stocked (linens included)with everything you should need to make your vacation getaway perfect. The covered downstairs area contains a half bathroom with an open bar in the garage , a porch swing, hammock, outdoor shower and propane grill area. Upper deck includes a large sunning deck plus a covered area with a dining table that seats eight.

Plenty of room for three couples with children, too. The master bedroom has a king size bed, private bath, and water view down the canal. The second bedroom has a set of built in bunks along with a queen size bed, private bath and private balcony. A queen bed occupies the third bedroom. The fourth bedroom opens up to the living/dining/kitchen area and includes a full/twin bunk with a trundle plus a computer desk for a work area.

A kayak and paddle boat are provided for fun in the canal.

The community of Sea Isle offers a lighted fishing pier, childrens' playground, pool during summer, tennis courts, boat launch area, bait shop, outdoor bar and one of the island's best restaurants. It is ideally situated for great fishing in the surf or in West Bay, as well as bird watching during all seasons. Its close location to San Luis Pass offers easy access for offshore fishing.

Whether you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a family looking for quality time together, or friends that enjoy fishing, water sports or beach activities, this house will be perfect for your group.

About Carey Graham

Over twenty years ago, Denis and I purchased the property next door to this current rental. We owned lots on either side and decided to sell the older home in 2015 and build a newer rental on one of the empty lots. Canal Resort

For years my family has put together these mini vacations in Galveston in which family and friends have joined in on the fun to share quality time and perhaps do a little fishing. In the past we have also faced some challenges in the property we have selected. Often I was scolded because I have selected a beach-house which didn't meet the standards of everyone.

This was not the case this year. I received "thumbs-up" when all members of my party arrived. All the moms were complimentary of my selection. The house was new and everything was functional. It was clean and fresh at arrival which set the stage for us when we left. Everyone pitched in to keep it that way for our departure. The owners welcomed us which allowed us to feel like invited guests to THEIR house. If anyone decides to book a rental, this home sleeps the number of guests adequately as well as provide the room and comfort for their stay with NICE bathrooms and showers. I highly suggest this home for finicky individuals who can appreciate something clean, operable and very nice!

Beautiful Canal Home

My family and I enjoyed our Thanksgiving week tremendously. This house was so clean and inviting when we walked in. It was great to see the kitchen was stocked with everything that is needed and the furnishing are very nice. We loved fishing off the dock, paddle boating, swinging in the downstairs swing, and relaxing on the hammock. I would say this is the best house we have ever rented. The owner is so gracious and nice. When we get ready to rent another house, this one will be at the top of our list. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

This was an amazing rental. We had a blast. Love the downstairs carport area. Loved watching the Astros game out there. The house is so beautiful. Will for sure be renting this property again.

Perfect house!

We had such a great time at this house! The pictures don't do it justice!!

Carey was so kind! She checked in prior to our stay, stopped by while we were there, and was available for all our questions. The house was PERFECT. Every room was meticulously laid out, clean, and great for the four families (7 adults and 7 kids) staying there. It's truly the perfect distance from the beach, we enjoyed a little pool time, and fishing off the dock was everyone's favorite! We loved it so much and will for sure go back.
