About the property

4 bedrooms - 3 1/2 bathrooms on a canal with bay access

Completed May of 2016 (reviews posted before 2016 are for original Fisherman's Paradise). Fisherman's Paradise is a 4 bedroom/3 full bath home with approximately 1500 square feet on one level. It is fully stocked (linens included)with everything you should need to make your vacation getaway perfect. The covered downstairs area contains a half bathroom with an open bar in the garage , a porch swing, hammock, outdoor shower and propane grill area. Upper deck includes a large sunning deck plus a covered area with a dining table that seats eight.

Plenty of room for three couples with children, too. The master bedroom has a king size bed, private bath, and water view down the canal. The second bedroom has a set of built in bunks along with a queen size bed, private bath and private balcony. A queen bed occupies the third bedroom. The fourth bedroom opens up to the living/dining/kitchen area and includes a full/twin bunk with a trundle plus a computer desk for a work area.

A paddle boat, kayaks and a few floats are provided for fun in the canal. Two beach bikes available for cruising the neighborhood. The beach is approximately a mile from the house but it is best to access it by the drive on locations - each less than a two mile drive. Golf carts are available for rent in the area.

The community of Sea Isle offers a lighted fishing pier, childrens' playground, pool during summer, tennis courts, boat launch area, bait shop, outdoor bar and one of the island's best restaurants - West End Restaurant. It is ideally situated for great fishing in the surf or in West Bay, as well as bird watching during all seasons. Its close location to San Luis Pass offers easy access for offshore fishing.

Whether you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a family looking for quality time together, or friends that enjoy fishing, water sports or beach activities, this house will be perfect for your group.

Over twenty years ago, Denis and I purchased the property next door to this current rental. We owned lots on either side and decided to sell the older home in 2015 and build a newer rental on one of the empty lots. ABSOLUTELY Loved the property!!!!!

Carey, the owner and her husband were great. They welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay..... She even brought over playing cards because we forgot ours at home.

The house presented just as beautifully as the pics. Everything was better than I imagined. I'm pretty picky about where I stay away from home. I feel like it should be as nice or nicer than my home in every way. The property exceeded my expectations. I'm a clean freak and I totally appreciated the cleaniness of the property.

I will definitely be back here!

Beautifully decorated, super clean, all the amenities!

We had a wonderful stay at Carey’s canal Front home. We were a group of 2 families, 6 adults/3 kids, and we found the home to have plenty of space for us all. We really enjoyed all of the beach supplies provided! There was a canopy, plenty of sand toys for the kids, chairs, etc. as well as toys for the canal like the peddle boat and kayak. The bar area downstairs was great for a glass of wine at night while watching the Astros! Even though it was mid August there was a nice breeze, being so close to the bay. There were gorgeous sunsets from the 2nd floor deck. The beaches close by are nice and weren’t too crowded. The inside of the home is adorable and had everything we needed! We will for sure be back to stay and will recommend to our friends!

Wonderful house; great location

Updated house on the canal. Plenty of room for a family of 11. We enjoyed the water toys the owners provided. Plenty of parking. Had everything we needed minus the food. The owner was very responsive and met us at the house to answer any questions we had. We’d love to come back another summer! We recommend staying at this house

Beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay!

Carey, the owner, was wonderful! Great communication and very helpful! The house is located in Sea Isle, and everyone was very friendly. Our first night we ate a restaurant at the marina, and the atmosphere was awesome! It was kareoke night and people of all ages were singing! The inside of the house is well stocked and super clean, but we spent a lot of time out on the deck, or downstairs enjoying the paddle boat and kayaks! We will definitely stay here again! A terrific property for a nice family get away!
